About Yellow Broom Restaurant
Whether you are a first time guest, regular visitor & friend, or a new local face to the area , you will always be warmly welcomed.
Situated in the picturesque Cheshire village of Twemlow Green, The Yellow Broom is one of Cheshire’s best known landmarks and treasured restaurants.
Here at the Yellow Broom we understand the true meaning of hospitality. Russell & Nathalie along with their team have a built a reputation as one of the most popular eateries in the Cheshire area.
The Yellow Broom is surrounded by lawns, a beautiful secluded south facing garden and heated terrace, enjoying an idyllic, typically English setting. But beyond the eye-catching displays is Russell’s “Lost Plot” vegetable, herb and flower garden that provide when in season pretty flowers displays and ultra fresh, organic herbs and salads.
From the beautiful Outside Verandah to the serene cascading fountain, a stroll through Nathalie’s secluded garden is the ideal place to while away an afternoon relaxing and enjoying the verdant scenery whilst catching up with friends and family.
Another lovely dining experience at The Yellow Broom. All well organised with plenty of space around the tables, staff all masked up and sanitizers on every table. We felt safe and well looked after.
Lovely to have been with you again for our Sunday lunch. As always very safe, very relaxing, such a wonderful atmosphere. We loved your new dishes on the menu - delicious. See you next Sunday. Sandra and Ken
The restaurant was quiet, with the latest rules reducing diners. All I’d say is this a great place to eat and, if you’re local as we are, please use it or we might lose it.
What a great restaurant
Excellent as always
Once gain we had a wonderful evening at the Yellow Broom. We found the food and drink to be the usual high standard as were the staff who are always courteous and helpful. I will happily return again and would warmly recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family.
Came for dinner a few weeks ago and the food and service were as good as I have become accustomed to from you even in these strange times. Only complaint is that you are not open more often !
Wonderful venue which has become one of our favourite spots. Wonderful hosts and staff and fabulous food. The outside setting and inside decor is exceptional. Only problem is that you are not open more often!
We had Sunday Lunch which was excellent. However, I don't eat deserts but it is necessary to pay for three courses even if you don't want one. An improvement would be for the option to just have two courses.
Originally booked as an afternoon tea. Sent email a few days before to say could be afternoon tea or luncheon. Apparently this was not picked up, and it felt like it was a bit of a problem to reset the table for lunch instead of afternoon tea. Lunch was superb.
Excellent meal. Country house restaurant. A nice place to go for a celebration. Not the cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for.
Loved our table location, and the way other furniture was located around to create a sense of own space. Tables were well spaced throughout. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff.
I took my 90 year old mum out for lunch and felt totally safe with the Covid regulations that the restaurant has in place that she was as protected as she could be. I felt a bit disappointed with the food we had chosen. The club sandwich could have been a little more refined rather than cut into two halves with large chunks of chicken. I did also expect the Spanish omelette to have potato in it. However it was very tasty. Overall it was a very relaxed afternoon and the service was very good. Staff very friendly and welcoming.
Very relaxing afternoon, excellent food and service impeccable. Beautifully laid out tables, spotlessly clean restaurant. One point to rectify, the coffee was lukewarm.
As always our visit to The Yellow Broom is the highlight of our week. You have created a very safe environment. On entering one feels an oasis of calm where high quality and delicious food is prepared, cooked and served by your super efficient team. Very many thanks and see you very soon. Sandra and Ken
Service was poor and not very attentive. Food was extremely over priced and menu very dated. Had to wait a long time for main course.
Best Croque Monsieur ever!
Lovely staff, welcoming atmosphere
This was our first time out following lockdown, self-isolation and my wife's hip op and we weren't disappointed. The YB experience was as always: easy, relaxed and notable for excellent food, service and atmosphere. Thanks!
This is a superb restaurant. The food and service are excellent. It's also wonderful to see such professionalism in relation to the health and safety of staff and customers in line with Covid-19 guidelines.
Amazing as always so good to be back ! Lovely Sunday lunch
Fantastic little place, the staff were wonderful and the food was lovely. We will definitely be returning to try some more of your yummy dishes!
Saturday night was the first time we have eaten out in a restaurant since lockdown began. We have been very worried about how restaurants have been dealing with the situation. We should have known that when it came to the Yellow Broom there would be no need for concern. Everything was as you would expect. We were sat far away enough from other diners, the staff all wore masks or visors, there was hand sanitiser as you walk in and on your table. Nathalie and Russell are doing everything they can to make their diners feel safe. That being said, it didn't feel like you were in a science fiction movie. Will definitely be going back. We have missed the Yellow Broom.
