About Toulouse Lautrec
Bringing a touch of French flair to Kennington, Toulouse Lautrec Restaurant, Piano Bar & Jazz Club is a traditional restaurant set inside a lovingly refurbished English pub. Managed by Jazz Club manager, Nolan & Head Chef, Florent, there is plenty of authentic French charm on offer served by people who love what they do. Set over three floors, the warm and inviting space is divided into a rustic ground floor restaurant, 1st floor piano bar with jazz solos & duos (Sun to Thurs - Free Entry) and 2nd floor Jazz Club, which hosts the bigger bands at weekends (payable entry).
We offer alfresco dining in the summer on our 2 terraces.
We had a wonderful meal at Toulouse Lautrec. The service was spectacular and all members of staff were extremely professional and friendly. We will definitely be planning our next visit back soon.
All at Toulouse did a fantastic job in very strange circumstances. Felt very safe and comfortable and the food, as usual, was absolutely first class.
An excellent dinner on Saturday to celebrate the ned of lockdown! Roger Liddle
Thank you so much for a lovely meal. We know times have been tough and were so excited to eat some delicious food - and we weren’t disappointed! The staff were brilliant and made us feel so welcome and also very safe. Can’t recommend highly enough!
We had a lovely time and really enjoyed it.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, we will be coming back
We enjoyed the evening, food and drink was great and service good too. Was a shame that the singer did not turn up, but we still had a good time.
We really enjoyed the food and ambiance, it was a great evening. We would come again.
1st floor piano bar/restaurant is pleasant, the staff very friendly and helpful, the food excellent. We chose the wrong club act on this occasion but have been to many excellent ones (jazz is most reliable)
Amazing food amazing vibe and atmosphere
Great food, friendly staff - would recommend.
Great food, one of the best brunchy breakfasts I've had.
Keep it up! Waiter is very sweet.
A lovely pre-show dinner before we headed to the jazz club upstairs.
I came here to see a jazz band a few weeks ago and the bar snacks were so tasty I wanted to try the main restaurant. I wasn't disappointed the lunch I had with a friend was full of flavour, nicely presented and the service friendly and attentive. I will return.
My husbands birthday treat, a lovely evening with great food
It is a nice bar, with a good French bistrot atmosphere. The food is average (we had the Valentine's menu: the orange sauce for the duck was too acidic, the cheese was bland, and the dessert overly sweet) but the cocktails are tasty. Staff was polite but it was really difficult to get hold of anyone, despite the fact that the restaurant was not full. If you're in the area it's worth stopping for a drink and a snack but I would not recommend making a trip specifically to eat at this restaurant.
Had a wonderful time, service fantastic, food superb , quite music just what I like
Always good food and service. The music in the piano bar makes for a very relaxing evening.
The Chef/Manager, Florent Regent, is a competent cook and very accommodating. We used to eat at the Lobster Pot next door which his father owned but since he retired have been going to the Bistro Toulouse Lautrec and have always been looked after very well. We usually have a 5 or 7 course fish (Lobster) menu which I would highly recommend We have yet to attend a jazz evening but it is on our list of things to do.
a wonderful evening
This was always one of our favourite restaurants in London with incredible food and service. It was bit sad to see that things just didn't work this time. Service was confusing, loud and unfortunately nowhere near the standards we use to. Also the setup was bit poor as we found have set with one broken candle and few dirty glasses. I have to say that the food was amazing as always, but even that didn't help and we left disappointed after we had to hear and see one of the kitchen members shouting loud and upset about his work. We really hope that this is not the standard now, but we will not rush back.
Awesome atmosphere and really good food
Service was a bit slow. Took us almost 45 minutes from arrival to starter. Other than that the food was great, the pianist wasnt overwhelming and the general ambience was great. Will definitely be attending again
Gorgeous food, if a bit pricey - have only been in a lunchtimes and plenty of space available. Artful decor and atmosphere. Friendly and helpful service.
