About Windjammers Restaurant
Seafood Buffet lunch and dinner 7 days a week
Ala carte menu available for lunch and dinner
Full buffet breakfast available 7 days a week
Delightful “Pop Up” restaurant set up to replace Windjammers during COVID-19 crisis. Thoroughly enjoyed the Barramundi that was perfectly cooked. Guest enjoyed the beef. Sorry there was no room left to try the dessert menu.
Never had a bad meal here, food is always fresh and beautifully presented and the staff are very friendly and welcoming
staff wore masks which was great and we felt safe to eat in these uncertain times
Staff are always pleasant and helpful and make dining an enjoyable experience
There were problems with the internet. It would not connect. The front desk tried to help to no avail. Apart from the internet, another fantastic few days, we will be back
The wait staff was extremely professional and made us feel comfortable with all the COVID precautions.
Loved the food and friendly service, Arii's pop up restaurant should be better advertised, we would have been there more often and earlier had we known about it. A few online photos and info would help.
Awesome meal and service. The staff were first class and the food was better than the meal we had recently at the Lagoon Restaurant.
Even though the restaurant has moved and was now a pop up restaurant it was still a spectacular ocean view. The service was friendly and professional. The food was excellent.
On two consecutive mornings the orders were incomplete, the coffee cold and the service incredibly slow. Things like breakfast cereal coming after the hot meals. Coffee cups with no saucers, sugar or spoons. It was incredibly poor quality and despite COVID-19 restrictions could have been a lot better. Staff were nice, however not once did an order arrive in a timely fashion or complete. Worst Novotel restaurant experience ever and I have stayed at many.
We dined at Arii's Kitchen The staff were amazing - from the booking to paying the bill at the end they offered great service.
Hi Guys, We booked and arrived at Arri’s on time. We were given menus but not one person came to take our order. Leave that aside. We didn’t get water after waiting for over 25 minutes, and no your restaurant wasn’t busy. Your restaurant was poorly run with staff that haven’t been trained properly. After waiting for 1/2 hour we walked out, and your staff didn’t even apologise.
Problems with our booking, seated in front of an open door in the middle of winter, mistimed and incorrect meals (2 in our party were eating for some time before the last meal was served and that meal was wrong). So disappointing!
I booked online but wasn’t told that the actual restaurant was closed and they only had a pop up restaurant with very limited menu and absolutely no atmosphere
We were sat right in front of the doorway to the deck - not sure why you’d place a table there when the room was reasonably sparse even with social distancing rules still no need for that. My poached eggs were cold and more like a boiled egg as yellows were overcooked. Not really a pleasant breakfast can’t wait for the real windjammers you reopen. This pop up upstairs in function rooms really doesn’t cut it.
Food and staff were wonderful the atmosphere not so great but it was in an event room not an actual restaurant due to renovations or COVID closure so not much you can do about that.
Looking forward to the result at the end of renovations 😊
I’m really glad we were able to use the Level 4 area to have breakfast but I’m looking forward to having the renovations completed 😁
Outstanding value for money, exceptional staff, amazing service from the time I booked my son's 21st birthday lunch until the day. Thank you for making his day so memorable. Cannot recommend highly enough!
Food was bland and boring. Menu very limited. Understand that due to Covid/ renovations that there would be some differences however, the food was well below average. The ravioli tasted like what you would get from the supermarket and all the food needed extra salt. Would not dine here again. The pop up “restaurant” was a tired function room with some tables with white table cloths on them. Not sure you could even call it a restaurant. We waited ages to get some water which we didn’t mind as we weren’t in a hurry but could see other tables getting frustrated. Overall, pretty disappointed as the other Novotel experiences we have had have been quite positive.
We ordered the fresh prawns, they were black on the belly never seen that before, chef said they SHOULD be ok! Asked to have them change no problems. There were 8 people in the restaurant staff were friendly but after a 3 hour lunch our plates, dishes etc were still sitting infront of us.
The meals, lunch and breakfast, were great. We miss the buffet meals and this is the first time we have had al-a-cart meals...BUT..your wines are very expensive... Att Management: As an ACCOR member I was very disappointed that the drink vouchers would not be provided because of the current climate, yet it was ok for the Hotel to to charge me for drinks...I will follow up with ACCOR Hotel management. Thanks, Bruce
We feel you did an amazing job during these restrictions the staff were amazing food was great and we had a really nice night for our anniversary
Well done to reopen and be able to provide quality food. The prawns were fresh and packed with flavour, the lamb was yum as was the Cod. We saved the best till last with that red velvet cake. The COVID processes were unobtrusive and the staff were wonderful.
