About Three Cranes
Frequented by the likes of Samuel Pepys and playwright Ben Jonson, Three Cranes is a cosy pub with a Grill Room on the first floor. Under the gimlet eye of chef-restaurateur Henry Harris, we serve a daily changing menu of seasonal British food with a detour through the bistros and bouchons of France.
Very quiet on the evening we went (although pub downstairs very busy), second floor dining room is quite isolated.
Nice small gastrointestinal and restaurant.
Amazing food & service.
The dining room is great. The only reason for the 4* rather than 5* rating for atmosphere is that the restaurant was very quiet - but it was a wet Tuesday lunchtime!
A great pub with great food and great service. If I could afford to, I would eat here every week!
Lovely dinner, just a little quiet on a Tuesday night. The staff were all amazingly attentive and pleasant. Thank you!
Three of us had rib eye steak and we all thought it was of excellent quality.
Excellent staff, good atmosphere. Thanks
Excellent. The staff really looked after us, even going out of their way to source ingredients for cocktails we ordered that weren't on the menu.
Food was excellent. Service was prompt and friendly.
Food was great , although over catered. Service good albeit speed hindered by building logistics. Staff however did all they could to ensure all ran smoothly. Overall a very good evening all were happy.
Love this place
A very enjoyable experience. We wish we had more time to linger over lunch. The service was exceptional - like we had the entire dining room to ourselves!
Very attentive service, great atmosphere and fantastic venue well located in the City
Great waitress and I liked that the chef came to say hello
We had a great evening
Very good food in a bright airy dining room - and a great value wine list.
Very nice lunch - with the pleasant surprise when the bill came of a 50% discount, which apparently runs throughout Feb
