Great meal, really nice staff
We were running late for our booking which meant we only had 45 mins to eat our meal before we were moving onto somewhere else. The staff were very accommodating of this and all our food was served very quickly, everything was delicious. The prawn pad Thai was probably one of the best I’ve ever had!
Service was very slow . No decaffeinated coffee and ran out of nice soft drinks
I love this restaurant. We went for a friends birthday on Saturday and the staff, food and environment was amazing. Big shout out to Eve at the bar who makes some mean cocktails. A lovely place to go and the food was exceptional ...can’t recommend highly enough.
Unfortunately we were not impressed the second time round eating here. We booked a table of 4 to celebrate my birthday and I was not happy with the experience but I didn’t want to say anything in front of my family as it would put a dampener on the evening. Here is how the evening went... My husband had ordered a soup, just before the starters arrived he was told they didn’t have any left so he changed his order to then be told they had one portion left. The starters, as we were all sharing we expected to be offered some plates but instead we ate from the tiny side plates as we couldn’t get anyone’s attention. The main courses came at seperate times rather than all together. No chopsticks offered and cutlery was not replaced between courses so we were constantly having to ask for the correct cutlery. The side of potatoes was forgotten about and brought half way through the Main course. I had ordered the duck with Chinese broccoli... however there was no broccoli on my plate.. this wasn’t brought to my attention and instead I had a mix of different vegetables... why have it on the menu with one thing and then serve it with something different. The Banoffee Dessert was tiny... and we were having to eat it out of a shot glass..?? Very strange presentation. We had barely finished and a lady comes up to the table and says do you want anything else or shall I bring the bill??? Talk about a straight forward way of getting rid of guests. Then we had a table of 4 sitting across from us who were very drunk, obnoxious and loud. The owner clearly knew them as she was constantly checking they were ok, sitting and laughing with them etc they had no consideration for any of the other tables and neither did she. At points we could barely hear each other they were that loud. She didn’t come up to our table once to check if everything was ok or if we needed anything etc. This was definitely not worth £60 a head .... and the manager/owner as well as the team have a lot to learn about customer service.
My family was visiting London and we went to Yum Sa for dinner. The service was impeccable and special mention to Poppy who was taking care of us that night. She made the dinner really enjoyable with a first class service. She was really sweet and attentive to both the elders and the children in the group and never fail to check in to see if we are enjoying the dinner. The whole dining experience was made fabulous because of her.
Excellent service everyone was very friendly. The food was delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant was exceptional. Highly recommended.
Amazing!! It’s sort of tucked away but it’s not. The vibe, people, food and everything about it was just lovely. The staff were very accommodating and the food was delicious! I absolutely loved the decor and authenticity of the place. It’s a great place for a special celebratory occasion x
Sadly it was very slow service. Such a shame. Plus we didn’t think our starters were cooked so we didn’t eat them. Main courses were nice though and good value
New menu today. Had happy hour first and the house red was good on its own and with the meal. Liked all the steamed dishes we tried i.e. chicken, crab, prawn and seared prawn . Mains were curry ones and a side of stir fried greens. The beef Phuket was very good. Deesert was the creme brûlée. Very good infusion of lemongrass. The ginger cookie was a bit hard and suggest smaller pieces or softer large piece. Overall good night out!
We liked! Great food! Over ordered on rice related items but that’s our fault.
We came with two kids, 7 and 10, for my wife's birthday meal. It was great food - our kids are mad about dumplings and pot-stickers and these were a cut above, with exciting colours and flavours. There was no kids menu despite this being on the website, but we were able to put together a nice selection to share, and waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a pleasant relaxed atmosphere, but classy enough to feel like a special occasion. I think we may find more birthday parties happening here as the year rolls round.
Fantastic experience! The ambience was great, beautiful decor. The food was wonderful, perfectly done. And the staff were exceptionally attentive, helpful, professional and friendly. Will definitely be going back and highly recommended. Thank you Yum Sa
A lovely atmosphere and incredible food. Very friendly owners to greet and are very attentive.
Good quality and tasty food. Friendly service. Perfect location close to the tube - easy for friends to find and meet up at. Music a bit loud but volume was reduced when requested - thank you. Just a bit echoey when there are not many people in the restaurant.
There were 5 of us for the Bottomless brunch. Alcohol was bottomless but not soft drinks for those who don’t drink. Food & food choices were in abundance however food was not tasteful. The pad thai was extremely dry and thus left aside which was a huge waste. There was no ‘thai’ taste to any if the dishes. Such a shame for a beautiful venue
Thank you sooo much to the entire team, you made my boyfriends birthday really special with efforts put into his Birthday dessert. The whole team was soo upbeat and friendly.. The Manager Poalo took amazing pictures of us, and we will definately be considering this venue for private dinning 🙂
Service was average, had to ask quite a few times for service and bill etc. Food was also average, the pad Thai was dry and the egg wrap surrounding it was only decorative and dry, not something I would enjoy eating.
friendly staff and fab food
Great time fantastic lunch as we ate the most delicious food and were made to feel special yet again as the Head Chef and owner popped over to say hi etc. Thank you Yum Sa team !
A lovely all round experience, the hosts are very lovely people and this shows through in every aspect of the experience.
Average food and service. I gave this place three shots and it was never better than average.
Thai tapas menu is great. Salads are delicious. Main courses can be a bit over-priced. Good range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Service always very welcoming although can be slow at busy times.
The food was lovely and good value but the drinks were very over priced. £12 for a gin and tonic and not even given a choice of Gin for that price !!
Four of us had a great Sunday lunch with bottomless food and drink which with a voucher was £25 per head. The food was excellent and all the staff we met were extremely professional, friendly and very helpful. The alcoholic drinks were truly bottomless for a set period of 90 mins. Food was bottomless for the length of the meal. All either starters or main courses on the menu were delivered for each course and then you could chose to repeat any you wanted more of. We were warned by staff that portions were small but we found we didn't need to repeat many dishes before we were full! The restaurant is larger than it appears from the front and has a quality contemporary look. We would certainly return.
