Had a great night out, if I had to be critical we felt the wait for our drinks was a bit long other wise excellent
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. Great menu. Lovely staff. Will recommend to others and definitely visit again. Thanks for a great night.
Great night, lovely waitress and amazing food will definitely be back
Fantastic evening great food and superb service
Our waitress Barbara was absolutely fantastic. Thank you.
Very slow service. We waited well over one hour to get our mains
Great tapas and kids meal here
Very friendly staff, shame the food was average with over cooked scallops and prawns. We ordered the whole fish flounder and the duck fat potatoes. The fish was well cooked but lacked seasoning and the potatoes were on the drier side. The menu had the right intentions and we were excited to eat, however the execution left us lacklustered. The service staff was very lovely however, fell short of being attentive, we waited 15 minutes for coffee and by that time our desert was melting. Place looked great and had a nice atmosphere.
We love dining at Vine. Always great, friendly service. The food has never let us down and the wine selection is great.
Waiter service abrupt and very poor. Had to ask for our drinks to be brought to our table after the entree had been served. Entree plates were not removed prior to the mains being brought out to our table. We sat and waited for the waiter after our main but he didn't return so we left.
Staff were very friendly and the food was amazing
We had the most amazing night at Vine. The food, setting and service was faultless. We can’t wait to come back!
Thanks for a great night. Wish we could take you back home with us
Amazing!!!! Beautiful food lovely waiter we will be back for sure :)

Absolutely delicious. We will be back.
We had a great night our service person Bik was fabulous, food amazing, and for the twins turning 70 a fantastic time was had thank you for making it a wonderful celebration
Family have eaten at the Vine a number of times now and are always pleased with the service and food. Enjoyed the tapas Friday night. Very busy so glad I booked.A must go to when our visitors are here for a good dinner or lunch.
Our server Raoul was great. Seemed to be waiting too many tables. Food was nice, our scallops were overcooked but all other dishes were spot on. We would recommend this restaurant and return on our next visit to Taupo.
Amazing food but service was average Having to chase services for dirnks and needed to ask for deserts menus Wait staff need to watch tables better to see if people need drinks - you would have so much more dollars spent of this was the case!
Lovely ambience. Service excellent
Ordered the seafood soup which was excessively heavy with tomato and quite bland. Certainly not like a Mediterranean soup we are familiar with. The flounder flesh could not be separated from the skin and had long fibres. It was replaced by a smaller fish which was not much better. My wife ordered the scallop as an entree and a main. The scallops in both dishes were overcooked and tough.the main dish was over shadowed by the chozo sausage. Altogether a very disappointing dinner.
We had a lovely evening . Our waitress was great with our food allergies questions. Very vibrant atmosphere
Felt forgotten at the back of the restaurant. Service was pretty poor, server leaning across to serve the person next to me. Can be avoided as there was plenty of room. Rude and abrupt service by this older gentleman. Head server was nice in the beginning but he forgot about us after our order was taken. Ice cream was sitting on the pass for 5 minutes and then it was served melted. No excuse for this. Ask the chef to redo if it’s not up to standards. Understand it was a busy night so will probably rethink dining on a Saturday in future. Food was good though.
Had a fab dinner recently at Vine - the food was excellent and the service was great, initially a bit slow and it would be good if the kitchen and bar coordinated when the plan is to wine match but after that all was great - Barbara was a star. Going back - most definately.
