Lovely setting, relaxing atmosphere. Great food good service
Service was slow but no fault of the young girl who was looking after us. Bar was slow, we asked for steak pies and received chicken pies, didn’t want to wait for them to be changed so ate them. We would like to be able to promote radisson as we live at castle Quay but unfortunately we cannot. Such a shame as great location and great building, you need to polish up on customer service and attention to detail.
Probably the worst meal I’ve ever eaten out in my life, me and my girlfriend are staying in the hotel and decided to try the restaurant so we booked a table and arrived down at the restaurant, had no one greet us and we stood in the middle of the room by the bar where what looked like a waiting area to be seated was. We waited for 10 minutes as staff wandered about not even acknowledging us. We then went to the bar and asked about seating where the bar guy told us to sit anywhere. Once we sat down we then were sat for 20 minutes until the same barman must’ve felt awkward about none of the waiting staff come over to even speak to us once sat. When we finally ordered the food the food that arrived was absolutely abysmal.. pre bought cardboard pizza base with a bit of cheap sauce and a minute bit of cheese in the middle of it. Like I said, the worst meal I’ve ever experienced out.
It was extremely disappointing. It was understaffed and those working were inexperienced with poor English. I dont think we encountered one local / english person. The staff were tense and created an uncomfortable atmosphere. We watched numerous people / couples / families struggling to get service and not sure what they were supposed to do. The food was tasteless and much more motorway service station than quality hotel. Subsequently it was over priced and we left regretting spending £80 on a very poor experience. We would not return and not recommend to others. Its disappointing as with a little thought it could (and should) be a regular and popular place for locals to visit. There is good parking, great locstion / views but its honestly a shambles To rectify, you need to: - Hire an English speaking front of house manager to meet and greet all guests snd show them to their seats and introduce their server. Look to recruit young local girls / boys as cover for busy times (weekends / bank holidays). Freshen up the kitchen / chef and use better quality ingredients. It was all so bland and tasteless.
Ignored by staff when waiting for a table we booked. Poorly made drinks. Loud obnoxious teenagers not social distancing in the slightest signing and dancing. Restaurant basically non existent. Avoid this place.
Service was a bit slow, waited for 20 mins for our first drink, it wasn't overly busy, so it did seem an unusually long wait for a drink.
Disappointed with afternoon tea as it was quite bland small cakes not very exciting.
Met a friend for a drink. Staff were fabulous.
The menu was extremely limited, quality of food was good.
Food choice and quality awful
Service was friendly but a bit slow I know this is all due the corona..Food was amazing and the coctails are to die for! bit pricey but I enjoyed every minute! thank you had a great evening.
We enjoyed our afternoon i was disappointed with having no brown bread all the sandwiches were white bread. Also the waiter did not explain to me there was no diet lemonade or slimline tonic he just served me the alternative
Lovely setting and great food thanks!
Had a table reserved, but told to go and sit anywhere outside...then got told we had to move to a different table. After 20 mins had not been given a menu...so had to ask for one. It’s a shame service is always bad...it wasn’t even busy.
I clearly mentioned about halal food but I wasn't informed the dirty nachos have meat in it. The crab burger was not something I would like to have again, it had no flavours as such. I clearly mentioned, it is my wife's birthday so if there can be some kind of decoration etc, nothing was there. I made a booking online for breakfast initially at 11:30, however breakfast finishes at 10:30. Would never go again.
