About Xperience Restaurant
Xperience Bar & Restaurant is a relaxed yet stylish gastro-bar that will take you on a one-of-a-kind interactive culinary journey of the senses.
At the centre of our restaurant you can see a magnificent custom-built matt-black and rose-gold 20-ft Molteni oven, which is known as the Rolls Royce of all ovens. It is the theatrical stage of our Culinary Designer’s team.
Behind the Molteni French Oven is the private area which holds up to 6 privileged guests. This serves as our exclusive dining area within the restaurant for those special occasions.
The fresh and funky interior features LED lighting and a “bed-table” positioned at the back of the restaurant. Guests can climb into the bed for any of their meals, bringing a whole new meaning to dining in bed.
Our diners will be able to design their own customised menus, based on different culinary experiences - crunchy, juicy, smoky, creamy, silky, spicy and zesty – to name a few.
With the meal inclusive deal such as we had for five days, it would be good if there was a daily special entree/main otherwise it becomes somewhat boring. Disappointing fresh fruit for a tropical location
Unfortunately my Mother and I have had to cancel 3 dinner bookings as your set menu for Package was not to our liking. No plain food like a chicken fillet and vegetables or hamburger and chips or even beef fillet. Every food choice had spice or pepper or was a food we don’t eat. Very disappointing. I did ask a lady in the restaurant yesterday if there was something else we could have? She said she would check with the Manager and call us in our room. Unfortunately there was no call. Very disappointing.
We booked 3 night package through Luxury Escapes including breakfast, and lunch or dinner. Did not realise that this excluded us from your normal menu for dinner or lunch. Dinner menu was very poor and you asked us to pay for dinner choices on your normal menu as we didn't like food choices. When we decided to cancel all our dinner reservations and leave the restaurant, your manager offered them to us free. Too little, too late. We did not take up our lunch or dinner options which were included in our Luxury Escapes deal for our entire stay. Instead, we enjoyed our meals and drinks at Lau Pa Sat, a great asset to your hotel being right outside your front door. Also, visited your Rooftop Pool Bar. I paid approximately SG$26 for a plastic cup of champagne. Extremely disappointed as not served in a chilled glass, just a plastic cup! No premium beers, only 2 draft beers. All beer served in a plastic cup. If you are worried abour glass breakage, serve beer in cans. Very, very poor !! Maybe you need to employ a consultant to advise you about rooftop bars.

Atmosphere disappointing, dinner menu needs to be different from lunch menu associated with luxury escapes.

36 hours sous vide lamb neck was delicious!
We are part of a luxury escape deal and you need to change that part of your menu daily. Staff are friendly and helpful especially Malethy
The welcoming into the restaurant wasn’t very pleasant. When my dining partner and I walked into the restaurant and the staff didn’t really ask if we like a table or if we book a reservation. He wasn’t polite when clarifying the name the reservation was under. I am very disappointed with the service. I believe the staff thought we were customers from Eatigo. Regardless, I think all customers should be treated the same. I understand that the restaurant may have existing partnership to boost sales but I do not feel customers or even Accor plus members should be treated that way. 2 of the red wines house pours were also out. The Xperience burger didn’t taste as good as it was before. Ordered a medium rare but the looks and taste was more well done.

Have never before had a main dish delivered and left on the table before the entrée was finished, but this happened here. Also, disappointed at the lack of detail on menu items for those with dietary requirements.
We had a beautiful stay at the So Sofitel and the restaurant Xperience was a highlight. Lovely service and delicious food, Thankyou.
A nice Sunday's dinner with my wife gone terribly WRONG ! It was an awful experience. First, the Captain kind of rush when taking our orders. He said he will come back to take our drinks order but never. We had to ask for bread, repeatedly order and ask for our drinks. I dishes were cold. My wife's main course was served first. We repeatedly ask them to check on my main dish which are grilled prawns and was only served when my wife was finishing her main course. Same, my prawns were cold. Worst of all, service staff asked me did I actually order my main dish..... seems lots of confusion. This is a So Sofitel and the service were terrible. This will be my last time there...What a disappointment.

A very pleasant and enjoyable dining experience, where the courteous staff, intimate ambience of this restaurant and the delicious food which was attractively presented, made our dining experience and enjoyable one. Just one minor irritation. The seating was too low for older patrons, where there was difficulty in arising from the table.
Food was nicely served-but the taste was okeyish; it would be better if the main course would be served hot not lukewarm... I was informed that: "We have noted on your dining reservation tonight and will arrange a nice surprise cake for your husband special day" we finished our dinner...there was no sign of surprise cake...after my complains -the cake arrived...
I understand the So Sofitel has unique interior design, but the furniture does need to be functional. The height of the table and chair were disproportionate to one another. Either the table needed to be higher or the chair needed to be lower. I can't remember what the chair looked like exactly but it was a solid color, not the striped chair was opposite me. My thighs and knees almost touched the table. Such a situation makes for an awkward dining experience and one that is hard on the spine.
We enjoyed delicious dinners and breakfasts at this restaurant. There range of flavours, tastes, textures and colour gave a harmony of flavour. And the plate presentation high lighted each course. We tried new foods, and experienced old favourites presented in a new way. All All staff are friendly and courteous, the service provided is excellent. Definitely a restaurant to try n
Service staff (a Korean lady) was very courteous and served with her heart.
Overall our luncheon experience is still pleasant.. Quite ideal for business quick luncheon. rate service as average, as few service crewa were very attention while majority are not.. PS: not too lucky as a part of my serving of panfried seabass was uncooked.
The service staff were not attentive to guests present. Have great difficulty to get any help for ordering and even asking for invoice. Drink order taken but no one was there to follow up. All service staff seem busy walking around but they are not looking at guests. Restaurant was not full house that night.

Lovely service and excellent food. However, kids menu was a bit pricey and portions very small for my two boys. Excellent decor and atmosphere.
