WILDE’s Executive Chef Sandeep Singh has created a menu which boasts a generous seafood selection. Choices include Whole Dover sole meunière, Lobster served with tomato jam and grilled fruits from Wrights of Marino in Dublin and a delectable seafood risotto bouillabaisse. For shellfish lovers, WILDE offers freshly-shucked Carlingford Lough oysters served three ways – mignonette, Asian-style, or with cucumber & caviar; perfectly paired with a glass of champagne from the generous drinks menu. The restaurant prides itself on its beef cuts – centre cut rump steak, hangar steak, rib eye, fillet steak, and porter house steak. Sourced by County Longford-based butcher, John Stone, the Irish beef at WILDE is grass-fed, aged for 28 days and marinated with house spice rub. Visitors to Dublin and locals looking for a great lunch spot will be thrilled to discover the Express Menu, with three-courses available for €25 until 5pm Monday to Thursday.
We had a lovely night in Wilde on Sat 13th Oct. The service is second to none. I chose the new tasting menu of pigeon breast, loin of venison and quince donut. The only criticism was the pigeon breast was a tough, otherwise the three dishes were delicious. The Sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and the wine choices were a perfect accompaniment. I particularly loved the Irish connection to all three of the wines and the blackberry desert wine was utterly fabulous. We will return.
I looked for the booking at late notice due to a family engagement. We are and have been admirers of Wilde since 2008. Patrick Mc Ardle is the right person to lead since the superb refurbishment. It is with sadness that Daniel depts soon.He was the main reason we remained as dedicated custermers during bleak times.. We wish Daniel well.
Firstly, my guest and I arrived at different times used the same name reservation but were put at two different tables. I was concerned for my friend and messaged to see where she was, her reply was at the table. We had been sitting separately for over 30 mins. When I realized and not the staff they simply laughed at us which at this point I did not find very funny as I was on a time limit away from my children as my husband was away. This did not make for a relaxing lunch. Food wasn’t bad but service was appalling all round. Won’t be in a hurry back. Am a very good customer at Balfes but Wilde will be left well enough alone.
Fabulous evening, food and ambience 2nd to none and the staff could not have been more helpful.
Very poor and rude service. Will be complaining directly to the restaurant.
Food was very tasty and service was excellent.
Very relaxed atmosphere to enjoy very good food.
Excellent food and service. Beautiful surroundings and a great buzz around the place. We're looking forward to a return visit soon.
Gorgeous food and lovely atmosphere
We enjoyed our graduation celebration at Wilde and would like to compliment the friendly attentive waiting staff .
Love Wilde and the Sidecar Bar - fab evening as always!
Veal and steak were tough, we were seated at 7pm, our mains didn't arrive until 8:15pm.
We enjoyed the open airy atmosphere and thought each course was delicious. I ordered the chopped super foods salad and the halibut which was the special that evening. My husband enjoyed the scallop starter and the tenderloin of beef. Wonderful evening.
Service was very very very slow. Took 20mins to get a menu
Not up to 5 star standard. Waiter was rushed, didn't come back during meal to ask how things where. Served me a glass of very flat prosecco from the end of a bottle, i shouldn't need to point out it was flat when paying €11 a glass. So overall really not good enough. Food was nice but i think the service let everything down. Would not eat here again, or stay after a very disappointing visit.
Absolutely fantastic experience. Exceptional service, beautiful food and wonderful ambiance.
Incredible night - thanks for facilitating such a large group with a super level of service!
Lovely afternoon gathering in Wilde, very relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended
Stephania was a delightful server
When my wife and I are visiting Dublin again we will be insuring that we visit Wilde again. The staff that looked after us are an asset to your establishment. Regards W.F.Allen
WILDE was the perfect venue for our lunch. We were made to feel so welcome and were well looked after throughout our meal. The food was delicious and the lunch combo meal offered excellent value for money. We’d love to come back!
I found the experience excellent. The restaurant was nicely decorated , light and airy with good views of the surrounding streets. The service was friendly and efficient and food was superb.I have already recommended it to friends.
My new favourite place to eat in Dublin! Food was so fresh and tasty and a fantastic extensive wine selection. Staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The decor is very stylish, a 1920s Gatsby era vibe. Buffalo Mozerella with olives, bread selection, sun dried tomatoes and the freshest pesto dip I ever tasted for starters was to die for! Fillet steak, cooked to perfection, topped with lobster tail and duck fat roasties on the side for mains. We will definitely be returning. Can’t fault this amazing restaurant. Top class 😁
We had a great night celebrating our Friends Birthday, staff & food were fabulous. We will definitely be returning
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Wilde. Our waiter was exceptional! He did his homework; knowing my husband has a several nut allergy to what country we are from. He made us feel very welcomed and accomodated all our needs. Our meals were superb. The Dover sole was the best we’ve ever had. Beautiful and lovingly cooked and presented. Its easy to tell that from the chef to the waiter there is a very high respect for the quality and origin of the food. The Westbury has been the best hotel we have ever stayed at during all our years of travel. Thank you for making this the most memorable anniversary yet.
