The meal was delicious and the waitresses were very attentive but without making us feel pressured. We were pleased to have difficulty choosing what to eat because of the range available and we WILL be back
Having tried the very tasty afternoon tea, we couldn't help but notice how nice the Sunday lunch looked. We decided to re book for a Sunday lunch 6 weeks later. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and you could tell everything was home cooked. We will definitely return soon. Great value too!
Food was really tasty, with lots of flavour and well cooked and presented. Dining room was nice and would be good if the tables weren't in rows a bit more random shame they were all square tables. Decor was nice and suited the type of restaurant it was. Liked the stag place card holders, very nice touch and all different.
My Husband said the best steak he has ever eaten Just excellent good quality food cooked to perfection. Best meal in a long rime
What a total find! Fantastic food and service in a beautiful setting!!! Booking again next week!
Absolutely love this place. This is now our 4th visit. We have had dinner with friends and also attended the 7 Course Taster Menu evening which was fantastic.
We enjoyed our wedding anniversary celebration at Wild Hart on a mid week evening. The restaurant was quiet, but we enjoyed the ambience all the same. Richard was attentive and the food was excellent.
If you are fed up with chain restaurants, give this local restaurant a try - a hidden gem with a really great menu, all freshly cooked and delicious. We tried the Venison and Rabbit and were not disappointed.
Beautifully presented food and lovely ambience. We felt very well looked after and would highly recommend.
Food delicious and good value. Service very good but slightly on the slow side between meals. Dining room upstairs, so not accessible for the disable. Beautiful situation and outlook.
We had a fantastic time. Lovely food, great place to have a family gathering. Richard and Miranda are so accommodating and really look after you. We had a surprise 70th birthday meal one week and a wedding meal a few weeks later. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be back.
Wonderful food... great service... what more could you want?!
We had a fabulous 3 course Sunday lunch for 4 people - the price was very reasonable and the food amazing. We had the roast beef, pork wellington and venison and all were very enjoyable - will definitely be back!
Everything was excellent!!
This was our second time at the restaurant, we absolutely loved it. Very tasty food, great presentation. I appreciate the GF options
A great restaurant and lovely food and owners.
Had a really lovely evening - great food and wine
We had a fabulous evening. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Looking forward to our next visit!
Lovely food, atmosphere and staff. Took mum for Mother’s Day for afternoon tea and she loved it. We all had a lovely time. We all needed the gluten free option and they were amazing and did this without hesitation. Thank you Wild hart
It was the first time I had been for food and was not dissaointed at all. Excellent attentive staff who should be applauded, food was excellent and all homemade made which is great, being a chef in London myself I know how long it takes to prepare these dishes. The only negative I would have was, as we sat upstairs, the place was far too hot. It was more like a sauna than a restaurant so maybe open a window or turn that thermostat down!
Great for Mother's Day
The restaurant itself is a great idea and the food was nice, although, not the best venison I have ever had. I was also a little disappointed that the menu was slightly different to the one advertised online. I also feel that you should invest in a ‘greeting’ member of staff, perhaps a more senior member that oversees the team. Your girls did a great job, but there seemed to be a lack of manager? Overall the food was nice and the menu was good value for money. But I do think the restaurant would work better with a member of staff overseeing all bookings, seatings and bills.
We had our first visit and I can assure you we will be back . We had a fantastic afternoon tea but the main menu looks very good. I Will be booking again.
It was a lovely restaurant, very cosy and the staff were all very attentive. The food was delicious.
Our first visit to the Wild Hart restaurant. We both had the Wild Boar scotch egg which was the best scotch egg I’ve ever had, followed by the Pheasant and Chicken Kiev which were perfectly cooked. The ambience was beautiful with all the lit candles. Highly recommend and look forward to our next visit.
