About Tuk Tuk Indian Street Food
Colourful, all day dining restaurant serving small plates of Indian street food, lassis & sweets. BYOB (beer & wine only)
Delicious and good quality food presented well. Nice informal atmosphere and the service was prompt and polite. Highly recommended .
Such amazing staff and the food was all delicious. Definitely visiting again
Loved the food, I couldn't fault it. And BYOB made everything better value. The only niggles were that we had to ask for water twice before we got any, and also we didn't realise there was a drinks menu until we were looking at dessert - I would have liked a lassi if I'd known they were available! The restaurant was also very loud, which couldn't really be helped, but I wouldn't want to come here if I intended to talk a lot during the meal. I also wish the photobooth had been working!
Lovely authentic food , bustling and lively and great value for money
Really tasty Indian street food at Tuk Tuk Edinburgh. Excellent friendly service. This was our first visit. We will return.
Would definitely go back
Good menu and tasty food.
First visit but definitely won’t be my last!
A great time bringing our baby for her first Indian after we visited a few years ago on our honeymoon. Will be back every time we visit Edinburgh from Hampshire, absolutely love it!
Fabulous. Highly recommended.
Wasn't told any specials and the first two garlic nans we ordered were tiny (compared to previous visits) the third was twice the size! Won't stop me returning as the food is fantastic and you guys are great. It's constructive criticism I'll definitely recommend and be back.
Need more waiter/waitress
Great food and service. We will definitely be back!
Really enjoyed our visit. Great food, friendly and efficient service, BYOB makes it seem even better value.
Tuk tuk just keeps getting better.Simply lovely.
Considering the reviews for the restaurant I was looking forward to our visit. However I was bitterly disappointed. Massively overrated. Chicken wings were dreadful, dry and tasteless. Bombay chilli chicken was just spicy with no flavour. Samosas were ropey and the aubergine and potato dish was over cooked and the aubergine was tasteless. And there was no mention of BYOB when we booked which was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this place to an enemy!!
Great food, great atmosphere. We had a great night out as a group - thanks Tuk Tuk!
Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, we had the set menu. My table were extremely impressed with the portion size and quality of food. Would highly recommend the set menu.
Whilst you do cater for gluten free the options curry wise are very veggie...Nan never came .. had to ask twice...!curries not as good as previous visits...?yeah was ok... but ... not great... disappointing
Great food, lovely service and cosy on a cool Edinburgh night!
Great food, good location and service
This is not a place for a romantic candlelit dinner, it is however a place for great food, great value and service with clientele from all age groups with an element of hustle and bustle. I have been a couple of times and this time we made the classic mistake of ordering way too much before having to leave to catch a film at the nearby Cameo. Shame as the food was very tasty.
Chicken 69 is the best chicken in the world!
Consistently good service and quality of good. Great value too.
Thank you Elaine for your kind comments, we appreciate your 5* review! We look forward to seeing you again soon. Brandon Hoult Assistant Manager
