Great afternoon dining at the Vincent, lots of choice for quality food, great service and atmosphere
I really love the ambience in the restaurant. Haven’t been back for a while. Our order was messed up. Main courses took very long to come out anyway, plus then on top of that I was given the roast chicken dinner rather than the normal chicken from the main menu. No real apology or drinks offered. Instead we waited in total 50 mins for our main course. Not great at all. Service was really slow. Put us off to be honest. A couple were given a window seat whereas it was declined to another couple ... not not really customers fairly ?
Our first visit and restaurant was quite busy for a Thursday. Friendly staff, excellent food and nice atmosphere.
Good choice on the menu. All our meals were lovely. Desserts were fabulous. Service really good too. Friendly without being in your face.
Visited V cafe for Afternoon tea. Staff were on hand to cater to our needs. Accommodated one of our party arriving late by delaying the service until arrived. We were allocated a table for 1 hour 45mins on booking online but didn’t feel rushed. Afternoon tea catered for the Vegetarian in the group and a fabulous selection of cakes. Only criticism is we were only offered the tea and coffee included at the end of the Afternoon tea itself
Food and the staff were exceptional, I am really looking forward to returning soon.
We love to go on our date night to the Vincent. We love the food and it’s quality, the service and the atmosphere.
Food was very tasty and presentation was lovely, it was my mums 75th surprise meal, their was 20 of us including mum & dad, Our biggest gripe was they got the cake ready at the bar, right behind us, I could see the candles in the window burning and I cringed!! They didn’t even come and tell me they were bringing the cake! And there was 2 people in the toilet including Dad!! I thought the cake was a special moment, and that ruined it!! So very very poor on presenting the cake!
nice stay and lovely dinner with friends
The pressure of having to vacate the table within a certain time frame is not good
Our table wasn't ready when we arrived, it was Fathers day and very busy, which is to be expected. We were asked to go and wait in the bar upstairs - the girl serving on the bar was very unfriendly and extremely rude, when it was time to be seated no one offered to carry our drinks downstairs. The restaurant staff didn't appear to be the regular waiting on staff, and didn't go the extra mile - everything appeared to be very rushed. The Vincent has always delivered wonderful service but not this time. Food was excellent though.
Food is fantastic - hats off to the chefs. Staff were very busy but did okay keeping up with tables. Lovely evening.
Another fantastic meal! Gringo sushi just amazing!
The food and service was perfect,
Fabulous food , we had the halibut on Sunday 26th May - it was one of the best fish dishes I have ever had. Love this restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Long may you continue. 😃👍
As always we really enjoyed the Vincent. The service, food and drink where excellent. Thanks.
Wonderful birthday breakfast!
Wrong food brought to table .food delivered spread out not all together.dreadfull coffee. You can tell the ownership has changed attention to detail has gone.Overall very disappointing
Good as always
Andi and her team went to great lengths to make my birthday lunch with my girlfriends extra special. Can’t thank them enough. Will be back to V-Cafe very soon!
Always a pleasure and this venue is a staple in the Southport resturant scene, in my many experiences it’s never let me down
Very disappointing Easter Sunday Lunch for our large group of friends and family. No one enjoyed it.
All staff very courteous and attentive on the day and at breakfast the next day. I did have to ask again to ensure booking had been made but turns out wouldn’t have been a problem anyway because pretty empty at 17:30. Food very good. Nice and bright restaurant
We love the quality of the food, the service is second to none, the best in Southport. The wine list needs reviewing but that’s only my opinion and taste, the wine list could also do with showing the alcohol percentages. It’s hard to choose a wine without knowing how rich or heavy a wine is as the descriptions don’t always live up to the taste but knowing the alc % helps. We were recommended a wine that was not on the list and it was far better than the £40 Shiraz I was about to order so many thanks for that.
