About Tony Macaroni Omni Centre
An authentic slice of Italy
Our motto is “live to eat” — and after a visit to Tony Macaroni, it will be yours too!
We had a fabulous time for our pre theatre meal the staff were very friendly would definitely recommend this to family and friends.
We enjoyed our meal. Service was quick, friendly & efficient. We have been several times before & will be back!
Frogmarched to our table , no time between starters & mains and then brought my bill before I'd asked for it or been asked if I'd like a dessert or.coffee
Based on food, it was good. The service started off fine, we were 5 minutes late due to buses but the staff were really nice and we had a good laugh with them. However, once we had eaten our mains and ordered the kids ice cream, we were presented with the bill and told to go to the front door to pay when we were done....the kids ice cream appeared after this!! There was a real feeling of, ‘here’s your hat what’s your hurry’! Furthermore....when we looked at the bill, we noticed a 10% gratuity had automatically been added on without our knowledge, I know this is not illegal but, it is extremely cheeky and I actually found it offensive. There was not one mention from the staff that this had been added on which I just think is sneaky. We were going to leave a tip greater than 10% however after seeing this already on the bill changed our minds. Had this not happened at the end of the meal and we had been trusted to make our own minds up about tipping, this review would have been a lot better.
Booked table for 3 dinner came had to ask to move coz we had been put at table for 2 and no room !!! Food was here within 5 mins chicken was cubes (frozen)husbands macaroni was fit for a kid ! Usually use Livingston . From now on I will b using Livingston ,omni centre no where near as good Omni centre 0 Livingston 10 👌
Really busy but the service was excellent. Staff polite and helpful and plenty of them. First time i’ve Been and would happily recommend to others and visit again.
The food was beautiful but the over the top service made our experience far from relaxing. Even after asking the manager for it to stop it still continued and we felt we were being forced to eat up and get out. My daughter ordered a non alcoholic strawberry daquiri and fortunately she checked and was told it was an alcoholic one she is on strong medication which with alcohol would make her I'll and to add insult we were charged for an alcoholic one. I suggest better staff training of your waiting staff. Kids got sheets to colour in but no pencils
Food was fast as f**k waited no longer than 8 minutes for out full meal ! Was amazing
Fantastic meal and excellent service - could not fault.
All good, quick service.
Had a lovely dinner. Portion for the mixed Caldi starter was huge, if we had eaten it we could not have eaten our main course. Your staff were kind enough to box up what we left. Food overall was delicious. Service was first class. Only complaints were Cappuccino too hot and too milky and wine not cold enough. Will definitely be back.
We visited after the theatre, it was very busy, we had to ask 3 times for our drinks and again then had to ask twice for our bill, the pizza was delicious but an extra £2 charged for some reason but I didn't bother asking why. Wee will try again but not after the theatre
Good service at a very busy time after theatre matinee show. Great Value for money
Table was booked for 5.30pm however we had to wait in a queue until the kitchen was ready for us! Maybe not booking everyone in at the same time - 5 minute slots instead - would alleviate this situation which was not helped by the patronising member of staff telling us about how to run a restaurant - customers don't need to know this. All other staff were exceptional.
The waiter at the front of the house was not very welcoming. He was very rude and informed us that our table would have to be vacated by 6.15 as they had another booking. We were booked for 4.15. If it was a problem the booking should not have been taken and it was hardly very welcoming. We felt that we were getting pushed out. We left well before 6.15.
The staff were fast, friendly and attentive on what was an extremely busy day
Food & service was fantastic, no long wait to get served. My only complaint is the fact the bill comes with the amount of tip you have to pay!! I always leave a tip but to be told the amount is not right. We all work hard in our jobs but don’t get tipped so it should be a bonus getting it & not a demand.
Staff too stressed - food below average . Too many servers at the one table made it impersonal .
Our waiter was excellent, polite and helpful, however we waited 50 mins between our starter and main course! We couldn’t finish our meals as we had to leave to go to the theatre next door! I felt 1 hour 45 mins was enough time to eat in your restaurant but apparently not!!It was extremely busy, waiting staff were frantically running around the restaurant! When paying the bill the gentleman at the till just put his hand out for my money whilst talking to another customer, he didn’t even say thank you! Not the best customer service at front of house!! Very disappointed and unlikely to be back!
Terrible! Handed the bill we didn’t ask for under 60 mins from entering. We had booked the table, we’re having a 2 course family meal, £50, and rushed out in under 60 mins. Actually took plates of food away from our table that we weren’t finished with. It was busy but under 60 mins is ridiculous to rush folk and hand them their bill. Absolute chaos and shocking. Thank god we are from Glasgow so can avoid this hellish restaurant in future.
Sorry to say wouldn't be back in a rush. I get it is a busy restaurant but the service is poor. Your waiting staff run from table to table. We waiting 10 mins for all dishes to be served after the first plate arrived around a 50 min wait. Not all the order arrived but was charged. We weren't asked if all was OK, if we wanted sauces etc. We requested a pizza cutter twice but it never came. One of waiters serving our food was chewing gum...not nice. Booked a table of 8 and we're squashed into a booth!!
Fun night food and service excellent lovely staff
Quick service and great food. Perfect pre-theatre.
Felt very rushed, and the staff were constantly running about, I appreciate this is a busy restaurant, however this and the service did not make it a pleasant dining experience. Our ice cream arrived like a milk shake as it had melted. However we asked 4 members of staff ( one member twice) waiting 15 minutes for a replacement which came without a smile or apology. I usually love the food, but felt my pasta sauce was dry and not up to the usual standard. However everyone else had a good meal.
Joined the hundreds of families eating before Matilda at the Playhouse. We still received quick service of great food. Our first visit but certainly not our last.
