About Tony Macaroni City Centre
An authentic slice of Italy
Our motto is “live to eat” — and after a visit to Tony Macaroni, it will be yours too!
But what makes us a pasta master and how exactly do we put the pizzazz into pizza? Well, let’s start at the beginning…
We opened our first restaurant in East Kilbride back in 2007.
Since then our reputation – and menu – has grown and now Tony Macaroni serves up delicious food in Glasgow Merchant City, Glasgow Byres Road, East Kilbride, Livingston, Largs and Motherwell.
Our dedicated chefs cook everything to order and use only the freshest ingredients – both local and Italian – in every dish that’s brought to your table.
Food and service very good will definitely go back.
We were a party of 10 looking forward to our meal, they got a few drinks wrong, mine and another person who had risotto our meal was just warm and our chips were served after we had eaten our risotto, and to add insult to injury we requested the bill,I was absolutely horrified they had added £29.48 as a tip,I enquired and was told we had to pay this as it was a service charge,I was absolutely fuming as I think it should be up to the customer if they leave a tip, those staff actually get a wage for what they do and yes we probably would of left a substantial tip,we just felt that it was a money making racket, will definitely not be back to this establishment in Glasgow as it’s a disgrace that they treat there customers with disrespect but will gladly go to our usual Tony macaroni in Dunfermline.
Superb service couldn't fault it at all
Quite a strange experience here. Service was very slow and everyone seemed stressed out. Menu is far too large. Female toilets blocked and absolutely stinking. A colleague ordered arrabiata and it was far too spicy. I quite like spicy food but I wouldn't have been able to eat it. She mentioned it and the waiter was quite abrasive asking if she wanted to make a formal complaint and speak to the manager. When someone complains they already feel awkward enough! His tone and manner were really off. There is absolutely no way I would ever go back. Pricing is not that bad but when you compare it to the likes of sartis or paesano which are much better quality and service it really can't compete.
I enjoy coming to the restaurant although I would say that I find it a little on the cold side especially if you are sitting near to the door
Enjoyed an excellent meal, staff were friendly, efficient and gave good advice on the menu. Will definitely be back.
We had a work dinner for 20 people at Tony Macaroni at the end of September. The food was great and the price was really good for the set menu. The friendly and efficient service as also excellent. We look forward to returning in the future!
All good - as ever
Great night out, the food was really good and great service from the staff.
Service was slow but atmosphere was ok
Service was great!
After checking online at menus I saw the presto menu which I was gong to opt for. When arriving I was told it was only the Al a Carte menu available that the presto menu was only available Monday- Friday! The website did not state this, only stating that the menu wouldn’t be available good Friday and bank holiday Mondays! Nothing was stated about a Saturday! Regardless my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal which cost more that expected - you need to check your website as it’s misleading- Thanks
Ordered our food and our food was in front of us in under 5 minutes, too quick!
Lovely restaurant, with friendly staff, excellent food and very good value for money. Will definitely visit again.
Having been to the restaurant in Dundee where the food is excellent I thought we would choose Tony macaroni for lunch in Glasgow. The food was basic, chicken burger was poor and chicken was very thin and covered in pre packed breadcrumbs with no flavour. Chips tasted and looked like they had been re-cooked and tasted greasy, My daughter had a pizza and this come with just cheese, we asked for pepperoni. Over all a poor lunch and a big disappointment as we were having a day out before going to little mix and had travelled from Dundee. Would choose somewhere else to eat next time.
Great time, will definitely be back!!!
Best pizza my daughter has ever had she's well impressed we always went to princes square for lunch but will certainly be back to toni macaroni, just one little thing and it's the plastic poly pocket you use for your menu was quite dirty just to make sure you either replace them or spray clean them but overall I'm giving you 5 stars my husbands lasagna was really good and my carbonara too really nice thank you and we'll see you soon Susan WIllie Molly xxx
We ordered from the £5.95 menu and we were really impressed with the quality of the food. We will definitely be back.
Low quality food. Half the meals left uneaten. No reaction from staff as to why we didn’t eat the food.
As always the food and service were excellent and we look forward to returning soon
I took my 2 nieces as a Sunday treat & they loved it. We will be back Only thing I could suggest are that the chips were average Everything else was spot on. Thanks
The food was bland and small portions no mince in lasagne . The portions And food at your branch in silverburn is much better .
Arrived a few minutes early but were seated right away. Very busy but we're served fairly quickly by staff who were courteous and attentive as usual. Always enjoy the good and atmosphere in restaurant.
Waiter was lovely, food came really fast, really nice experience.
