About Wiveton Hall Cafe
Wiveton Hall Café, which overlooks the marshes and out to sea, opened in 2007 and quickly gained a reputation for fine, wholesome food. Situated on the fruit farm, surrounded by strawberry fields and raspberry canes, the food is always seasonal which is reflected in the regularly changing menu.
Have had several visits back to-date location always stunning!! Staff brilliant really good ham sandwich, will see what the menu does for the season! See you later!
Lovely environment food and service.
Got there early for our reservation but no issues. Warm, welcoming, attentive friendly staff & great food. We had a few questions about the site and everyone was most informative & helpful. Well worth a visit.
Second visit in a week and on both occasions the staff and food were excellent. Such a nice family and dog friendly place. Perfect
This was our 4th visit (from out of town) as we have always liked the food at this cafe. This time was very busy (as it was the school holidays) and despite the cheery service from the waiting staff, the wait for food was just too long. We booked our table for 13.30, arrived early, ordered by 13.30 but didn’t get our food until 14.15! I wouldn’t have minded so much if the waiting staff had let us know when we ordered that there was likely to be a long wait, so that we could decide if we were prepared to wait. The food was delicious when it came however. As the cafe quietened, we decided to chance it and order puddings, but they too took an age to come. I think a bit more communication would be very helpful as it left us disappointed with our lunch.
Another lovely visit on our annual trip to Norfolk. Thank you, wonderful as always. See you next year :-)
The staff are very helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble for them.
Over four days in Norfolk we had afternoon tea, lunch, and a quick breakfast on our way home. We love that it is quirky but so efficiently run. The staff are a delight. We love it.
Very disappointed with the Lamb meatballs, with rice - not much taste. and needed a sauce- asked for some extra yoghurt and got charged for this. My wife's vegetarian dish lacked flavour too
Our last morning staying at the cottage so our final breakfast at the cafe. For the 3td morning running everything was excellent. Thank you.
Lovely to be back in the Cafe for our first visit of the season. As ever, our breakfast was delicious with friendly and attentive service. Loving the new shell-lined archways!
If you could add a vegetarian soup of the day that would be wonderful. I was hoping for the delicious asparagus soup this visit (maybe a little early in the season). The Cheshire tart was wonderful but a soup option is always welcome, only pea and ham available. Staff lovely, one of our favourite places to eat, and we will return. Thanks as always.
We had a relaxing Sunday breakfast which was a great opportunity to catch up with old friends.
Friendly staff, lovely food, great atmosphere & gorgeous views....perfect.
The food was excellent and the service was great. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.
Perfect yet again for breakfast. My husband had the toast and marmalade and the waitress kindly ensured the butter was slightly softened so it spread perfectly.
Perhaps some local shellfish on the menu but as ever a very nice experience, my favourite Wiveton salad with smoked salmon See you soon
This is a regular stop formus and we are never disappointed.
Excellent food and very much enjoyed the Wiveton salad. Will come and try breakfast soon.
A few more play facilities for young children would be appreciated
Always love coming to cafe! We miss it when it closes for the winter and look forward to the spring opening.
A firm favourite of ours when visiting North Norfolk. Absolutely love the food, atmosphere and surroundings. A must visit.
First visit for us, booking on line was easy, the cafe was a delight, food and drink good value for money, staff were very friendly and service was quick, but we were not rushed. Highly recommend it for a good place to visit.
Best celeriac soup on the planet.
