About Wyatt and Jones
We are an independent, family run, restaurant & bar situated under the historic York Gate, with views of Viking Bay, Broadstairs.
Our menus change with the seasons and our produce is sourced locally. We have an extensive list of Kentish juices, beers, ciders and wines and only use local fishermen and butchers. When lobster is in season it’s caught half a mile away and delivered straight from the boat to our door. We bake our own breads, smoke our own fish and butcher our meats.
We work closely with Master of Wine Clive Barlow on our wine list to ensure our selection is from independent importers and producers. Our list is made up of wines from smaller, quality-focussed growers and winemakers. As well as wines from Kent and Sussex, there are plenty to choose from the Classic regions of Europe such as Burgundy and Bordeaux, Rioja and Piedmonte and you will come across great finds from Austria, Portugal, Spain and Germany.
Best Sunday roast
The food was beautifully cooked and everything from the bread to the balsamic vinegar was great quality. It was good of the chef to take time to come over to our table to let us know his recipe for cooking the beetroot.
Exquisite food, friendly service, great wine, perfect atmosphere, worth the trip from london alone.
Breakfast is out of this world such good quality food always on top of its game
Below expectations given the Michelin status
Always a joy to eat here at this wonderful restaurant, the chef uses local produce with great effect
Wow out standing a gem in the heart of Briadstairs first class all the way great food great service great views
I couldn’t add anything - just wonderful as always! X
Sadly we live too far away to eat at W & J frequently but it's definitely the highlight of any visit to Broadstairs.
Fantastic lunch. Great food and service.
Staff are very enthusiastic, food are lovely and presentation is good. Among the restaurants that we've been in broadstairs, wyatt and Jones are the most presentable and clean. It's in a great location too.
Great meal full of flavour and well presented as usual . With two friends who had never eaten here before and they were very impressed with the service and the food
My wife and I enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast on my birthday at Wyatt and Jones. Both starters and main courses were of the highest quality, the service was friendly and efficient, and they couldn't have been more accommodating with my dietry requirements. We shall return!
Amazing food, very reasonably priced. Would definitely return.
A real favourite place to eat.
Very friendly service and an excellent meal
Sat by kitchen really great atmosphere and excellent food. Very friendly and helpful staff
Friendly knowledgable service, beautiful space and really delicious food and drinks. Thank you thank you x
Great birthday meal!
Very enjoyable made more so by a beautiful day in Broadstairs. The only negative (if you can a=call it such) was that we had a great view across the bay but the sun was blinding and the the large windows made it a mini greenhouse where we were. Staff opened the door but maybe if this is a common problem then a blind that could roll down a little??
Great breakfast, as always. I made a mistake when ordering my youngest sons meal (forgot to change eggs to scrambled) but the waiter overheard me apologise to my son, and offered to change his eggs. Such a small thing, but really made my sons day. Thank you!
We have eaten here regularly since opening. Its quality from start to finish/ but/ get more english ciders preferably kent!
Really good food and service
We had a lovely evening at this restaurant, excellent food and memorable location: a highlight of our first visit to Broadstairs.
