Booked a table of 8 for a birthday lunch and couldn't be happier. The restaurant had crayons out for the 5 children, the food and service was great and they were most accommodating when we asked to bring our own cake. Definitely recommend this restaurant for a group booking.
we enjoyed our night overall , Food really good , nice atmosphere allows us to talk to each other. Only issue was service was sometimes slow , hard to find a person to order drinks , and it was not that busy so no excuse , there should be someone on the floor at all times even if its just to get someone to take an order
There was one young lady working on the floor, serving food, drinks, cleaning tables and occasionally other members of staff helped out when possible as probably were working in the kitchen, bar, restaurant or Christmas party night. The young lady was excellent but under to much pressure as staff seemed to be deployed else where. She composed herself so well under such pressure. The service at the bar was extremely slow also. It is such a shame as the food was great, DJ entertaining, and lovely venue which probably convinced us to stay on. Unless speed of service improved I probably would not return.
Was very happy with everything during my visit. Food was very good!
Food was delicious. Service was good. Somewhat of a noisy atmosphere, being that there was a tour group of about 50 people there during our dining experience. Prices were quite reasonable and food portions were just right.
Received an email confirming my booking for 20 people on 12th June at 19:45. Never made a booking, contacted email address on email to inform them of this and was ignored and have now received an email asking for my feedback. You don't need to be a Sherlock to figure out it isn't going to be very positive. Bloody atrocious set up.
The table hadn't been marked as reserved, but there were enough empty tables so it wasn't an issue. Food was delicious, and great value. Paying was a bit of an effort, I had to go and find staff to get the bill.
Disappointed with menu, by 3 pm there was no roast dinner option the beef was gone, and there was no toilet roll in either of the ladies toilets , on Mother's Day of all days! You'd think there would be more preparations made for a busy day.. Chilli on the nachos tasted sweet, nothing like any chilli I've ever made or eaten for that matter... Overall very disappointing.
Good quality food in a relaxed environment - what more could you want?!
The service was extremely poor, we asked on numerous occasions for dessert menu and when eventually someone came to our table told us kitchen was closed, very disappointing and would not be rushing back
Great food; great service, great music - and good craic! Only to be recommended!
Excellent food and service
Great modern gastropub with excellent food, good music and laid back atmosphere.
