Our menu changes seasonally but there are some real treats that stay with us all year round including unbelievably fabulous Fish and Chips to delicious Duck Spring Rolls, Spiced Plum & Pickled Ginger. A must do has to be our famous Flaming Smores Board, a real fun way to finish your meal.
After 18:00, the V-Cafe & Sushi Bar turns into Lord Street’s top evening venue, with candles, dimmed lights, great music, a cool atmosphere and our internationally-inspired menu, it’s the place to be. You can even enjoy a drink or dine alfresco in our outdoor seating area overlooking buzzing Lord Street – Weather permitting of course!
Fabulous meal in a beautiful environment. Staff very friendly and efficient
Lovely restaurant but expensive, particularly alcohol. We came for sushi and where invited to sit at the sushi bar ( which we have always loved ) but found that sushi was made and served in the kitchen which had we known we had say at a table. Seemed a bit pointless . Otherwise a lovely evening. We had a great young guy as a waiter well was courteous, helpful and kind. Thumbs up to him most certainly
Fantastic food, cooked to perfection and the staff were brilliant, Andy the Manageress was in charge and everything ran smoothly. Thank you to all.
My steak was cooked to perfection!!
Excellent restaurant, excellent food and service as always.
Excellent experience from start to finish. The food was amazing and excellent value for money. 100% recommend.
Food was amazing and great drink menu will be back again very soon.
Service was 1st class
Really good night, unfortunately the triple cooked chips were appalling and spoiled the meal for one of our party. Far too overdone and greasy - take them off the menu.
Four of us enjoyed a superb meal nicely served by a very pleasant waitress(mollie). Would go again.
Our favourite restaurant in the NW!
Varied choice of good food Good service Pleasant atmosphere
Fantastic culinary experience for all of our group of 6
Always great service, lovely food, friendly staff.
The Vincent remains one of Southport's top venues for casual eating. They earned 2 AA Rosettes for their imaginative cooking and presentation. The staff is excellent. One minor thing would be to change the menu occasionally or adopt a daily special just to make it interesting. Apart from that you could be eating in some sophisticated avenue in the big smoke.
Great afternoon dining at the Vincent, lots of choice for quality food, great service and atmosphere
I really love the ambience in the restaurant. Haven’t been back for a while. Our order was messed up. Main courses took very long to come out anyway, plus then on top of that I was given the roast chicken dinner rather than the normal chicken from the main menu. No real apology or drinks offered. Instead we waited in total 50 mins for our main course. Not great at all. Service was really slow. Put us off to be honest. A couple were given a window seat whereas it was declined to another couple ... not not really customers fairly ?
Our first visit and restaurant was quite busy for a Thursday. Friendly staff, excellent food and nice atmosphere.
Good choice on the menu. All our meals were lovely. Desserts were fabulous. Service really good too. Friendly without being in your face.
Visited V cafe for Afternoon tea. Staff were on hand to cater to our needs. Accommodated one of our party arriving late by delaying the service until arrived. We were allocated a table for 1 hour 45mins on booking online but didn’t feel rushed. Afternoon tea catered for the Vegetarian in the group and a fabulous selection of cakes. Only criticism is we were only offered the tea and coffee included at the end of the Afternoon tea itself
Food and the staff were exceptional, I am really looking forward to returning soon.
We love to go on our date night to the Vincent. We love the food and it’s quality, the service and the atmosphere.
Food was very tasty and presentation was lovely, it was my mums 75th surprise meal, their was 20 of us including mum & dad, Our biggest gripe was they got the cake ready at the bar, right behind us, I could see the candles in the window burning and I cringed!! They didn’t even come and tell me they were bringing the cake! And there was 2 people in the toilet including Dad!! I thought the cake was a special moment, and that ruined it!! So very very poor on presenting the cake!
nice stay and lovely dinner with friends
