About Wiveton Bell
Welcome to the Wiveton Bell situated on the Village Green and close to the unspoilt salt marshes of the North Norfolk coastal landscape which is a listed site of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just two minutes drive or ten minutes walk from Blakeney.
Although renowned for its cuisine, the Bell is faithful to its roots as a traditional village pub where people can wander in with walking boots and dogs to enjoy good company as well as fine ales, wine and food.
We hope you will choose to visit the Wiveton Bell where our happy team of local staff look forward to getting to know you.
One drink was forgotten but it wasn’t a big deal. The waitress dealt with it beautifully. A really lovely dining experience overall.
Fabulous meal! Delicious onion soup and loved the fresh interesting way you serve your dressed crab. Dog friendly too.
Had a great time.
We had a great evening. It's lovely the owners are regularly on the premises checking their customers and staff are happy. Great service, fantastic food with a wounderful combination of flavours I would not easily replicate in my own home. Best eatery in the area.
A wonderful meal in a fantastic location.
Enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch at the Bell and would highly recommend. Location great, staff excellent, food outstanding
Particularly lovely staff. Great to have cucumber water on the table. Thank you for a delicious lunch, we had a great time.
An excellent evening, great food, lovely ambience and friendly, efficient staff, thank you!
Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, amazing food. A great pub.
Great food, great service, great value and great atmosphere! A lovely dining experience. Highly recommended.
The staff were welcoming and attentive to just the right level. Our waitress could answer all of our questions and showed true customer care. Very impressed all round
The service was very slow on Saturday. We waited over an hour between starters and mains without any attention from the staff. Very disappointing as other times we’ve experienced excellent service.
The Wiverton Bell is always consistently excellent. We regularly come here for Sunday Roast and it is delicious; vegetables are seasonal and fresh. In fact all the food is locally sourced. I had the trifle which was different and delicious. It is always busy in the holidays so booking recommended and the bar area is dog friendly. We will definitely be back.
The choice of a large or small white wine spritzer would have been good £6 was a lot for one drink. Staff very friendly and helpful
Great atmosphere, service and quality of food excellent
fabulous food and atmosphere,a really good night ! next time we hope to stay with you at the Wiveton Bell :-) Phil and Sally .
A little bit disappointed tbh. Main course was not hot like warm however the quality was very good. Will come back and recommend.
First visit and really enjoyed it. Food was excellent and waiting staff friendly and efficient. Seating was uncomfortable though (we were in the conservatory and I sat on a long bench) so would bring a cushion next time to stop my back hurting.
Excellent for a friendly service. Highly recommended.
We have been visiting Wiveton Bell whenever we are in Norfolk for 2 or 3 years now. Whether for just a drink or a family meal, we have always felt welcomed and been treated as valued customers by professional and friendly management and staff. Food, drink, and service excellent.
With 5 stars across the board, what to add? Well I'll try. First the greeting was exemplary - if only more restaurants in the UK were half as good. And I must make special mention of the excellent young lady house manager who's level of attention was spot on all the way through. As for the food - the chocolate delice dish was superb, it's accompanying passion fruit and and banana sorbet just sublime. Only one one slight critisism, all five of us had the mussels that were fine, but my wife and I thought the jus was too salty, which was a pity because we love to mop it up with bread. In summary, thanks for a lovely experience and we'll definitely return soon.
We had a wonderful evening in a very enjoyable atmosphere. The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive, and service was faultless. Booking the evening before was a good idea; we would have regretted it had we not managed to get a table.
Service was quick and friendly, food was very good value for money, atmosphere was just right. I thoroughly recommend the Wiveton Belle.
