About Y Talbot
Y Talbot is an historic 4 Star inn, listed in the Michelin Guide and renowned for its food and hospitality. Classic dishes include Welsh lamb and beef, Cardigan Bay shellfish and fresh Welsh fish landed at Milford Haven. Head Chef Dafydd Watkin was trained by Marco Pierre White and his technical skills, attention to detail and use of top quality fresh ingredients create delicious starters, superb mains and exceptional desserts.
Special dietary needs are catered for with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. There is also a children's menu.
There are several dining options ranging from our restaurant converted from the old carriage house overlooking the square; the cwtsh, an intimate private dining room for up to 6 guests and the hall bar and front bar in the old beamed drovers inn (where dogs are also welcome).
Our attractive landscaped garden features a memorial to an elephant reputed to have died in the Talbot stables in 1848.
Listed in the Good Beer Guide, there is a selection of Welsh ales and ciders on the bar.
There are no steps or ramps on the ground floor giving good access for disabled guests as well as a disabled toilet and baby changing facilities.
Parking is available at the front and rear of the hotel as well as a large public car park within 75 yards.
