About Tony Macaroni Silverburn
We are delighted to announce the opening of our new Tony Macaroni restaurant at the Glasgow Silverburn!
Our restaurants in Glasgow have always been a popular choice with the locals, so opening our new restaurant at Silverburn is something we’ve been really looking forward to! The latest addition to the Tony Macaroni family is situated in the food court near the multiscreen cinema, making it the perfect place for a tasty bite to eat after enjoying the latest blockbuster. But it’s not just cinemagoers that can enjoy our authentic Italian cuisine. We’re right next to the gym too, so if you’ve just finished a heavy session and need a healthy post-workout meal, head down to our restaurant for a pasta dish that will be make every rep seem well worth it.
We’ll see you there !
Tasty food and plenty seafood in the risotto
Nice food, staff very friendly.
Lovely value for money lunch with friends
Service very poor-not enough staff to cope with bisy restaurant
2 meals came wrong so half were almost done by the time the replacements came
As a family we use the Toni Macaroni chain frequently across; Toni to go and restaurant EK, Silverburn and the fort. Unfortunately my meal on Friday was not as I'd been use to experiencing in TM. I ordered Pollo Picante with penne rather than spaghetti, the pasta itself was under cooked and the dish was not at it's normal level of flavours. When you encounter challenges in establishments it's often the way they handle it that makes the difference. When I returned the dish to the waitress, the manager came over to tell me the pasta was supposed to be crunchy as it's the way it's served...? After I assured him that I have never had crunchy pasta in the previous 8 times I've eaten this meal, nor in any Italian I've eaten in, he went away and we heard nothing else until we settled the bill. As I had an appointment at a local hospital for my son I didn't have time to wait for a new dish to be made to settled without my meal at which point the manager came over to say the chef didn't know why it was like that and he hasn't charged me for my meal, very helpful given I hadn't eaten it! Like I mentioned it's about how you handle challenges and unfortunately I won't be rushing back to TM Silverburn after this.
Chips were oven chips and weren't very hot. Pizza arrived nearly 10 minutes after everthing else and wasn't very hot though this was removed from the bill. Took 5 minutes to be seated despite booking.
Edinburgh has a better vibe as the staff are Italian but still a great place for good Italian food.
This has become one of my favourite restaurants in Silverburn. The food, service and atmosphere are excellent and always consistent.
No complaints will definitely be back
Cheesecake was not enjoyable, rest of the meal was great though.
First time at Tony Macaroni will definitely be back A+++
I love Toni Macaroni however the Silverburn restaurant really lets the chain down. Service was very poor, food was bland and not up to the usual standard and the whole place just lacked atmosphere. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this particular restaurant which is a shame as it’s now our closest one.
I regularly book the restaurant due to great quality... great value... and great service!
Food was lovely, the girl with the long blonde hair served us can’t remeber her name! Her service was fantastic! A credit to your restaurant! The man at the door who was seeing to putting customers to tables needs to work on service. He is first point of contact and there was no welcome or eye contact. We asked to order drinks and he never came back. I understand it was Father’s Day and busy but for someone who is first point of contact was a bit of a disappointment . Only other thing I would say is the Yamaha piano where the kids go and ‘play’ on was extremely annoying when trying to enjoy a nice meal. If it wasn’t for the girl who served us it probably would of been a disaster of a night. But she was brilliant! Her name began with a K that’s all I remember!
Food was fab no faults. Service was very very long. Need more staff. When we got someone they were helpful but getting one was the problem. Will be back though
staff were fantastic and food was lovely, they brought my son's cake out and sang happy birthday to him
Lovely food and service, as always.
Food was excellent although Portion sizes could be bigger
Have been a few times prior to heading to the cinema ...absolutely no complaints at all about the food...perfectly decent place for a “quick” meal before the film ...portion sizes are very generous too Only minor niggle is the time it takes to get a drink delivered to the table ...was nearly 25 minutes on Saturday and our food actually arrived before the drink order .have had similar problems on previous visits ..that really needs to be sorted !! Staff have been uniformly helpful and friendly Will be happy to return
Orders were taken incorrectly by two different servers. First, drinks were incorrect. Then, one our of the starters was wrong and finally and most frustrating one of our main courses hadn’t even been noted down and ordered. 5 people = 5 mains. Poor customer service. No apology.
Ordered the caeser salad but asked if it had any anchovies in it, as some do. Waitress told me she didn't know but if it did she would ask for it without. This apparently turned into no dressing at all! There was also "bacon" served with the salad, but it looked like the type of streaky bacon you would put on top of a turkey when you cook it as it was approximately 90% fat. Needless to say, I wasn't keen on eating 6 strips of fat! There was also a chicken breast served with the salad, but I use the term chicken very loosely! I'm sure it was a chicken breast before it was cooked, but it was that dry when it was served that it seems like the cooking method is dehydration! Perhaps it got mixed up with the croutons, as while I can appreciate that these were home made, it seems like they were cooked for the time a good piece of chicken should be cooked, i.e. way too long for croutons! But who doesn't love that charcoal taste in a salad! So to sum up, I was impressed, as who knew that a restaurant could get something as simple as a salad so wrong!
Service was good mains were served fast though drinks were slow.
The food arrived 45 minutes after we ordered it. I asked them after 35 minutes and I noticed they made mistake but there is no any explanation or apologies.
