About Toms Table
"Where great food and great company go hand in hand"
The kitchen table is the heart of the family home, and here at Tom’s Table it is the heart of our hotel. Built, owned and run by the Moran family, Tom’s Table at the Red Cow Moran Hotel is named after the head of our family, Tom Moran.
Tom hails from a large family & has a large family himself, so he appreciates as much as anyone how important the family table is, as a means of bringing everyone together.
Our main sharing table is inspired by the actual table that sits in Tom’s family home in Athea, West Limerick, built by his own hand as a young apprentice carpenter and represents family, tradition, comfort, community and the pleasures of sharing.
Renowned for its variety and quality of dining and beverage options, The Red Cow Moran Hotel Dublin is the ideal choice for hotel guests aswell as locals to relax, eat and drink and the perfect meeting place for lunch or dinner with friends, family or work colleagues.
Planning a family celebration for a upcoming Communion, Christening, Wedding or indeed any family event? Wondering where to bring Mum for Mothers Day in Dublin? Tom's Table Restaurant is now open and offers the perfect venue for family gatherings and groups of all sizes.
Relaxing evening good food and service
Everything about or visit to Tom's Table was perfect! There was a great selection of dishes on the menu and our food was delicious. Our waitress was lovely and she looked after us extremely well. All in all we had a lovely evening in Tom's Table and we will certainly be recommending it to all of our friends & family.
Staff were lovely. Joleen and Carol.
Food absolutely amazing, atmosphere is so chill and relaxing. Bianca was our waitress and she was a true delight, made our evening to run smoothly. Thank you Bianca -
All round great experience
Thank you all so much for looking after myself and my family so well to say you guys went above and beyond to make my daughters communion is an understatement. Thank you Jessica and Co for such a fantastic day. The food was also amazing I cannot say thank you enough. Kind Regards Sharon Mulligan
Disappointed that what I asked for form your menu wasn’t available, I would be making sure that doesn’t happen, the service however was very slick.
Thank you, we had a wonderful birthday celebration at Tom's Table last Saturday night. Everything was terrific - food, service, and the birthday cake was delicious!
Staff very friendly and professional. Very impressed with Value for money too.
My wife and I had a meal on Saturday night last. From the table booking to the meal itself the service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentive and orders were delivered to the table promptly. One bit of positive criticism; We noticed the lighting was very bright which spoiled the atmosphere a little bit but not so much that it ruined the night or anything. Apparently candles were due in but hadn't arrived yet. Small thing. Overall it's a fab restaurant. We'd be glad to recommend it and we will be back. Best regards.
Nice quiet meal. The service was great with very attentive staff. The restaurant was quiet with just two other couples eating there. Food was ok but not spectacular. Paying for parking could be off putting for potential customers.
I booked a table online for Sat 16 Feb and received an email confirmation of the booking. On arrival we were told there was no booking and the restaurant was not open for lunch!! You subsequently emailed me a feedback form. I emailed Tom's Table to see what had gone wrong - but received no acknowledgement or response. I guess their online booking system does not work and should be taken down. And they obviously have no interest in looking into my experience.
Steak was heaven.
Lovely new restaurant with great food and a good selection. Lovely staff and atmosphere too, will definitely come back.
In short, food was very poor, service was lovely. The restaurant is huge, but empty. We didn’t realise that only the lunch menu was available at 3pm on the Saturday which offered a very limited menu - more of a not great pub Sunday lunch. For example striploin roast, crown of turkey, chicken supreme.. The striploin was roast and extremely tough/dry cut. The majority of the table ordered this and could not eat it as it was so poor. The children’s menu offered a steak but this was also like leather. The starters ordered included Caesar salad and Pate, both were mediocre. I think we would have got better from the car very in Redcow. It was pretty disappointing as service was so lovely, and there are good wine options available. Management took 5 of the 8 main meals off the bill because of the poor quality. None of the 8 of us will go back as the food was so bad over all
Excellent food and service
A fantastic menu complimented with a great venue & knowledgeable and attentive staff.
An excellant meal. Service was fantastic. Will definitely be back.
Food was fantastic, staff were very attentive lovely atmosphere
We had a lovely meal on Saturday everything was excellent. The waitresses were really lovely and very pleasant. The food was delicious.
I have eaten twice in last two months and I am booked in again in August in Toms Table. Starters and mains are a delighted to order, unfortunately your desserts disappoint greatly. They resemble something i'd find in a petrol station, extremely artificial.Do you by any chance buy them pre-made? A real disappointment, and so at odds with standards set for starters/main. I won't be trying any again.
What a great experience of dining was 18 of us in total, staff was so attentive to us all & friendly & service was just amazing on ball minute we walked in (always a good sign)made it all so easy for us or just me as I had organise it friend hen night. Thanks to Tom table & there lovely, professional, attentive staff truly dining experience at it's best. Kind regards Monica T
The fillet steak my wife had was found to be a little fatty in the middle. Compared to one we had in a restaurant in cork Sunday which was much better quality and a centre cut and 3 euro cheaper. My rib eye at 10 Oz I thought was just ok and again at 28 euro expensive.
Food was lovely, very peaceful calm atmosphere our waitress was very pleasant and helpful
