Very chilled atmosphere, lovely food
We love Wildwood Letchworth and visit regularly. The staff are friendly and the food and drinks are great quality and well prepared. The pistachio donuts were phenomenal. We can’t wait to visit again!
Lovely lunch and great friendly service! Great value with a free kids meal!
Tasty food and friendly staff
Very good service, food excellent and good atmosphere.
Brilliant menu selection. Delicious food. Service was great, the waiter was very attentive but not obtrusive which is essentially the perfect waiter.
I was rather disappointed in visiting you. A few things was the service was slow, food took ages to come out and once we got it - it was cold, ordered a salad and it was more leaves in the bowl than anything.
Great service and Family friendly. Always a pleasure
food great, staff great , really enjoyed our visit will definitely be going again.
Unfortunately our experience was not very good. I called beforehand to ensure I would be able to eat, since I have coeliac disease, and was assured that, while some cross-contamination may occur, they do their very best to accommodate gluten-free diets. Satisfied, I went ahead and booked. Sadly, this was not the experience I had. I asked for the GF menu upon arrival, and was presented with a "non-gluten menu". I saw fries were included, which almost never happens on GF menus, so I asked the waitress if the fries were fried in separate oil to gluten-containing food. Despite repeating my question several times, she simply stared blankly down at the menu. I then asked to speak to someone else, who, again, did not answer my specific question, but simply repeated the disclaimer that, due to cooking method, cross-contamination may occur and so they cannot declare the food gluten free. A bit of advice - don't include food that is 100% definitely going to be contaminated by gluten on a GF/non-gluten menu. If you are frying food with gluten-containing food, it's definitely contaminated and unsuitable for coeliacs. Some people may follow a GF diet for a laugh, but I am certainly not one of those people. After that, I ordered a GF margherita pizza (which, I was assured, would not be cross-contaminated). We were given dessert menus, and again the waiter was not sure whether anything other than the sorbet was GF. Gluten issues aside, my fellow diner's steak was undercooked, despite asking for well done. Overall, a very disappointing meal, and frustrating experience for someone with coeliac disease. I appreciate how hard it can be to guarantee no cross contamination - indeed, it is almost impossible - but this company doesn't even bother to try. The menus need to be clearer and food that is obviously unsuitable removed from the non-gluten menu, and the staff need to be a bit more knowledgeable, or at least people who don't just stare dumbly at customers and actually attempt to find out the answer to the question asked. I strongly suggest the owners/managers look into coeliac disease and find out what an absolute pain it is to live with.
Staff coped really well with an extremely busy restaurant and the food was as superb as always.
We requested the non allergen menu on arrival and had to share one menu, my husband was given his starter with the wrong bread as he ordered off the non gluten menu and got bread with gluten.( he asked the server if it was non gluten bread when it arrived and she took itaway and changed it.)The non gluten pizzas were very nice and we would like to see more choice of toppings available. We have been there before with friends but have no lost confidence in them after our last visit.
Lovely food just had to wait a while for a friend to receive her main course.
The smoked haddock fish cakes were overwhelmed by a sea of cheese sauce. What could have been an excellent dish ended up being sickly and disappointing. The staff were all excellent.
The food is always awesome, we’ve been back many times and are never disappointed.
Very good service
Great food i love it here i dont understand why its not busier
The food was lovely from starters to dessert. Service was slightly slow but there were only 2 members of staff working the floor. I would recommend and have already recommended to friends. I will definitely be returning.
Really love this restaurant, always polite and warm atmosphere. Food is lovely and service is good even with fussy guests!
Lovely Valentine’s meal great service great food and great value for money definitely returning! 😊 Thank you
We had a lovely dinner, my only comment for improvement would be that we weren’t offered the valentines set menu; which had been advertised.
Great food and great quick service.
Good food, but service was quite slow, even when it wasn’t busy. They also didn’t reserve a table even though the booking was made nearly a month before. Other than that the food was good and it was good value for money and the atmosphere was nice.
I would like to thank Cedric and his team for making my son's birthday party so special. Cedric went above and beyond his duties and opened up the restaurant early for us so we could set everything up. He also took care of us and made sure everything ran smoothly for us on the day. The food was excellent (as always) and all the kids had lots of fun! All the parents were impressed too and are now talking about holding their kids parties here in the future. It was excellent value for money and we will be back very soon. Thank you Cedric and the Wildwood team.
Excellent food and great ambience.
