On the fashionable Heddon Street, just off Regent Street. A short stroll from Picadilly and Oxford Circus, tibits is a vegetarian/vegan haven with a pay by weight system and over 40 alternating dishes daily.
Love the food here! The staff are generally super friendly too
Very innovative vegetarian food always. Plenty of cold and hot dishes and lovely puddings. Excellent service and value for money.
Always a great place to eat, whether with a friend or with a big group. And it suits all tastes - in our group yesterday we had one person who is lactose-intolerant, two vegetarians and one who can't eat dairy, and there are always plenty of options!
What a lovely afternoon - tibits is a fabulous relaxed restaurant - six of us spent 3 hours there- no one hassled us- friendly welcoming staff- we love it
Tibits is a great place and I recommend it to all my friends.
Tibits has been my favourite restaurant for years, but I notice that some of really good substantial dishes like proper mains, i.e. tofu bake are not there or there rarely. And now you pay in the evenings almost £20 for a plate of hummus and salad. They are amazing, but maybe not at this price. Though deserts are always great
One of our favourite restaurants for vegan food!
It’s a great place to eat and really happy to see more vegan options available. However, I think the average cost of a plate of food is a bit too high.
I had so many positive comments from the people in the group. I think everyone agreed it was a perfect venue for the 14 of us to meet up at. Thank you.
We often come here, the food is lovely.
We were in the private dining area. Lovely space and delicious food as always.
We LOVED the outdoor 'Swiss Alpine' fondue experience - We were right under the heating so nice & cozy, the vegan cheese was delicious and the little bites of fresh bread and veg were perfect too (would only recommend to cut the larger veg bites in half!) Will return for more soon no doubt! :)
The vegan fondue was even more delicious this year than last time we tried it. Friendly staff, good value for money and cozy setting. Just confirms Tibits as one of my favourite restaurants in London :)
Good vegan option!
Excellent as usual - thanks
Let’s start with the positives, the food was excellent and the whole concept of the restaurant is appealing. Choosing your meal and paying for it is simple and efficient and , for a central London establishment, good value for money. Two negatives, when I arrived having booked a table for 4 about three weeks ago, I was told, as were my companions who arrived separately, that there were no bookings. This was odd since the day before the meal I had been sent an e.mail asking for a confirmation of my booking. It was OK because there was a free table but it was disconcerting to be greeted that way. Secondly, the state of the toilets was not something I would expect to see in a place which serves food. In fact, not really in any place. I went to use the downstairs loos before eating and it made me think twice about eating . Maybe it was just a bad day but one toilet was locked , another taped up and another two not in any fit condition to be used. Disappointing!
I booked a table, but a table was not reserved for me. Other than that the food was good and I have no complaints.
Went to Tibits for lunch to welcome a new colleague (the only vegan in the team). Originally booked a table for five but on the day there were seven of us, which wasn’t a problem for the staff as they sorted out a suitable table instantly. We were all greeted at the door and the service was clearly explained. The selection of food was vast and tasted delicious! All of us thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere of tibits. Definitely a place we will return too.
Wonderful place with an amazing choice of food and flavours.
We booked a table for lunch but when we arrived there wasn’t a table for 4 upstairs. We were told we could sit near the bar and push tables together to make a 4. Staff didn’t help us to do this. Food is sold by weight and my friend was charged for the tray cutlery and glass when she complained staff told her not worry about it but she was charged for it. They didn’t offer a refund and we won’t be going back.
I have visited many times over the years. It’s the perfect spot. Great location, plenty of seating indoors and outside. Good healthy food that accommodates most dietary requirements. This time I booked for a reunion with former colleagues. Many were impressed and I’m sure will be visiting again with their guests in the future.
Delicious food. One of our party was a wheelchair user and the staff were helpful and accommodating.
The food felt too expensive compared to places like Rodizio Rico. There is no table service for the drinks. The tables are a bit too close to each other. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a good choice of dishes.
Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to tibits in Heddon St, this time in the evening and downstairs. The atmosphere was great. A really fun place. I'm not a vegetarian but this is my favourite restaurant in London, the food is great.
The vegan Fondue was deeeeelicious! I can highly recommend it. My non-vegan friend said it tastes better than the standard one! It was a great experience and I would definitely go back.
