Would of been nice if I wasn't turned away as you have no reservation for me apparently Mr jeyson fosbury
Good afternoon with friends
Service was polite and friendly but incredibly slow. Food was overpriced for what it was. We had a large table seated uncomfortably close and it was at times impossible to eat anything being said on ours.
Excellent venue. Afternoon tea amazing. Wonderful staff. Especially Simon (manager)
Staff were happy and friendly, food was lovely, albeit a hefty price for a salad. Can’t really comment on atmosphere as we got in there at 11.30 after our i360 flight. Note : probably the best Bloody Mary I’ve tasted for a long time.
Disappointing that the menu changed from when originally booked and then the quality of what was offered was really quite bad. I had Shakshouka which is meant to be eggs baked in a spicy Middle Eastern tomato sauce. It wasn’t. I was served a bowel of heated chopped tomatoes with no flavour or proper cooking with 2 poached eggs on top! The menu is so limited for breakfast, every item should be cooked perfectly and it just wasn’t. There were grumbles all around the table.
Service was very good , friendly helpful staff. Most of meals were very good however chicken Caesar salad really shouldn’t be called the ultimate it was among worst I’ve gad. The chicken was so dry I needed mayo to swallow it and childs meal was very expensive for fishfingers and chips . Would return but choose different food
Why is the NEW menu so limited there was a lot more on it a year ago, not much choice of desserts and what there is could not be described as good
Had a fabulous meal here for my friends birthday, we had phoned ahead to let them know of the birthday and they arranged a glass of bubbles for her on arrival and a beautiful Happy Birthday dessert. The food was lovely and service was brilliant, apologies I did not catch our servers name but she was fab! Thank you and we will be back next time we are in Brighton.
The service was terrible, waited over an hour to get our food. The staff were rude and ignorant had to ask for my glass of wine 3 times before I got it! Would not go there again !!!
Great lunch, perfect location and we will be back!
Great friendly service, nice atmosphere, good food. All round great. Standard draught beer slightly overpriced. Larger selection of dishes on menu to improve
The setting is lovely and the food was nice but the service was terrible. It was almost impossible to get anyone’s attention - we waited a long time for everything - to be given menus, to be served drinks, to take our drink order. Our plates still hadn’t been cleared 45 mins after we finished. There weren’t many other people there so it wasn’t even busy. The staff were friendly when they did come over. It was Father’s Day and we had people down for the day so it was a bit of a shame the service was so poor. Good place for kids though!
Very poor, no table reserved as booked online, booked for a special birthday and nothing prepared for this, very slow service, no thought as to table positioning - two big tables together and rest of restaurant empty .. very disappointing as guests had travelled far, will not be returning and do not recommend
very nice experience
Staff were very friendly, having reserved a table we got sat by the windows over looking the sea which we really appreciated. We'll be back!
We have always loved West Beach and our kids have spent the last three years munching away on Brighton Bockers... The service IS STILL quite slow though. We were happy to enjoy a leisurely meal but did have to keep prompting staff to take orders....Food great, setting lovely. Just need some skates on!
The fish and chips were well served and tasted lovely. The tartare sauce and mushy peas had just the right amount of seasoning. We would definately return!
Food was fab. For a big group it can be esspecially hard to serve all at once, but everything was timed perfectly and tasted delicious. The location is great and the team were friendly.
Food was lovely , the staff are friendly and efficient. Best meal we had in Brighton.
Good location by the beach, good Sunday roast, staff very friendly and professional. Will come back to try the weekly menu.
The food was lovely, but it took far too long to get to us! Service was terrible, much confusion over menus. Would not recommend, I’m afraid....
Very enjoyable family Sunday lunch before a trip on the i360 - good service, decent menu, generous portions and tasty food in a pleasant environment.
one of the best Christmas team meals we have had, thank you
Good food, friendly staff, decent beer, lovely view
