We very much enjoyed our meal . We ate at 5, having the set menu. Great food & service. Our only criticism was the music was too load to have a conversation ! But keep up the good work. We are not local but will be back! Thank you
Our evening at Tinga Salisbury could not have been bettered ! The welcome, the staff, the amazing food and the vibe was all brilliant ! The whole place - including the WC was clean and fresh. Maddie explained everything - more than once ! And helped with menu choices - all the staff are obviously well trained - well done all! We will be back again soon. 😄 couldn’t recommend more- Best Dining experience in Salisbury !
Nice staff, but very slow service. Forgot items ordered, but was too slow to ask again. At 6:30pm on a Friday night they had run out of 1 out of 2 pudding options.
We’ve visited Tinga twice and have been pleased with the friendly staff, great ambience and great food.
Really lovely meal at Tinga with my parents. Negative: The only issue was the lack of truly gluten free options. My mother has coeliac disease and so cannot digest gluten, so we were disappointed that the tortilla chips (naturally gluten free) were fried in the same oil as flour based ingredients. Similarly the tostadas. we were told that things from the grill would also contain traces of gluten. It limited the things my mum could eat. The menu labels many of these things that contain traces of gluten as 'gluten free' (hence the menu looked very coeliac friendly when we looked online before the booking) which is fine for people who prefer not to eat gluten, or who have a mild intolerance, but for coeliac sufferers like my mum, it's pretty misleading. Positive: The staff were incredibly helpful in letting my mother know what she could eat (even though this contradicted the menu) and incredibly apologetic when we raised our worries. They seemed genuinely concerned that my mum was having a mildly disappointing experience, and one of the staff who does the ordering came to reiterate the apology after our meal and said they were keen to get things right. He said they would be changing the menu in the new year, so we will definitely be back to see how things have progressed! It is wonderful to have some authentic Mexican food in Salisbury (let alone the south of England!!) and the ambience at Tinga is friendly, the decor lush and exuberant! I really hope they sort the (relatively minor) gluten issues out, and keep serving up delicious food! Oh! And how about a few more desert options?! Something with lime ...something zingy!
My friend ' so glad you have introduced me to the food at Tinga, Gonna bring the hubby'
Delicious food and attentive but not obtrusive staff.
Amazing food, drinks and service as usual. Definitely Salisbury's number one restaurant!
Best restaurant in town!
Fabulous evening, everyone was very freindly, efficient service and great food, have already booked to return in 2 weeks
I had very high hopes for Tinga having read the reviews. It was nice, but not amazing. The staff were lovely but I thought the service was quite slow. Overall it was expensive for an average meal.
I thought it was an EXCELLENT ESTABLISHMENT ... GREAT FOOD ! AMAZING FRIENDLY POLITE STAFF .. we were a fairly large party .. was so impressed with the organisation and service .. will definitely be back with my family /work colleagues Thankyou Charlotte Churchill
We very much enjoyed our visit to Tinga. Staff were very attentive and informative. Really liked the food style, and thought the drinks were reasonably priced. Will certainly come again
An absolute gem! Wonderful food and cocktails, we'll definitely be back next time we're in Salisbury
Super speedy service and fantastic food, we really enjoyed our evening. Only suggestion I would make is that we had 4 different serving staff at points in the evening, it might be easier to remember what stage the table’s at if this was only 1 or 2. We were asked how we were just after ordering dessert
First visit for me. Second for my wife. It’s now a favourite of both of us! It was our first dinner date night since our daughter was born a year ago! The food was excellent. We honeymooned in Mexico and we’re so impressed with how authentic the food was!! We’ll be back for sure. Thanks to you all- Tinga is the restaurant Salisbury needed.
Fabulous birthday meal. We loved the flexibility of the menu - the staff were happy to accommodate all our tastes. Great mocktails for the kids. We will definitely return soon, especially for those churros!
Second time visiting. Second time with excellent food, excellent service, excellent drinks. Firmly our go to spot now.
Seated later than reservation but enjoyed cocktails while we waited and appreciated that we weren’t rushed to finish our evening then. Food was delish, service was good, confusion over splitting the bill but no major drama. Was all in all a really lovely evening and will be returning.
Authentic food and great service
Easy to park, close to the centre and a little gem of a restaurant.
We had a very nice meal, flavoursome and varied, coupled with some great cocktails. Service excellent, knowledgeable staff and a great atmosphere! I have been to Tinga 3 times previously and have never been disappointed.
food was very good will go again
Great atmosphere. Quick and friendly service. Unique experience. Delicious food and cocktails.
It was disappointing that on a Saturday early evening all of the chicken dishes had been sold out, left a rather limited choice for us.
