About Wildwood London - Covent Garden
A small collection of restaurants, serving freshly prepared food - with one simple aim; to serve great food delivered by friendly staff in a relaxed, homely environment. Whether you choose from the grill section, stone-baked pizza or our freshly prepared pastas, our passion for high quality dishes is the main focus across all of our restaurants.
the service was terrible, once our order was taken waiter service was very slow. main meals came quickly. Kids desserts took forever to come, there were not enough staff on the floor, big area for only two people to serve. Tables were very close together you felt squashed like sardines. Will not be going back, very disappointed.
Lovely meal and great service. Did feel a bit cold in the restaurant though.
Myself & a friend had risotto however there wasn’t much rice & another friend had lasagne which was extremely dry. We had to ask 3 times for a jug of water.
Booked a table weeks before we visited , confirmed booking day before we went . We arrived at 6ock for booking and got told I had cancelled my booking 2 hrs before ( we were in the theatre then ) . Were then told we had to wait for a table . We waited 20 mins for a table .. not happy about it . Wouldn’t recommend booking with you .. waste of time ..
Lovely restaurant and great food
Quick, Friendly & Tasty food
We love the Wildwood restaurants and were excited to attend for a reunion with old friends. The staff were very friendly and seemed particularly interested in how we felt our visit had been. Everything was wonderful the only issue we had is the food was stone cold - I didn’t feel I could raise this to the staff as I had not met with my friends for some time but I was disappointed to eat stone cold sea bass and garlic mozzarella bread. My partner also stated his was very cold. The taste was great but I would say that the food must have been waiting to be taken to our table for some time.
Perfect if going to the Royal Opera House or to see The Lion King. As we were catching up over dinner, there was no rush despite the restaurant being very busy.
This is our restaurant of choice for a before opera meal. Dependable, quick service, reasonable value for money. The vodka and limoncello cocktail was a to-be-repeated discovery.
Overall good service, food choice and food quality. Miss the courgette rigatoni pasta dish though!
The main meal arrived promptly but we had to wait a very long time for dessert - the restaurant acknowledged this before I said anything and we were happy with the offered solution. Staff appeared very busy and did not convey the 'relaxed homely environment'.
A good meal, the restaurant was very quiet (a Monday evening) and we were given plenty of space and not rushed away.
This was our 2nd visit, and once again received great food and service.
Exactly what we were looking for nice meal well served friendly atmosphere fair price
Very enjoyable lunch and excellent service.
I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. My pasta was almost inedible, and it did not feel like it was fresh. The starter Arancini was greasy and hard, and seemed like it had been deep fried in dirty oil. If this wasn’t the case then it was just poor quality. The staff felt very relaxed and casual making it feel as if you were not overall my welcome. It was my first time visiting here, and sadly I don’t think I will return. Which is a shame as it is so convinient to my work. I have had a few work colleagues who were going to go, and I had to be honest with how I felt about the restaurant. There are far nicer Italian restaurants serving good pasta in the area and for a more reasonable price
Service fantastic as always
Good value for money
Very good meal and service for my partner's birthday meal
Good food but service was a bit slow.
My mum and myself enjoyed a great lunch before our visit to the theatre.
First visit to Wildwood and was nicely surprised as not sure what to expect. Really nice food, very good value for money, friendly staff. Will definitely go back.
Lovely meal and overall enjoyed our experience. Tables were however far too close together. We were pretty much sitting with the table next to us and didn’t have any room to move our chairs about, so we had to climb in and out of our seats. Not great!!
Good casual meal out with family. The party meal deal was very good value. Nice to have a glass of wine in London that doesn't break the bank
I was looking forward to your vegan menu. Your staff was uninterested and did not promote it, we had to ask for it. Service was fairly poor but most importantly, food was pretty awful. The mushroom risotto was literally boiled rice without any seasoning and a few mushrooms on top. Spaghetti were full of chillis and lacking flavour. The broccoli and greens literally just slightly boiled, seriously? I felt like telling the chef that you can make vegetables tasty by adding seasoning, saute' them in good oil or other sauces. The waiter didn't bother to ask us if we enjoyed the meal. Also shame on you for keeping the tips, it shows in the service received. Needless to say we will not be back nor recommend.
