About Tony Macaroni Omni Centre
An authentic slice of Italy
Our motto is “live to eat” — and after a visit to Tony Macaroni, it will be yours too!
We were disappointed on Friday night, e came up specially to come here for a birthday treat, and yes it's a Friday just before Christmas, but our drinks were wrong, the chips came when we had two bites of food left on of the deserts never came, and when it did the ice cream was like milk, plus had to wait even longer for a spoon to eat it!!! Almost £90, so won't be back, which is a shame.
Bland meal, cocktails where ok nothing special. Table service was far too intrusive. Rate 6/10
Great service and food
Very pleased with the quick and efficient service.
Great food. Good access for wheelchair. Friendly and helpful staff
Although the service was very good, the staff seemed to be in an unduly hurry to clear the plates away. Every time a waiter walked past, if there was an empty plate, he would just whip it away. When my wife was chewing her last bite, a waiter walking past leaned over and lifted the plate while she still had the knife and fork in her hands. We actually believed there must have been a shortage of plates, and ours were needed for other customers. Normally, in other restaurants, the waiting staff wait until everyone is finished, and then ask if we are all finished before removing the plates.
Great food. Pity dining experience is spoiled by the manager who makes you dizzy with his frantic dashing about that his waiters follow It's not meant to be a "fast" restaurant and making your customers feel like they red to eat up and get out I have never been presented with my bill so quick or with such ignorance
Had a fab lunch meal at Toni Macaroni Omni Centre, the staff were amazing with our two children making a family day out very special :) ...
Wrong food brought to me Staff not that friendly
We got served straight away, but was given our meal without our drinks, I ordered the ribs but there was no meat on them and could hardly cut them. I would always recommend the ribs to anyone in Livingston Tony Macs as they are amazing with loads of meat and they just fall apart. I complained to the waiter which he took up with the chef, I was told thats how they come and had to order up something else. i had to chase up our drinks order, the lady came and I was given the wrong drink. When I went to pay for the bill I was asked if we wanted to leave a tip and I replied no. The lady asked why and I explained she was really nice and told us to wait until she spoke to the Manager. The Manager came over and just said that the chef said that is how the ribs are served. i explained that I always get this in Livingston and they are amazing. His reply was well they must have a different supplier and he then walked away. I know they were busy but I felt that he was really rude. I will never be back again.
We had booked for a work Christmas meal. Staff were very busy and not particularly engaging or attentive. We were choosing off the Christmas menu only to be told that three starters were no longer on the menu, the turkey had been taken off the mains and the sticky toffee pudding was off the pudding list. This was VERY DISAPPOINTING. The service was slow, the food was mediocre and not the standard I or my colleagues had hoped for. I couldn't get the started of my choice and opted for garlic bread and there was no garlic on this...it was bread covered in oil. My colleagues were disappointed with the main courses, lasagne carbonara was very dry, lasagne dry, small portions. The puddings were ok. We didn't ask for the bill, it was just landed on our table with no communication. Really low point for us after we had been looking forward to having a dining experience with good food and great service. There was no Christmas atmosphere whatsoever, no crackers, nice table settings or anything festive. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I would appreciate a response to this email and a goodwill gesture to restore my faith that Tony Mac can provide great food with an equally great service. Thanks Kate
Very busy which is understandable at this time of year. But the service was a letdown. Upon arrival we were pointed to our table while the manager had an argument with a member of staff. Our time here was very rushed(hardly got enough time to thoroughly look through the menu) our plates were cleared as soon as our fork hit the plate. And we were then asked if we wanted our bill...we hadn’t even finished our drinks. Wasn’t willing to complain as certain staff didn’t feel approachable:(
Absolutely excellent service considering how busy the restaurant was. Food was very good and portions were big and good value for money.
Had to wait 25 mins for our deserts asked 3 times for it when the cheesecake arrived the gelatin in it had not been dissolved disgusting
As always the food is great however I must mention the staff who were all excellent. We did have a very wobbly table and were able to move after our wine almost spilled over.
Food was lovely, good portion sizes.x
Good meal with nice service although a couple of times tried to give our food to the wrong table
Our servers were excellent, efficient and friendly. The food was good, my sister and our friend enjoyed their pizza and burger respectively. My spaghetti carbonara was flavourful tho a little over-oily for my taste, but nice nonetheless. Would certainly go again and recommend to others.
When we arrived, we discovered the advertised menu/pricing was incorrect, so left.
Love coming here but this time we came was awful, service was so bad, waiting for ages, food was cold and plates were only half full. My daughter left hungry l. Doubt we will be back
Restaurant very busy so expected to wait a bit. But not over an hour for the main course. They had very obviously forgot about us. Wasn't until we noticed a family of six opposite us, who came in a lot later that they had a starter and were on their main meal we complained to the manager. He then went to investigate and we got our meals. No apology and meals weren't what we expected no cutlery or napkins were provided. Considering we had spent just short of a £100 for the meals the least they could have done was said sorry. So am sorry Tony macaroni I will not back or recommending you.
A very busy Saturday night, everything very good, just felt a bit rushed
Once seated we where served quickly and the food arrived in no time. However, arriving at restaurant it was fairly busy, we stood at door for sometime with no one acknowledging us, a small nod or “be with you soon” wouldn’t have gone a miss.
Staff trying their best but very busy. Had to ask 3 times for water and then only got 3 glasses for our table of 7.
Great food and really reasonably priced :)
