About Tracks and Records
Authentic Jamaican flavours and vibe
Thanks guys I had a great time and would definitely come nice vibes and friendly staff I had an amazing birthday..
staff are very friendly and service very good
Food was standard, cocktails were nice. Kitchen staffs should be wearing head cover for hygiene reason.
Excellent service and food was delicious. Will return
Thanks for treating my parents to a lovely anniversary meal complimentary cocktails!
Myself and four friends went to Tracks and Records on Saturday, 16th Feb. The restaurant was nice and spacious which was great. We ordered Jerk Platter with rice and peas. The platter came with no gravy, which we found rather bizarre, given Jamaican's love a lot of gravy on their food. We asked for gravy and were given jerk type looking source. Wasn't exactly what we expected but hey, had to do with what we had. The price is reasonable at £13.95 . I was expecting more of an authentic Jamaican taste instead it was average. I believe it definitely has potential to be a great restaurant. Good luck. Miss Bee
Great Caribbean restaurant with wonderful staff. The food came out fast and all at once.
Thought the experience was good, however, think the high prices can be reviewed. Service was very friendly and helpful overall.
Food was starters and dessert good value for mains not bit small Nice bar and decor Downstairs bar really good design
Staff was nice and the food was good had a great time
Had a great meal on Valentine’s Day staff were very polite a nice atmosphere in the restaurant enjoyed the music very rare that you hear back to back reggae in restaurant.I did get excited as me and my partner walked up to the restaurant and saw a car with avery interesting registration plate thought we were going to see the man himself! Will definitely eat here again.Big thanks to the security guy who I asked to take a picture of me and my partner as we were leaving. Nuff Love xx
I was quite disappointed with the decor around the toilet area especially, the paintwork on the doors was fading/peeling in places, which was quite surprising, considering it was only opened in sept/ oct 2018! The toilet cubicle’s could’ve been a bit more spacious, and I’ve got an athletic physique! The food I had was very tasty, my partner felt the festivals were overdone, and we both felt the food and drinks was slightly over priced, but I would honestly recommend it too family and friends for the experience and we would both try it again!
Great cocktails. Food average, need more variety. No ackee and saltfish dishes. Venue well designed.
This was my 3rd visit and my second time having the steam fish. The fish look as if it was steam in chopped tomato or tomato puree sauce, it was awful. It was nothing like the first one. Service was great, everything else was on point a part from the fish.
I looked at this as an oversight but the waitress took our orders then served my partners starter and forgot to bring out mine until I told them a few minutes later. I asked for rice and peas but served plain rice this got rectified straight away. There is a large selection of rums on the menu but the one I requested was out of stock. The staff was very apologetic but as I said I think this was more of an oversight. The staff were very friendly the speed and timing of getting the food was good apart from the minor hiccup. I definitely will be going back again as the food was on-point.
The staff are the only thing worth 5 stars. I was not impressed with the restaurant. It does not reflect Jamaica in any way. You can buy jamaican food anywhere these days more so better tasting than what I tasted. The experience was nothing to talk about, I'd say it's an average restaurant with average food. I'm disappointed, maybe I was expecting too much to begin with.
Customer service was really good! Chicken was flavoursome and soft... The best out of all Caribbean restaurants :)
The food was served cold the rice was too chewy and cocktails wasn’t the best. Very disappointed overall.
Great welcoming service that catered to my event's and VIP guests' needs. Tori, Marketing Manager and Events Manger Shakira, gave us A+ customer care. Manager Danny, was on hand to answer any question and provide support throughout the event. The bar and security staff and was courteous and accommodative. This all added value to our eperience, and I will definitely be recommending Tracks & Records.
Food is not authentic for Jamaican restaurant. The taste of real Jamaican food is not there at all. The rum is generous with the cocktails. The music could have more of a reggae vibe
The food was good, specially the meat was juicy and nice although it was missing spice. Jerk normally has more bite to it. The sides were meagre and not satisfying. Service was friendly and polite, the atmosphere was nice and friendly. The one thing I found very annoying is your booking system. It is over the top to give tel nr and email address, needing to confirm over and over again. This is not the Ivy and even them have no such system
It’s a lovely venue but more attentions needed on the food. The curried goat was too salty and the veg undercooked - some were rock hard. I’d return for drinks and the club but not for a meal.
We were seated a few mins after arrival. After waiting 15 minutes for someone to take our order, my friend had to walk over to a waitress who was waiting in front of the kitchen area, who eventually came over to take our order. The food was great and well presented. Will be back again soon.
Great food and great vibe. Value for money
Portions are too small for the price charged. Service is a little slow too
