About Tony Macaroni Byres Rd
Our Byres Road eaterie is always busy with customers of all ages, enjoying the best freshly-cooked food at reasonable prices.
Since opening in 2009, the diner has become a West End institution, perfect for romantic first dates, family celebrations and business lunches.
Whatever the occasion, you’re assured of a warm welcome and a mouthwatering menu to choose from.
You could even just pop in for one of our famous pizzas for a fiver — you won’t find better value this side of the Alps!
Unfortunately not the best meal we've had at Tony's. There was a lack of spice and flavour in the pasta dishes and the focaccia needed a bit more cooking. The cheesecake for dessert could easily have been halved as the portion was far too big. The service was good - very noisy but due more to the number of customers than the staff.
Goid choice of food on the lunchtime menu and at a great price.
Lovely meal, friendly staff, will definitely be back
Staff very friendly excellent service food brilliant will definitely go back again brilliant for the money very reasonable. X

A very pleasant dining experience
Excellent food, service & using the presto menu meant excellent value for money !
I booked on line and requested to eat up on the balcony. On arrival i was greeted by my name, ( a nice touch !)and shown to our table upstairs. The service was great and the four of us all had pizza , they were excellent . Would recommend and will be back, many thanks Toni Macaroni
Great value and very good service!
Our waiter Callum made our visit very special, the food was great as always x
We go every year on 29 June after accidentally visiting on the same day 2 years in a row. I think it’s been 5 years now! I wanted to give particular praise to our waiter who was fantastic with my 1 year old son. Food was great but the service really made my night. Only complaint was that the frozen strawberry daiquiri didn’t have enough strawberry flavour.
Brilliant for Kids, Menu is great and the portions are perfect!
Hi , ordered a calzone pizza which had very little tomato sauce and filling. I felt I was eating more bread than anything else. I asked for 2 cokes and was automaticly give a pint which I didn’t ask for. I did not make a complaint as it was a Father’s Day treat from my 10 year old daughter. At £28 + tip I found this expensive as my kid had food from the children’s menu:
Had a lovely family gathering for Father’s Day, food and service were excellent
Excellent service Excellent food

Great experience for first time I’m Toni Macaroni ,
Excellent food if not slightly big portions.
Great food, nice staff too!
Myself and my Husband came to you as a celebration of my Father's Death. His Funeral was yesterday but he lived in South East England and my health wasn't not good enough to attened. We had been to Tony Macaroni at Breahead and had a lovely meal so we had no reason to think that your one would be any different only difference was you are closer to our home. My Husband enjoyed his meal untill this morning when he had such a sore stomach i wasn't sure if or when he was going to come out the toilet. I asked online for a table away from the front door as i get cold easily it started of fine then i must have been about 45 minutes with a draft at my back the staff were never about to ask anything. I never had a starter for main course i had Pollo Fornara well the marinated with yoghurt and sweet paprika was that salted the only reason i eat the first breast of chicken was because i was so hungry and as i said there were never any staff about or i would had told them and got them to get me a different meal. The garlic mayonnaise was not that at all as mayonnaise is supose to be thick this was like water, think i counted about 3 strands of the caramelised red onions. So i tried to eat the potatoes that had no sause on it. For desert we both had Toffee cheesecake myself with runny cream that reminded me of the garlic mayonnaise and my husband chose ice cream with his. To me i fund the cheesecake very rubbery in testure and couldn't taste much toffe in it. I eat it because i was so hungry from not being able.to eat my main course. The reason i chose the main course was because i had it at Breahead and it was beautiful. We will never use your restauant again we will go the extra miles to Breahead the next time.
Food was lovely! Disappointing there was no draught beer for my husband. The restaurant was very quiet, which was strange for a bank holiday Sunday. Really enjoy coming here, sort the beer situation
