About Zia Teresa
Zia Teresa began its journey towards becoming a London institution some six decades ago.
Our founder, Lorenzo Fraquelli, had already been hugely successful in establishing Italian cooking as a mainstay of London’s culinary scene during the early 1950’s.
In 1956 he decided upon his own independent venture and opened Zia Teresa on Hans Road in the chic heart of Knightsbridge. It has stayed with the Fraquelli family ever since, as part of our Metropolitan Restaurants group, and this year we celebrate 60 Years of serving exceptional, time-honoured Italian cooking.
Mediocre food. At best. Pitiful atmosphere. Inattentive service. Try Montpeliano instead.
Great food Great atmosphere Service was great, they were super attentive
The service, in particular the host, were rude. Would never go back.
Lovely spot to drop in for a delicious lunch!
Great location for any event. Superb service
Have been eating here since 1988 and love to come back when I can.
It was too hot and aircondition was not working and service was good although the man is not so perfect at welcoming
A lovely time spent in Zia Teresa, Knightsbridge yesterday. Plenty of room to sit and enjoy the meal. Service was excellent. Food delicious.
I have been going to Zia’s all my life, I love the restaurant so much. The food and staff are as wonderful as always!
Wonderful lunch as usual
No Calamari available as I believe the Fryer was not working. Otherwise definitely gets my vote.
Lovely restaurant with cheerful staff.
Delicious food, attentive staff, Zia Teresa is my favourite Italian restaurant tucked away in the centre of Knightsbridge ... perfect!
Friendly wait staff and delicious food.
The whole team never fails to delivery a great experience. I took my now wife to the restaurant 18 years ago, and Saturday was our 16th wedding anniversary. Fantastic and thank you all.
We ordered a rose wine, you didn't have it! We also ordered a red wine, you didn't have it! You served some undercooked prawns. Not an impressive first experience
Busy Italian, perfect location, excellent food!
Excellent all round
Food was lovely! Traditional Italian setting, nice and cosy! It is slightly pricey though but worth it
Our food was absolutely amazing! I'd recommend this restaurant to absolutely everyone!
VERY good help with gluten free diet.
We regularly meet family here as we all enjoy the food and atmosphere very much. The staff are always helpful and attentive.
The staff was amazing with our two girls. One waiter even gave each of them a rose. The food arrived promptly and was excellent. The portion sizes were more than aqeduate. Overall, a wonderful experience. Thank you for a great dining experience. The only slight negative would be that it was a little warm inside, but that was due to quite a warm day.
Perfectly situated whilst having a day out shopping with a nice ambience. The food however was sub standard. The lasagne was lacking in any meat or flavour, tagliatelle had obviously been blasted in the microwave and the salmon salad was all lettuce, half an avocado and a few slices of cucumber. Hardly a meal to suit the price or the area and had we not just wanted a nice day out we would have sent the dishes back and complained!
