Select from an exquisite wine list at affordable prices.High quality cheeses, fresh bread and cold cuts. Unwind to the rhythm of the music with live DJ spinning in the evenings.
Very generous portion n good food
Glad that Bernie the GM was accommodating to my drinks request during the Happy hour (1-for-1 from 5pm to 8pm). Decent selection of wines, coupled with the Jazz band on the Friday that I was there, it was perfect, quiet place to chill. Only had drinks, but should be back again to try their food.
Ambience was exceptional; the jazz live band in the background complemented with the mood of the place. Serving portion was substantial, and definitely value for money and coupled with Happy Hour promotions.
Food was fantastic. Prices were reasonable for such a posh restaurant. As an Accor member, it was even more value for money due to the 50% discount that we are entitled to. But even without the discount, it was well worth it. Every dish we ordered exceeded expectations, from the cataplana to the ribeye. Only issue we had was with that the waitress who took our order missed out on 1 steak when we ordered 2. We notified another waiter (couldn't get his name but he mentioned he was Indian) who efficiently arranged for the kitchen to have the steak done and it was served in less than 10 minutes. He also gave us a complimentary green-tea tart which was very good. This wasn't on their dessert menu but it should be. The restaurant manager was also thoughtful. My friend had brought her baby out for a walk and he offered to keep her food warm while she was away. Overall, fantastic service and food. Will definitely be back, with or without discount.
We ordered 2 starters for the 3 of us. It took almost 20 mins for it to be served and we were wondering why bec it was just hummus and a grilled eggplant and both were really small Portions. It was tasty but again not much in terms of quantity. Our mains were a pasta dish , and 2 seafood dishes which I cannot remember the names of . It took a really Long time for the food to arrive And to make matters worse all 3 mains were served at different times so by the time the last person got her food , mine which was served first was stone cold . It was very tasty unfortunately cold. Many restaurants fail to realise the importance of serving all the food together.Again the amount of seafood I got on my plate didn’t justify the price. would however go back to try the other offerings on the menu but the service has got to improve.
Make music performance a regular feature and, if possible, allow a small place to dance.
Overall dining experience was great!
First visit to Winestone with friends to celebrate birthdays. Nice ambiance for conversations & chillax. Great service and yummy dishes, to name a few... Mixed cold cut / cheese platter, Scallops with Chorizo ham and White bait. We also enjoyed a good selection of wines at happy hour prices ! Will be back soon =)
Unpleasant experience here. Staff showing double standard. Manage to get a reservation to watch the world cup with my girlfriend. Upon reaching, we were told the restaurant does not take reservation for world cup and it is free sitting. Nevertheless, the staff showed us to a table. Right before the game starts, another staff asked if we could sit at another table because another guest came in earlier and apparently booked a table. At the first place if the restaurant does not take in reservation for world cup, you should not allow the system to take in reservation. And on top of it, we were told it is the policy we each must order a drink which we respected and did. However, there were couple of guests who did not order any drink. Overall the experience here was bad. Bad service and double standard.
Other than food choices are limited and price for meat are on a high side. Services and restaurant ambience is very good.
Quiet atmosphere suitable for private group or intimate dining. Waitress are attentive and the food taste heavenly good!
Reserved for dinner of 4pax on 25 June, Mon. Morever, brought a guest from out of town along whom have never been to Winestone. I must say that there are tremendous areas that Winestone urgently and immediately needs to improve on. Upon seated, we were then given the menu and when start to order, most of the items in the menu (from food to wine selection) were unavailable. We ended up asking the wait staff to tell us what's left from the menu that we can order instead. There were only 2 wait staff working on that night and the restaurant was almost full. I believe that the management must have underestimate and never expected on the number of crowd that will be dining on a regular weekday. We waited for our main course to be served after 1 hr and half later. Overall, it was a bad experience. Truthfully, it is hard to recommend Winestone to others as it has created disappointment to our group that night. Do take this concrete feedback seriously. The atmosphere is the old thing that can be given 3 stars and not for the rest.
The choice of cheeses and ham was excellent Roast beef and accompanying sauce was simply superb
We were not expecting food to be served buffet style at the price. The food and wine pairing could be better timed with service at table. Cheese served was good. The program indicated a lucky draw at the end of dinner - this did not take place and there was no announcement as well for the change of program.
When I make reservations have request something. unfortunately did not happen at all.
Lovely meal in a beautiful setting. Wish there was more of a crowd!
All the ladies were very complimentary with the venue, service was brilliant and the food as delicious as I remembered before, tell chef everyone really enjoyed the flavours & quality of the foods.
I was really surprised. Friends and I had the great value 3 course set lunch for $35. The starter or scallops with chirizo and smashed peas was tasty. The main course of beef fillet with porcini mushroom sauce, was perfectly cooked to medium rare! The $62 bottle of Burgundy was well priced and easy to drink. All in all a fabulous meal and very attentative staff. I like that the restaurant has natural light. I also appreciate getting a parking coupon. I am surprised that this restaurant was not chock a block full! I for sure will be back ASAP! (my only complaint is that the chairs are too deep - but that is in the hands of the decorating peeps....)
Nice food and great service!
Thank you to the entire Winestone staff! It has been a most fantastic time we had and we will definitely be returning for another one!
The dining experience is marred by wrong email confirmation of reservation following phone confirmation, to not allocating the table as suggested, to staff's lack of domain knowledge of menu, to promptness of service to sequencing of order of food items served. Saving grace was the food which was well prepared.
