About Zia Teresa
Zia Teresa began its journey towards becoming a London institution some six decades ago.
Our founder, Lorenzo Fraquelli, had already been hugely successful in establishing Italian cooking as a mainstay of London’s culinary scene during the early 1950’s.
In 1956 he decided upon his own independent venture and opened Zia Teresa on Hans Road in the chic heart of Knightsbridge. It has stayed with the Fraquelli family ever since, as part of our Metropolitan Restaurants group, and this year we celebrate 60 Years of serving exceptional, time-honoured Italian cooking.
The scallopina Milanese was dry . The pasta was delicious. It is definitely the best tomato pasta sauce. Service was very good. We loved the new decor.
Ended up here by accident 2 years ago now for my birthday and sat next to who we later found out was the owner. After a wonderful meal, great conversation and kind hospitality, my friend and I have returned every year. A delightful taste of Italy tucked away in a beautiful part of London.
Acolhedor, simpáticos e boa comida
Brilliant service, gorgeous food!
Yet again, a wonderful lunch. Variations to the menu were requested and fulfilled, plus we needed an extra table to go through paperwork and photo albums, which was cheerfully and willingly done. I'd go back every week with pleasure - good food and kind staff. What more could you want?!
Made my husbands birthday really special. He’s been going to Zia Teresa’s since he was 19 and has always been a special place (he’s now 52). Attentive staff. What a treat!
Very nice and tasty food. Very pleased with the service. We were 5 of us. The waiter didn’t write anything on the paper and she got our order correct which included starters and mains. Will definitely vist back 👍🏻
Very friendly staff and lovely food we will definitely be back again!
Good service and good food
Great food and serivice
The restaurant is lovely but the food was mediocre - specifically with my tomato pasta and my companions beef tagliatelle being very very salty. The service was polite but a little more attention to detail would make a massive difference - just a friendly, smiley welcome would be a lovely addition !
Cozy, warm and inviting. We had a family Christmas dinner after winter wonderland here, it was perfect.
A wonderful restaurant with lovely food.
Great food although was a little warm in there
Staff where lovely and the food was delicious
Despite arriving just before the kitchen closed, we had a good welcome and excellent food! Thanks!
Mediocre food. At best. Pitiful atmosphere. Inattentive service. Try Montpeliano instead.
Great food Great atmosphere Service was great, they were super attentive
The service, in particular the host, were rude. Would never go back.
Lovely spot to drop in for a delicious lunch!
Great location for any event. Superb service
Have been eating here since 1988 and love to come back when I can.
