About Tony Macaroni Bangor
Our motto is “live to eat” — and after a visit to Tony Macaroni, it will be yours too!
An excellent all-round experience, as always, at Northern Irelands No.1 Italian restaurant.
Servers very frienly and attentive
Very relaxing atomsphere good for children and great vfm
Beware with their online discount's... I took the family for dinner yesterday evening and tried to use their online 'no strings attached' Facebook offer of 25% off and they wouldn't honour it. The server said it had to be printed out on paper to be valid, I then showed him the discount on my phone which states that it only had to be shown and no mention about having to print it out (or I would have done this)but they still refused to honour it . I now feel like we've been conned and definitely won't be back!
Excellent service. great value for money using our NHS discount. Thank you
Lovely meal with pleasant attentive staff!
Great food good value for money with the offer. Service was great will be back
First visit last night and we will definitely be back! Food was beautiful and staff were great :)
Very average food ok
First time visitor. Very impressed.
We really enjoyed our meal which was bruschetta for starter and risotto for main. After all this we were too full for dessert. Would definitely return
The food is amazing
Can't fault the team in Bangor for the meal and service on Sunday night. There's something about a team that accommodates your requests for changes without complaint or refusal. The manager is a standout performer, top marks!
Messed our order up. Had 4 different waitors come up and try and take our orders again. Food was very average. Blue chicago is much nicer
Only problem was the hot sharing platter was very burnt. Fillet steak was amazing!
Definitely the best visit ever, I would say no faults at all, every box ticked.
Food and service excellent
Having been to Tony Macaroni’s across the UK many times, this has to be the most disappointing by far! The food was horrible to say the least, one dish was the bolognese which to be complete honest tasted like sick to both of us. The second dish was a pizza although it was fine to eat, it wasn’t anything special, it was dry, slightly burnt in places and was not at all full of flavour. We both finished eating saying we good have got better from a takeaway or made better ourselves. We didn’t bother saying anything at the time because a table beside us had sent food back and waited for 20 minutes for new food to come out in its place, which at that stage we no longer wanted to wait for after a long day working. The majority of our food was still on the plate when it was taken back the the kitchen which seemed to go unnoticed by the servers. The drinks, atmosphere, etc. left a lot to be desired and was not at all a good dining experience. We will not be back any time soon. This is such a let down considering the amazing experiences we have had in other Tony Macaroni restaurants across the UK.
Very disappointing food. Sticky tables.
Great food and good value, especially the Sunday specials
Came with our 3 kids under 8, food was great, good portions with plenty of options and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely come back.
had a great night of food and drink, all staff were professional and courteous. a+
