About Wiveton Bell
Welcome to the Wiveton Bell situated on the Village Green and close to the unspoilt salt marshes of the North Norfolk coastal landscape which is a listed site of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just two minutes drive or ten minutes walk from Blakeney.
Although renowned for its cuisine, the Bell is faithful to its roots as a traditional village pub where people can wander in with walking boots and dogs to enjoy good company as well as fine ales, wine and food.
We hope you will choose to visit the Wiveton Bell where our happy team of local staff look forward to getting to know you.
we all enjoyed our meal, the food was good and atmosphere good if a little noisy. We had a bit of a wait for our drinks and for our main course but overall we really ended our lunch thank you
We (eight of us) had a wonderful Sunday lunch at Wiverton Bell! We couldn't fault it, the roast beef is amazing!
Excellent quality food and good choice menu. Service was very efficient. Staff friendly.
Always a chilled relaxing atmosphere at the wiffey bell my fav😍
Special place , great atmosphere. Very good foo
Fantastic food, friendly staff and reasonably priced
It was very disappointing that despite booking five days in advance as requiring a gluten free meal, the only way to have a gluten free meal was to miss parts of the main meal out. I would expect to at least have additional veg if I am missing the cauliflower cheese for instance, or why could I not have just had plain cauliflower without the sauce? I ended up with a very empty plate when compared with my husband's. As for dessert, well again I could also have half a dessert, as I would need to miss things off the only one that could be made gluten free. Really not good enough in this day and age. I will not be returning. The waitress, though was charming.
Best roast beef and Yorkshire pudding ever.
Very good mussels and rump steak !
Visited for my wife's birthday recently. Having spent 3 days doing a lot of eating and drinking at various places, the meal we had at The Wiveton Bell was her favourite. "The trout was amazing!" It was quite quiet, so lacked a bit of atmosphere. I would have expected it to be busier on a Sunday evening.
Warm fire and candles what a lovely welcome on a cold February birthday And a fantastic birthday candle to sing to
I think if you would like 1 course off the specials you should be allowed to. Last night my father wanted the venison but was told he needed 2 courses off that menu to have it.
we always enjoy our visits to the Wiveton Bell, the food is always good & very friendly staff, the midweek winter special deals mean it's very good value too.
Warm welcome. Attentive and efficient staff. Very relaxing atmosphere. Dined on consecutive nights and loved it. Will definitely recommend and have done already. We will return. Stayed in the panelled room for 2 nights and will return when the weather is warmer to make use of the balcony for an al fresco breakfast. Thanks everyone for a lovely time.
Another great lunch. The quality is always consistent and the menu offers great seasonal choices. We love it. And thanks for making it an extra special day for my mums birthday. We'll be back again...& again. Thank you again.
We had the January special offer set menu- it was absolutely delicious and incredibly good value- and the staff were all charming- a perfect way to cheer us all up in January.
Was rather shocked to be charged £2.50 for a slice of bread to accompany the mussels. The mussels and bread were both delicious but thought the extra charge was mean spirited. No mention of charge when ordered.
Thank you for a perfect Sunday lunch - as good as I could make at home without any of the aggravation. Especially the cauliflower cheese - delicious!!
Always reliable. Good gastro pub food with convivial atmosphere. Sunday lunch was excellent and to be recommended
Excellent as always
Pleasant and friendly service. Three main courses (fish and chips) beautifully cooked, fresh and well presented. Coffee - a touch bland.
Excellent night out, amazing service and lovely food with fantastic ambience. The January deals were incredible!
It was a very cold frosty winters night we decided to go to the Wiveton Bell as we knew it would be cosy with a good fire and we were not disappointed
Warm atmosphere, friendly staff and a comfortable setting. Roaring wood fire in winter is brilliant in so many ways!
Had a nice evening
