About Wiveton Hall Cafe
Wiveton Hall Café, which overlooks the marshes and out to sea, opened in 2007 and quickly gained a reputation for fine, wholesome food. Situated on the fruit farm, surrounded by strawberry fields and raspberry canes, the food is always seasonal which is reflected in the regularly changing menu.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch
Food was good and tasty although I felt meals were a little expensive and all seemed to be served with salads not vegetables which was kind of odd - steak, chips and copious amounts of green salad. Sea Bass, and a warm potato salad. Atmosphere was good although I felt some of the tables were a little close making us feel a bit cramped. Service was good given that they were so busy but we did have to ask for water a couple of times. Value for money was ok given the overall experience, but standing alone the meals were rather expensive for what they were and the venue.
Absolutely delicious as always, though the crab was a little smaller than usual. Excellent food and a highlight of our holiday once again.
We had a lovely day, tour first then lunch.
Beautiful food in a beautiful setting! Only improvement would be some high level sun blinds, not low enough to block the view, just enough to stop the setting sun dazzling diners.
We try to attend a pizza night once a year and it didn’t disappoint. A lovely, relaxed restaurant, perfect to bring little ones to. Pizzas are really yummy and the staff are very attentive. Keep up the good work!
Wonderful food with friendly and efficient staff
We have been here about 20 times and it’s always lovely. Pizza evenings are the best. Make sure you bring a coat so you can sit outside although blankets are provided!
The Wiveton Salad Plate was delicious; a little bit of everything. I didn't get to try the cakes, but I wish I had! The staff were all very friendly and we had a lovely lunch with the kids.
Lovely lunch at Wiveton Cafe we ate outside enjoying the lovely views. One of my favourite places to visit........ everything was great. Staff, food, service & location! Many thanks x
We saw Desmond so that was a real bonus! Thanks for a lovely lunch
A great way to start the day. We sat outside (five of us) and had a full breakfast overlooking the marshes.
Love this place but slightly disappointed with the tapas food this time round.
Sorry Wiveton but the food was not up to standard!!! The portion sizes seem to be smaller, the lamb was certainly very very expensive as it was mostly fat, it would be good if dishes arrived together so that it would be a real tapas experience. We have been patronising Wiveton for many years and last night was not good - Probably will not come to tapas night again.
Unbeatable setting and views. Convivial atmosphere and very friendly service. The food is very good. A few more veggie options would be great.
Booking was difficult
Great breakfast and walk around the gardens.
Excellent fresh food and happy staff
The staff were warm and welcoming. A beautiful evening.
£4 for a child's sandwich, that only included a sandwich, we felt was expensive. It could have come with some carrot/cucumber sticks or crisps.
Excellent food and service as ever. House salad is all you need. Just needs to be about three times the size to accommodate all the turn-ups on the day but until that happens - booking essential.
Very quick and a bit pricey for a sandwich
Lovely meal - but incredibly noisy which was a struggle as my mother is rather deaf. Otherwise a pleasant meal.
Alas no Desmond the night we visited! Lovely as ever though and perfect for children and adults alike. We had a glorious evening
