About Plymouth - Royal William Yard
A small collection of restaurants, serving freshly prepared food - with one simple aim; to serve great food delivered by friendly staff in a relaxed, homely environment. Whether you choose from the grill section, stone-baked pizza or our freshly prepared pastas, our passion for high quality dishes is the main focus across all of our restaurants.
Great, just very loud music for a restaurant meaning I could barely hear across the table and began to get a headache
Staff we lovely and friendly, always happy to help. Food was out in good time. Would go back and recommend to friends.
I won a competition for a meal for two and it was great three course meal and drink - thank you!
Our waitress seemed rather new and inexperienced which we didn’t mind, however she was constantly having to go ask questions to other staff members. Also, my husband had to wait 10 minutes after the rest of us received our deserts for his. One of the managers who served us was also slightly rude, she had short hair. We love wildwood and will keep returning when hopefully the service will be as good as it normally is. The food is lovely, and lovely cocktails.
Have been to wildwood on several occasions before both at Royal William Yard and at other venues - we visited in Valentine's day and I would say our experience was good but as it was a very busy evening probably not as pleasant as on previous occasions. The team were very welcoming and pleasant food lively.
Value for money. Valentines meal.fish was good
Really great evening , food prepared in good time and everyone enjoyed it. Great service & atmosphere!
Staff are always helpfull and pleasant. Food tasty and served well.
This was my first time eating at Wildwood and it was lovely. Being coeliac, I had the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had (it was normal size and delicious!) and a lovely dessert. Will definitely recommend and visit again soon.
Fantastic service, great food and a beautiful building.
This was our second visit to Wildwood. Can’t fault the food, service or venue. Service is particularly good. We shall certainly visit again.
Great place to eat, food was lovely. There was an issue with some noise from a burst pipe but the manager gave a discount. Great service. I would definitely recommend.
A bit taken back by the service charge at £22.00. The staff were very attentive etc so no complaints. The venue was FREEZING! It was like minus 2 outside and we all felt it even though the pizza oven and burners were blazing. The room next to the toilets was really warm and cosy which didn't make sense. Unfortunately there was a water leak so there was really loud drilling in the background. Sorry to sound drippy but I ended up with a massive headache it was so loud. I'm no food critic bit please can the food be served on warm plates it makes all the difference. I found myself eating the spaghetti bolognese really quickly because it was going cold within minutes. We all has a really good time and the staff were great! Everyone enjoyed the food though.
A nice evening made even better by the wonderful manageress and staff you have at this branch.
While food was excellent service was disorganised. No continuity of waitress/waiter
Really lovely meal in great surroundings and with polite, attentive service.I've never been disappointed by this restaurant, and last evening was the best ever!
Excellent service, great choice of food in a beautiful setting.
Gorgeous food and really helpful and attentive staff who have great advice on meal and drink choices!
Lovely food reasonable prices
Really lovely atmosphere
Staff were very helpful, we asked for some pieces of cucumber for our 8 month old daughter and they brought over a bowl for her.
A lovely location, good food and attentive service. The only criticism is that drinks prices are a little on the pricey side for a party!
Food could be improved. My daughter did not enjoy her vegan calzone pizza (too much cheese, not enough vegetables, she did not like the taste at all) but to be fair the staff were very understanding and replaced her dish with vegan spaghetti. My Mum and I both had the baby back ribs. They are very tender but lacking in sauce and the fries are good, but the way they are presented could so easily be improved with the addition of a small side salad, small pot of coleslaw or both. The music was a little loud for conversation especially so early in the evening. We have been to Wildwood in Llandudno earlier this year and really enjoyed the food, so much so that we ate there on 2 consecutive evenings. Why was this experience was so different?
It’s always lovely here and the staff are really lovely
