Couldn’t fault the food, however the service could have been better. Waited quite a while to get somebody’s attention for another round of drinks and to pay the bill.
Always a pleasure and a great experience. Your staff, food, ambience can be relied upon to be first class. Thankyou!
Good quality food. Had a superb salmon and risotto dish. The chocolate mousse for dessert was a little sweet for me though.
Superb. Couldn’t fault the staff, nothing was too much trouble. I’ve been before but my date for the evening hadn’t and he said the spring rolls were the best he’d had. Sushi as always a massive hit. Really lovely.
Good venue for ladies who lunch, Good food, good service and well situated in town.
Fabulous family meal for my mum's 80th birthday. Great service and fantastic food. The fillet steaks were the best any of us had tasted. Highly recommended.
Interesting, varied menu and wine list. Good service and trendy modern bistro atmosphere.
Great atmosphere good quality food service was slow and it was difficult to attract a waiter to order more drinks but didn t spoil the evening.
Excellent service as always
Great atmosphere, lighting spot on, menu could do with a freshen up or some specials available.
I scored staff 4 out of 5 as they are good but not as observant or attentive as they could be. I scored 4 out of 5 for value for money as it is expensive but great quality, 2 course & bottle of house red £85 worth every penny as far as I’m concerned.
Service was first class this evening and the waiter with the beard was particularly pleasant and very nice to my daughter who was celebrating her 16th birthday.
Overall good food, although some of the sponge cake on the Afternoon Tea was a little dry. Service good and attentive but I have scored low for value for money. I think the cost of the Afternoon Tea is high for what is provided.
Very pleased with our visit, service and food excellent as always, thanks
Lovely staff, nothing is to much trouble
Service and food were fab as always! Can't come here and not have the sushi!
Absolutely gorgeous... I have eaten at The Vincent ever time I have visited Southport and stayed at the hotel and each time it has been stunning.
The communication before the night and the excellent service on the night were excellent. Well done EVERYONE
Pancakes excellent, crispy bacon on top was delicious. Friends said eggs benedict with salmon was lovely. Only suggestion: a cafetière for coffee as my black coffee came from a large jug which meant it was only lukewarm. A replacement one was provided though straight away. Great service. Would definitely recommend for a treat breakfast!
Amazing, my favourite restaurant sushi is to die for! highly recommend
The Vincent is a real gem. The innovative menu offers the customer a mix of old favourites and imaginative new dishes with one thing in common - they are all cooked to perfection and taste amazingly good. I loved the smores sharing dish.
Enjoyed the atmosphere and service was attentive without being over powering. We were having afternoon tea- sandwiches very nice and cakes acceptable but scones were dry so just as well jam & cream offered. The price for this ordinary afternoon tea, which similar can be obtained else where, is extortionate. Need to up your game on what is offered - not many tables occupied so maybe this is the problem. An outstanding hotel should be able to offer outstanding fare.
I came for afternoon tea with a group of friends. The food was a real disappointment. The sandwiches had started to go dry on the edge of the bread. The macaroon was horrible. The cakes were far too try hard...whatever happened to a delicious chocolate brownie or Victoria sponge? The scones were delicious though, so top marks for them. The service was good, attentive and polite. The members of staff I spoke to were all lovely. So, sort the food out, you’re letting the staff down! We won’t be coming back again I’m afraid as it was too much of a disappointment. Sorry
Always great food and attentive service recommended for a great night and special occasions equally
Food and service consistently fantastic!
