Too little staff on

We have eaten at windows many times and always been happy with everything. Unfortunately this time our main meal , the seafood for two was very poor . All the seafood was dry and overcooked making it a disappointing dish all round
An exceptional buffet dinner in great surroundings

Our waiter Oswald was very pleasant and attentive during our meal and also the following day with breakfast
We returned to Windows restaurant because we celebrated Bastille night a few years ago. It was fabulous and we sat at a table with strangers who were very entertaining. We were all Francophiles. Unforgettable.

Food at the buffet was ordinary. Did not taste anything special. I've been at better buffets for cheaper, so it was disappointing. The quality of the desserts on the other hand was exquisite. Their seafood section was nice too. But the hot food and salads weren't that great. We also had a disappointing experience at the start. We made a booking for 7.30pm, but due to a sick baby and their restricted parkings (had to search for 15 mins), we were 40 Mins late. Upon arrival, we were told that we only have 45 mins to eat as the buffet closes at 9. Nowhere on the website, on my booking confirmation or on the phone with "Nicole" was I told that the buffet closes at 9. The website only mentions: booking from 5pm to 9pm (have a screenshot of that). This doesn't explicitly mean that the buffet closes at 9! To me, it means that you take bookings up to 9pm.. Upon complaining to Nicole who was the person who took my payment over the phone, she was unhelpful and rude! She insisted that she told me on the phone that the buffet closes at 9pm. Unfortunately for her, I have a phone recording of the conversation with her as proof that this was never communicated. I asked Nicole why did they accept bookings up to 8.30pm initially if the buffet closes at 9??? She simply gave an explanation that all those who booked at 8pm onwards got a call to come earlier. I then asked why didn't I receive a call???? When coming with a baby, you can always expect that there might be some delay or that we might need more than 1.5 hours at the buffet to eat considering the mother also needs to feed the baby and make them sleep before she can eat! But Nicole treated us with the utmost lack of care and was so unapologetic.. She treated me as a liar by insisting she told us the buffet closes at 9 (which she didn't as I have the recording). When I asked if we could have more time at the buffet due to the unexpected sickness, she showed no compassion and said the buffet strictly closes at 9 and wouldn't make any exceptions.. However, it seemed like there were other people late, so in the end the buffet stayed open until 9.30pm. Had Nicole told me that they would try to leave the buffet open until 9.30 due to the unfortunate circumstances, I would have felt better and tried to enjoy the food. But instead, she insisted that the buffet closes at 9, and made us rush to eat our food. I hope her manager sees this and gives her some training on how to deal with customer complaints! To top it off, no one came to serve us our champagne or water. We were already eating for 15 mins, until I could no longer wait and had to call a waitress to ask water. She also served us our champagne (which she only served half way). To my knowledge, a champagne glass is served full! But we didn't complain as the champagne was cheap quality anyway. In the end, our New Years Eve was spoiled as we had to rush and eat super fast in order to get the food before they closed. Couldn't even enjoy anything as we had to swallow the food quickly while still feeding the poor sick baby! We didn't complain with a manager on the night as we just wanted to get out of there and not spoil our night any further, but I will surely not be back and I don't recommend people to go there. Had we received good customer service from Nicole, you perhaps would have had more stars from me. But her attitude and rudeness ruined my night!
hard to find a waitress at busy time
We ate here on New Years Eve. Service was great at the start. Very attentive and polite. Plenty of food choices. Not all dishes were high quality, but most were delicious. The sweets were the highlight of the night. Again, lots of choices and what we ate were very nice. As the restaurant got busier, the service was not as attentive. More staff were needed to cope with the large amount of diners. Overall, My family had a nice evening

best christmas lunch ever
Food is amazing can not fault a thing if I could recommend anything maybe more variety on breakfast pancakes waffles etc for the kids.
The teams greeting and servicing our table were very attentive to our needs. The buffet offered a good variety / selection and was well stocked. All of this added to our positive dining experience.
We were very disappointed that the Oysters run out. We did not arrive very late but still the staffs told us that they don’t have Oysters to bring out. It’s one of the highlight while we availed the seafood buffet. The staffs should’ve prepared more so this will not happen again in the future.
Christmas dinner was superb, a huge shout out to Clement and the team for making us feel welcome. The selection of food was spot on, not to mention the large variety of desserts
Christmas dinner was fantastic. Jiargo( I hope I got it right) was the best waiter. He was so attentive. Will definitely do it again next year. The food selection was massive and the atmosphere was so festive. Well done team.
