About Wiveton Bell
Welcome to the Wiveton Bell situated on the Village Green and close to the unspoilt salt marshes of the North Norfolk coastal landscape which is a listed site of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just two minutes drive or ten minutes walk from Blakeney.
Although renowned for its cuisine, the Bell is faithful to its roots as a traditional village pub where people can wander in with walking boots and dogs to enjoy good company as well as fine ales, wine and food.
We hope you will choose to visit the Wiveton Bell where our happy team of local staff look forward to getting to know you.
Outlived all our expectations. We all agreed it was the best Sunday lunch we have experienced anywhere in Norfolk. I should include the fact that we have lived in this county for 20 years now. Well done to all the staff and be assured we will be back.
Lovely pub, service very good. Staff very atentive without being over the top. Will definitely come back!
Great food & wine with a nice atmosphere!
A bit noisy but you were full!
Nice to see Rosie back ,all as good as ever
Thank you ... we had a splendid lunch , the food was delicious and the service exceptional. By far the best place to eat on the North Norfolk Coast..
Thank you for a wonderful evening. The food was excellent as was the attentive service. We have eaten with you before either just as a couple or as a large family party and have always enjoyed everything that the Wiveton Bell has to offer, we return often ourselves, and recommend you to friends.
The seating for our party of 7 was very cramped for 4 of us. Those who had the partridge found the sauce rather bland. The mussels, gravlax and plaice were good.
I have had this happen twice now!! I didn’t book a table, I rang to tell you so and now you ask me to do a review on a meal I never had! Please take me off your mailing list now
Sunday roast was excellent except for the potatoes, which looked appetising but were overcooked (roasted and recooked somehow?) and therefore tough outer parts.
Great food excellent service good atmosphere friendly and helpful staff
We were not overly enthused by the selection on yesterday's menu as it has been much better when we've visited before, but we still enjoyed our lunch. Wouldn't hesitate in going again, and we're 90 miles away!
Food was excellent, but definitely not a place for after dinner drinks. Made to feel that we were being rushed to leave
Quite a limited lunch menu, especially when 2 options were not available and also out of Black Shuck gin!
Difficult to make alterations in a pub environmrnt but our one comment is that some of the tables are a little close together .
Fabulous food and lovely ambiance. One of our all time favourites.
All the staff were so helpful and attentive on a very busy Sunday lunchtime. Thank you so much for the takeaway main course for my 92 year old father in Cley. It was so very thoughtful and much appreciated by us all. Fiona
Great atmosphere, a packed dining room says it all👍
As always a GREAT experience at the Wivvy Bell!
Very relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and first class food.
Found pub by chance while on a short break, great service, food was of a very high standard and good value for money, a great find.
Excellent evening, thanks
As ever, excellent food and really friendly service. Can’t wait to come back next holiday in Blakeney! Thank you.
Great food and welcoming staff. A real pleasure to eat out.
We always enjoy visiting the Bell when we're in Norfolk. Along with Morston Hall and Titchwell Manor, it's on our 'must go' when we're here. Look forward to next time. Missed not seeing Rosie this visit - hope she's still there!
