WILDE’s Executive Chef Sandeep Singh has created a menu which boasts a generous seafood selection. Choices include Whole Dover sole meunière, Lobster served with tomato jam and grilled fruits from Wrights of Marino in Dublin and a delectable seafood risotto bouillabaisse. For shellfish lovers, WILDE offers freshly-shucked Carlingford Lough oysters served three ways – mignonette, Asian-style, or with cucumber & caviar; perfectly paired with a glass of champagne from the generous drinks menu. The restaurant prides itself on its beef cuts – centre cut rump steak, hangar steak, rib eye, fillet steak, and porter house steak. Sourced by County Longford-based butcher, John Stone, the Irish beef at WILDE is grass-fed, aged for 28 days and marinated with house spice rub. Visitors to Dublin and locals looking for a great lunch spot will be thrilled to discover the Express Menu, with three-courses available for €25 until 5pm Monday to Thursday.
I was so excited to go to Wilde, I had seen it online a few times. Atmosphere was perfect, service was average. The food was the biggest let down. Undercooked vegetables, random raw shredded carrot with the undercooked scallops, undercooked truffle chips and an unusual mix of rice, roasted veg and beans as a side (strange dish). Completely overpriced for what we got. I’m sorry for the review, Wilde, but you need to step up your game (food wise) if you’re going to charge €200 for a 2 course meal. Not worth it at all!
It’s my favourite place to catchup with my friends. Beautiful setting, delicious food, wonderful service
Out wait staff for the meal were very attentive without being intrusive and all had wonderful bubbly personalities.
A great venue with tremendous variety and wonderful service.
Slow service total letdown. Pretty room but food just meh. Went to celebrate an anniversary and none of the waitstaff showed any indication of helping us celebrate the event. Only when the event was brought up after asking for the bill did a token piece of dessert show up albeit no flatware or dishes upon which to eat it.
Beautiful food, would only be a special occasion that i would visit again as to pricey and other smaller restaurants that provide same quality of food at a fraction of a price. Great overall
Wilde is my new favourite dining experience in Dublin. The room and atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing despite being in the centre of the hustle and bustle of south city. The food was excellent, well thought out, well matched and well prepared. The staff were very good too. Perfect setting for a romantic dinner, though there were also a few birthdays being celebrated too.
We were a group of 9 and had a wonderful night at Wilde for a 50th birthday celebration. Staff were extremely attentive which made the night feel really special. The food was fabulous! One of Dublin's hidden gems! Will be back soon.
Yesterday was a very special and happy day for our families as we welcomed home my daughter and her fiance on a month long holiday from Australia. They recently became engaged and we travelled straight to the jewellers from the airport to collect the ring. The Westbury was our obvious choice of venue to celebrate and the staff of Wilde Restaurant went out of their way to ensure that our dining experience matched the occasion. The level of service , the outstanding meal and the complimentary bottle of bubbly very generously provided to help us mark such a very special day truely made it a day to remember and talk about for a long time to come for both our families . Our sincere thanks to all the staff of Wilde Restaurant at the Westbury for a perfect evening.
A beautiful restaurant staff were excellent and very attentive we had a relaxing eve and will be back again food superb
Wilde`s has a very good atmosphere and great food.
We had high expectations of enjoying our first meal (dinner) at WILDE’s, especially as we are longstanding guests of The Westbury Hotel and rate it very highly. Deterred from dining here previously, in part by the fact that WILDE’s doesn’t feature in any major Dublin best restaurant guides, we decided to try it on the basis that the breakfasts are always very good. Unfortunately, the restaurant totally failed to deliver. The €32 sirloin steak was really tough and in parts, actually impossible to chew, forcing me to literally discard it half-chewed on the plate. A first for me. Equally, the seafood linguine was bland in flavour with unseasoned pasta and a very paltry seafood element to the dish - equating to very average chain restaurant-style food but with a substantial price tag. To cap it all, the duty restaurant manager, after receiving our feedback from service staff, offered us complimentary desserts as a “treat” from the restaurant, rather than an acknowledgement of the poor quality of the steak and an offer to deduct it from the bill. So, sadly, the poor quality of the food was matched by equally poor customer service. This was a big opportunity for the restaurant to try and turn our bad experience around and they just didn’t take it, hence we’ll continue to dine elsewhere when in Dublin as guests of The Westbury. Chapter One, Daks, The Shelbourne and The Merrion have all scored consistently highly on service and quality for us over the years. In the interests of fairness, the sides were good - the truffle and parmesan chips were amongst the best I’ve tasted, as was the apple tart dessert. Regrettably, not good enough though to offset the poor main courses we were served on the day.
Myself and my family had an amazing night for my daughters 21st birthday in wild Restaurant the Food was absolutely gorgeous and Service was amazing we had such a Relaxing and lovely night We are so happy we picked wild for her celebrations
Great dining experience!
Food absolutely amazing! The sides were incredible, the cauliflower & pomegranate!!!!! Excellent service all night long... points lost: €4.50 for an espresso? We all know the mark up on coffee! That aside, really brilliant dining experience, have already recommended to friends!
Always a wonderful experience at Wilde. Staff and service is outstanding and so family friendly! Our favourite restaurant in Dublin for a treat!
It was an amazing experience and it perfectly matched the idea I had of the place. I regret I didn't try it earlier!

Service was excellent. Would definitely recommend for both client events and personal occasions. Will be back.
