About Thomas Greens Scartho
Artisan Convenience Store & Coffee Shop with Jungle Garden - Serving Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Coffe & Cake.
My cake was dry, but the other two were fine. We all thought it was a bit expensive, £2.70 for cup of tea!
Food nice when we eventually got it. One order was wrong though but we kept what we’d been given as we were hungry. Asked for heater to be put on but no one came back to do it after we’d asked. With elderly parents celebrating an anniversary and were seated right next to the screen in the cold. Good job I took blankets! Staff were pleasant though
Service was slow to bring drinks, nice friendly staff though. Pancakes where cold although tasty
Had the grazing board and three tapas. Tapas came out first which are hot dishes and had to wait for the grazing board and then the plates and forks came out after that. Food was delicious however! No wine list at the table and didnt have any wine recommended by the waitress. The garden looks amazing, nice cozy feel to it. Really nice evening despite the rain. Will return
Really enjoyed ourselves. Food was fab!
From the experience we had I understand why the jungle garden is in such high demand! Our breakfast was amazing!
Absolutely amazing first experience in Thomas Green. The Jungle Garden is brilliant and live music created the perfect Sunday afternoon atmosphere.
Had a fabulous time yesterday, everything was great, will definitely be returning x
Lovely will be back xx
Absolutely awful service. Will not be attending again.
Excellent lunch, will certainly be returning very soon!
Loved the jungle garden! Straightforward booking system, great atmosphere and friendly service. An asset to the village, good luck !!!
The booking system did not specify that when the garden is full it puts you on the pavement next to busy road which we did not want Booked for my mums birthday so really disappointed Manager did apologise and give gift voucher and bottle of proseco so thanks
Great spot in the Jungle Garden, came for tea, coffee and cookies - a great choice of all. Will be back 👌
So easy to book a table. Beautiful garden to eat out in. Fabulous cakes.
Thoroughly enjoyed my two trips to sit in the garden. Good value wine and food. Will be coming back to sample evening menu soon.
Visited Friday afternoon, possibly a little bit disorganised from my first impression. We sat in the jungle garden, very nice!! weather quite warm but heaters definitely made it warmer, has a covered roof. We were served straight away very friendly staff, however not knowing on what beers they had available. We also ordered food that should have come with chips but they’d ran out although food was very nice. Will definitely return.
Food really lovely although busy so had to wait a little while. Worth it.
Had ran out of a lot of the food. Had to take our order twice. Waiting staff need dedicated tables. Staff didn’t know what drinks they sold. You need at least a base menu for alcoholic drinks and mixers. The food we had decent. The steak and ale pie is excellent. The beer is pretty good value. Overall, a decent night and will be back.
The heaters make a massive difference, good purchase. Could just do with a way of trying to communicate that you want to order again.
Excellent garden area. Really friendly staff and food great. A wider menu choice would be good, however I appreciate why it is limited at the current time.
Beautiful garden area lovely food and such good service from the friendly staff. Can’t wait to go back. 👍
Staff very polite and friendly, food was amazing, especially the honey and ginger chicken wings and fish and chips. Drinks were lovely and exactly as I liked. Got desserts to take home and there were out of this world. Definitely recommend this place and I’m coming back to try more of the menu, inc breakfast and lunch.
Would have been lovely if the roof had been on, not good sitting outside on a cold windy wet day.
