About Tony Macaroni Omni Centre
An authentic slice of Italy
Our motto is “live to eat” — and after a visit to Tony Macaroni, it will be yours too!
Would have liked to be asked if we needed more drinks but apart from that we had a very enjoyable first visit and would return.
Very happy with our experience, always our first choice when we go to the playhouse. Food was tasty and served very swiftly. Servers were friendly and attentive.
We arrived 545 pm on a Saturday when it was very busy. Clearly, there were not enough waiting staff to cope. We got menus around 615 pm after we asked for them; our drinks order was served at 645 pm, one full hour after sitting at our table and our food arrived at 705 pm, after asking complaining to one of the staff. The food was good and fresh. When we left the restaurant it was significantly quieter and people seemed to be getting served promptly. The manager should know when the busy periods are and have an adequate number of staff.
My experience on Saturday 19th May was not good. I booked a table for 17.45 as I was going to the theatre with my family. We arrived at 17.40. No one came near our table for almost 20 minutes to take an order. Our food then took over an hour to arrive which meant we had 10 mins to eat and leave. A very bad experience for us
Pizza topping was a bit sparse but was nice. My wife didn’t like the teriyaki chicken as the broccoli made the mash potato soggy and wasn’t impressed. Restaurant was very busy and extremely noisy but this cannot be helped by the restaurant unless there were less tables.
Service really slow. 9 of us at the table and we all got our food at different times. Also never got one of our sides even after asking for it twice and then they still tried to charge us for it. Tip was also added to the bill at 10% which we did not feel justified given the poor service. Waiters didn’t know what options were gluten free and menu didn’t state. Very dissatisfied all round. Food was ok but not worth the money.
I like the food and service is quick. However I do not like the layout of the restaurant...I feel I am in a canteen. Even though I had a reservation we were shown to a tiny table next to the busy cooking area. We asked to move and we did end up in a booth which gave us more room (there was 3 of us). This gave us more room than the last time I visited when you squashed 7 people into one of these booths.
staff were all lovely and food was brilliant
Food was amazing, staff are friendly & accommodating. We wanted to sit outside with drinks after our meal and there weren’t any seats so they went and brought some out, super service!
I was really disappointed
Almost finished starters before drinks came. Food was the same quality as usual, we had ordered these meals before.
Staff were lovely. Good service, great food
Busy Saturday early evening, but the service was great
Great meal, excellent service
Staff were brilliant! Very friendly and always quick to make sure we were happy. Will definitely be back again
Very attentive staff and amazing food
Would encourage a half portion option and improvements to children’s menu
Enjoyable meal as it always is
excellent service even though it was extremely busy!
Services was slow. We had to ask for bill even though our table was finished for about 10mins. We waited on someone asking if we required card machine. Had to ask for card machine which staff member said they would bring it. Eventually gave up and went to front to restaurant and joined the queue that had now formed wairing to pay bills. Food was very oily mum had spaghetti carbonara which was swimming in oil and she could only eat half because of this. The Mac n cheese was very thick and gluepy with again only 1/2 was eaten by 3 of us and the other dishes were not as spicy as had been requested. As we were going to the theatre we had no time to raise our disappointment. Seems to me that every time I visit a Tony Mac’ the service always seems to be poor. I know only visit if the majority of the group I am eating with wish to go their. I personally would not choose Tony Mac’ as my 1st choice restaurants to visit.
Restaurant was very busy so it took a while for us to be seated and order taken but after that service was faultless
Staff friendly and very helpful. Burn marks right around my macaroni bowl
First time we've been to Tony's and been disappointed. Took 50 minutes to get our starters then had to rush our mains to get to our show on time. Worst part was waiter said starter would be free due to horrendous wait and yet it was still on the bill. Couldn't be bothered arguing by this point! Terrible service but food was amazing as always.
