We have been loyal clients for several years now and regularly visiting Ely and Newmarket We always make use of your special offers Over our last few visits the offers webpage is not working (via iphone) and it is hard to get the page to work. Tonight (7th of Nov 2018) I finally managed to get the page to work though no email was received with your offer. We tried multiple times using other email addresses Sadly none worked. After our meal we explained it to the manager trusting we will still get our discount honoured. Sadly this was refused. I feel this is not ethical getting loyal clients back in your door with a carrot only to take it away (after the food is ordered) Your responce to this feedback will surely determine if we will visit Wildwood ever again. UPDATE SHORTLY AFTER I POSTED MY REVIEWS ON FACEBOOK AND GOOGLE WE DID GET THE EMAIL COME THROUGH FOR OUR DISCOUNT I WENT OVER TO THE MANAGER AND HE REFUSED TO HONOUR IT AND SAID HE CAN ONLY DO SO IF I PROVIDED THE DISCOUNT CODE BEFORE MY PAYMENT
Service was very slow, our food sat on the counter quite a few minutes before it was brought over, thankfully it wasn’t cold, dirty plates were left in front of us for roughly 15 minutes, then we weren’t asked if we wanted pudding for a further 10 minutes so we didn’t bother. Was glad I had a 50% code- wouldn’t have wanted to have paid full price.
the original time of the booking was 7.40 however when we got confirmation it said 6pm. We tried to call to confirm the booking but no one answered. We called 5 times and the phone just rang. So on arrival at 7.40 we were told we were too late for the table as it was booked for 6. We explained that we tried to call to confirm but no answer. We were told the phone lines had been down for 5 days. Anyway they found a table for us and sat us down. Service was half hearted, the girl serving us didn’t seem interested and we felt like she didnt want to be there! After we had our mains we were just forgotten about and left, despite wanting deserts and coffees. This has happened to me before at the same restaurant. Once you’ve got your mains they ignore you. We won’t be returning.

We were received with a smile by the Manager and shown to a nice booth. The lady that served us hardly smiled the whole evening we were there. The value and quality of food was good however this is the 2nd occasion of 4 visits where the service has been poor. It appeared to take some time for the starters and main courses to arrive, which to some extent is nice but the restaurant was quiet so goodness knows what would happen if busy. The speciality pizza of moroccan lamb was very tasty it could have done with some more meat on it though and not all plain 1" crust all the way round that is cheap. However the big disappointment was the dessert..Our child received his dessert and ate it and we still were waiting 15minutes for a sundae when I advised we just wanted the bill and don't bother with the dessert. No apology or anything just a bill without the dessert on. We like the food and menu here but the service needs some serious attention
First time dining in with Wildwoods. Not overall impressed with the service staff, had 3 different member of staff serving us. Bill included the wrong selection and size of beer and our left over food was thrown away despite the fact we said to the staff to keep it. Poor English communication with a member of staff.
We came for our daughters 8th birthday, there were 7 children 2 adults, they waiter was friendly and helpful, the food was great and everyone enjoyed their meal.

Somewhat busy but didn’t seem like there were many staff. Took ages to get noticed for anything and the young lady waitress looked very worn out due to the understaffing. My burger was very soggy and looked thrown together...

Good service, nice food and chilled atmosphere in good surroundings. We had a very nice family night out. Children's menu was good.

We have been here several times and really enjoyed it. However Saturday night was disappointing. We didn't receive a side or dessert that we offered. The main course of seafood rissato was over cooked causing the fish to be tough. Don't think we will visit again.
Our starters took 45 minutes to come out, a reduction in the bill was made which was welcomed. The service can be a bit slow.
We were early and quickly seated, orders taken and food was served quickly! Was disappointed with the quality of our food not as tasty as previous visits. Pizza was paper thin and hard to cut. My husband had lasagna and it was an expensive dish and was small and tasteless. This is our third visit and most disappointed visit unfortunately the food was poor quality for the price. Can not fault the staff and their service very attentive. Unfortunately we won’t be returning unless the food quality improves!
Service seemed to be rather slow, the restaurant wasn't busy when we dined at 7:30 on a Thursday evening however we waited about 15 minutes for our drinks order to arrive and then again at the end of our meal we experienced at good 10 minute delay for our coffees! We were also charged for an extra fries which we ordered but never received. Having said this the food that we did have was lovely and I would dine here again.

I found it particular impressive that where there was a delay with getting my meal that the staff actually came to let me know how long it would be and apologising for the delay.
I have eaten at Wildwood before and had a good experience, but the other night was horrible. The serving staff was unaware of and seemed confused by my request that I be seated in a chair that wasn't covered in wool, since I'm allergic to it, and the majority of the seating in the restaurant was chairs covered in wool. The hostess looks very confused when she asked me if I could sit on the row of leather seats. We were not given the water we requested, and it took 10 minutes for the drinks to come out. Mine-a raspberry Bellini- looked sloppy and was sticky on the outside. My calamari was chewy and virtually tasteless. After two rings I decided it wasn't worth it and was going to order another appetizer, but it was 20 minutes before anyone came to check on us, and when I finally got the attention of the different waitress and let her know my concerns about the poor service we received thus far, she dismissed her behavior by saying that she saw that my dining companion was still eating so she didn't want to disturb us. I told her I was unhappy with my food and wanted to order something else, well as more drinks. She said she would get a supervisor and walked away without allowing me to order another appetizer or more drinks, and we never saw that supervisor either. The next time we saw her was when she brought out the mains. My main was a rather boring goat cheese salad. We asked for more drinks, which took another 10 minutes. The Sicilian lemon tart I had for dessert was pretty good. She brought us the bill and I had stepped away from the table, and my companion was signing the credit receipt when I came back. She said that the manager had taken my appetizer off, except he hadn't, but they had already run my companions card, so we had to wait another 10 minutes to get a cash refund.
