About Wiveton Bell
Welcome to the Wiveton Bell situated on the Village Green and close to the unspoilt salt marshes of the North Norfolk coastal landscape which is a listed site of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just two minutes drive or ten minutes walk from Blakeney.
Although renowned for its cuisine, the Bell is faithful to its roots as a traditional village pub where people can wander in with walking boots and dogs to enjoy good company as well as fine ales, wine and food.
We hope you will choose to visit the Wiveton Bell where our happy team of local staff look forward to getting to know you.
Great meal beautifully presented lovely service and location never ever disappointed.
It was a grey day and we were in the pub at a dark table- rather gloomy. Prefer Conservatory but we were 6 which is not easy. Service attentive and cheerful. Menu a bit limited. Food fine and Shared Ploughmans excellent ( gorgeous rare beef!) but bread was borderline stale - certainly very dry.
Very friendly service and brilliant food, as well as great ambiance. It’s a great favourite!
Very relaxed evening with excellent food and good service.
Excellent food, atmosphere and service, especially the manger in charge. Have been before and will go again.
Thanks for making a lovely relaxing dining experience where dog owners are welcome.
Very friendly staff who were knowledgeable about the food. I live in Holt and will recommend it and will come again.
Lovely atmosphere, good food & service
Fabulous setting and a great meal
Terrible experience, noise and cackling drunk people at the bar including the builders, noise and and load yelping spoiled the whole experience, going to the feathers in holt from now on !
Lovely meal , and setting and great service , thanks
We were a table of five + a large dog and a wheelchair - the staff took trouble to place us with plenty of room around us and made us comfortable. The food was excellent as was the service.
Soufflé was a ball of dough in liquid-very poor. Steak was served cold and had to be replaced. It was accompanied by a salad covered with a very sweet sauce-why? Drinks expensive- £9.50 for a medium size glass of Sauvignon Blanc?
We dine here fairly regularly and the food and service is always excellent.
Very poor service
I’m always sending people your way. It was my turn and I loved it. Friendly, fun, and informal. Thanks we will be back.
100% as always and the fact that dogs are welcome is a big 👍🏻 For me
Best Sunday lunch we’ve had for ages!
Lovely gastropub with excellent food and wonderful service. The local ales were kept in tip-top condition.
Best Sunday lunch I have had in a pub for a long time
Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service and a great meal.
Lovely Sunday lunch, with huge Yorkshire puddings. Would have loved something chocolaty for desert, but my waistline is happy you didn’t have anything this time. My sweet tooth, not so much. Great visit as always
Good service Yummy food! Dogs welcome Thoroughly enjoyable lunch
Brilliant. This is my second visit. I brought my partner along telling her "This is the best roast beef you will ever have" and you didn't disappoint. I would normally shy away from a roast in the summer but I can't resist yours! Lovely pub, bar, restaurant, friendly team, lovely welcome. You have it perfectly sorted. I will keep coming back!
Unfortunately our order was “misplaced “ we think in the kitchen and we had to wait 45minutes from finishing our starter (which was delicious) until our main course arrived.......somewhat annoying as others ate their starter and main while we sat waiting, it somewhat spoilt our evening
