About Wharf Street Bistro
Cosy up riverside at Warkworth’s Wharf Street Bistro. The scenic drive is almost as good as the destination, decorated with a contemporary-rustic theme and run by a friendly team. Dine on classic bistro offerings from a range of cuisines, with a glass of craft beer or New Zealand wine, as you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere by the water.
Couldn't fault it. The Bistro was warm and inviting. Our waitress was a lovely girl and service was well timed. The Beef Wellington was perfectly cooked!
Everytime we have been to the Wharf street Bistro we have come away very impressed with our meals. Each of the four in our party were really pleased with their meals. It is an expensive evening out, so dont go to the Bistro expecting steak house prices. You will feel it in your pocket but your taste buds and tummy wont complain.
Feels like a big family every time we go. Love it. Cheers Will and Rosalie Robertson
The food and service was quite exceptional, thank goodness I managed to get the last portion of prawns in garlic, just before tucking into the beef Wellington - all in all it was a great meal.
Awesome food, drink. Happy to drive from Whangarei for an enjoyable night
Always a great meal, can be quiet noisy in step down area, bar area great.
Fantastic food and staff, love Steak Wednesday.
Absolutely delicious and plentiful dining experience. Highly recommend
Entree and dessert were amazing but mains disappointing Pork crackling was hard Beef Wellington was too stoggy. Pastry was not light and pastry like. ,
‘’ We had a great meal and hope to be back before too long.”
Absolutely lovely. Had a beautiful entree and a very sizable main. Left well full. Amazing staff, atmosphere and most importantly food. Highly recommend.
Amazing food and lovely restaurant, highly recommend!
First time coming and it was absolutely delicious and fantastic staff!! We will definitely be back soon! All I could suggest is an upgrade of the website. The menu in there didn’t match the actual one inside the restaurant.
Great restaurant - every time...
Great food, and service as always.
More extensive selection on wines and wines by the glass would be great. Food was superb!
First time we've been out to dinner for ages and were keen to follow Andy to Wharf Street. Couldn't fault it. Great staff, great food. Definitely will be going again.
Lovely friendly, happy, yummy experience thank you! My partner thought the wine choices were just “adequate “ It was also a bit noisy, but can’t be helped in a small intimate space Thank you for our first experience with you - recommended by Matakana friends .
Will definitely go again! Great food and people.
First night out away from the baby and it was great. We had a lovely dinner with great service. Will be recommending to friends. Thanks
Always an enjoyable meal - consistent in everything they do. Lots a variety on the menu and the kids menu is great too!
We will definately be back, was a fantastic egening as we were meeting up with some dear old friends. Everyone said how great their meals were and how pleasant the staff were .. keep it up guys you have a fabulous cosy restaurant there.
Awesome meal, lovely setting , service excellent. Definitely be visiting again soon.
We enjoyed a wonderful evening at the Wharf St Bistro. The manager is very friendly, engaging with the diners and frequently laughs with everyone. The food is delicious and we can highly recommend the Wednesday steak nights, very generous servings. One wee suggestion: a tweak to the menu every so often to keep things interesting. Cheers.
Always a pleasure to visit this business
