The food was really nice, although the deserts looked a little shop bought for the price. They were still nice though. I just felt the were expensive for what they were. The atmosphere was lovely, but it was very cold. I had to eat with my wet jacket on. We were in a booth near the back, so guessing those near the door must have been very cold.

I think the courgette rolls on the sharing platters should have been served hot. The sea bass was lovely, along with the chocolate brownie. Overall an enjoyable Christmas meal .

A great evening with really good food. We had the Christmas three course menu and all had something different and each course was well presented and tasted delicious. I have visited twice before and had really good food both times. With the same great service.

I took 8 of my staff here for our Xmas party, and we were all disappointed by the quality of the food. Bar the desserts, each one of us felt the starters and the mains were extremely poor and not one plate was finished. We also felt like we were imposing on the staff who were obviously very busy but rude when we requested another drinks order. Needless to say, we left promptly and will not be returning here again.

The food was lovely, however on arrival we was greeted by a rude guy at the front of the house who made us feel very uncomfortable before we had even sat down. We were 5 minutes late due to the traffic with it being Christmas, but we did have to wait another 5 minutes to be served as there were a few people in front of us, so by the time we got served to be seated we were 10 minutes late. We did apologise, but he was rude to us, said we was very late and that we should have phoned and now he didn't think he could give us our table. We explained again why we were late, but he still gave us an attitude as though we were naughty Children being late for dinner. We said we would go elsewhere if there were an issue but he soon changed his mind, and miraculously he found a table for us. The food and waiter server couldn't be faulted, but we didn't enjoy it as we sat there with zero festive cheer after the way the guy had greeted the 3 of us. We were actually only 5 minutes late as the other 5 minutes we were waiting behind other people to be served, there was either a table for us, or there wasn't, and as there was a table available, then we shouldn't have been spoken to like we had. It is common for restaurants to hold tables for 15 minutes before giving them away and 90% of the time customers usually have to wait even longer to be seated. Overall we won't be returning.

The system was poor. We had prebooked and all the prices were different, also 2 of the options from the menu were removed and we were not told about it. Also, we were rushed toward the end as the next booking which we knew nothing about arrived and we were asked to hurry up so they could turn the table.

We were very disappointed with the quality of the food. The majority of it was served cold and the turkey dinner was swimming in watery gravy with cold, hard vegetables. The Wildwood burger had stuffing on it that was rock hard and inedible The desserts and starters however were absolutely delicious

Hi there, having enjoyed visiting your establishment on a number of occasions, I have to say I was left feeling a little disappointed this visit, and it’s left me questioning whether we’ll bother again. We typically enjoy the mix of pasta, pizza & grills as it gives us the variety we like and tend to come on special occasions- this visit being to celebrate my daughters 15th birthday. My wife ordered her usual Halloumi and mushroom burger, but when it came it had a single very small slice of the Halloumi on it. We were very surprised on the basis that all the other dishes were of a decent size portion (I’d go as far to say massive in the case of the calzone), so I decided to ask if there had been a mistake especially at £10+. Now I personally hate confrontation, I just like good value and customer service without having to demand it - so I plucked the courage up to ask the waitress, bringing it to her attention. She seemed a little taken back at the question, and said something about portions being based on weight, not really convincing in her conviction, and then offered to take it back to go and get some added, which we could tell she didn’t want to do really - so my wife interjected, keen to end the awkwardness and said don’t worry, if this is the size it usually is, we’ll accept it -she didn’t want to break up the meal whilst waiting for a replacement and we agreed to carry on. The waitress left and went back to other things at the bar - and we ate. But I honestly felt slightly let down at this stage - I had in mind that the waitress might sense we were unsatisfied, not strongly complaining, but clearly not happy and might pop over with some extra fries or some other gesture to make up for it, which would have been a massive save. But no, and in fact she didn’t come back - instead sending over another waiter later to collect plates and ask about deserts - which feeling left short changed we opted to say no and go elsewhere for further drinks and deserts in a passive aggressive type way. To top it off the waiter brought the bill, offered to bring the card machine and then didn’t come back to the table with it, instead sitting on his iPad at the bar for 10 minutes - clearly doing something more exciting like web browsing or playing a game. And I had to take my bill up and pay the manager- who was pleasant enough but again I decided not to make a scene and left feeling empty from the experience, leaving no tip and not having spent the further £40+ we took elsewhere. The restaurant was pretty empty with 5 tables being served by 5 staff on (3 front - 2 kitchen), by way of context. Now I appreciate this is pretty small in terms of issues, but it’s put us off and I thought you should know as you might want to get some focus here.
