About Tony Macaroni City Centre
An authentic slice of Italy
Our motto is “live to eat” — and after a visit to Tony Macaroni, it will be yours too!
But what makes us a pasta master and how exactly do we put the pizzazz into pizza? Well, let’s start at the beginning…
We opened our first restaurant in East Kilbride back in 2007.
Since then our reputation – and menu – has grown and now Tony Macaroni serves up delicious food in Glasgow Merchant City, Glasgow Byres Road, East Kilbride, Livingston, Largs and Motherwell.
Our dedicated chefs cook everything to order and use only the freshest ingredients – both local and Italian – in every dish that’s brought to your table.
Good food ...Good service. Difficult to leave our very good waitress a tip ate the till.
We were sat up stairs and service seemed to take a bit longer than usual. Drinks took ages and trying to 're order was a nightmare. But the food and drinks were lovely o .ca they arrived, staff are always very pleasant.
Food was excellent ,great atmosphere and service would definitely recommend to family and friends .
From the large booking confusion the staff and the food it was all just fab the food was delicious and the bill came to out surprise was very cheap for the standard they gave it was just 10 out of 10
The meal was lovely and was served quickly. The waiters were friendly and polite. When we arrived a disabled lady was trying to manoeuvre her scooter in the door. I noticed that a member of staff was very patient and helpful in assisting the lady. Thank you.
Thos was our first time at Tony Macaroni’s and we were blown away by the service. Food was incredible and great value for money. All staff really friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back
lovely evening. the guy that took us to our seats was a bit miserable though
Good food but service was very slow and poor. Starter was delivered before we had any drinks and we had finished it before they arrived. Asked for our bill and waited about 10 minutes before it arrived as well.
Booked and visited for my daughters birthday. Staff member who was dealing with the queue coming in the restaurant looked quite harrassed and was a bit blunt in his reception. Other than that the waiters were very pleasant and the food was delicious. Understandably its a busy time of year and i can imagine its not an easy job...but please think about the people coming in and first impressions count!
Felt it was a inconvenience having a baby with me
Great service our server was so helpful
Poor atmosphere and hostile reception
Speedy service. Thank you.
My daughter trying to book table online for 3 of us before going to theatre on Wed evening, daughter and my mum on train (tunnels), not getting signal, phoned me to try as I in town already, I phoned instead at 17.15, advised by Stuart "no we don't have anything for 17.45, we are ("filling up")". My daughter then phoned to say they off train, had got table booked online and sent me confirmation email! I arrived at restaurant first and was shown to table upstairs where it was completely empty, another 2 tables were then taken whilst we were dining. I have no idea why Tony Macaroni are turning diners away at 17.45 in the evening under the pretence that they are full. The girl who served us was fine, no problems at all, however the Manager, I assume Stuart, brought our main courses and removed our bread basket without us realising at the time, with 2 slices saved for our main course. Surely it is customary service to enquire whether we are finished. I did mention to Waitress though it was not her who removed bread and she did bring another Foccacia, unfortunately when we were almost finished our main and full up. Tony Macaroni is a family favourite, however I will not be back in this particular branch.
Food was amazing and staff were so friendly and attentive! Would highly recommend!
Service was great and value for money was amazing
Brilliant and quick service, staff really efficient and friendly, beautiful food.
Had a great meal with family and friends before the theatre show we went to. Highly recommend and value for money. 5*****
Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Thank you
Nice meal. Table was right at front door to start with do very cold when door opened so we asked to move and it wasn’t a problem
Food is very good, it took around 40 minutes from we walked in until we had our drinks order taken then another 20 minutes for the drinks to arrive. Once we had our drinks our food came really quickly and staff were friendly and attentive and would get 4/5 stars if not for the initial wait. Price wise it isn't the cheapest nor the most expensive but portion size and quality of food is good for the price.
Second time we have taken our grandsons there. Great food for children and adults. Seafood was fabulous.
Waits over 20 minutes then had to ask to be served. After that everything was fine
Not my first visit and certainly not my last, great value
