About The Lime Kiln
Gastropub. Imaginative menu serving high quality fresh local produce in a wonderful family friendly environment.
Our favourite place to eat!
Lovely setting, lovely staff, reasonably priced, will definitely be going again.
Service and staff are excellent. The staff are really friendly. The food was very good but the buttermilk chicken filet burger was lacking something but I did finish it.
I always enjoy my evening here.
Fabulous as always, thank you.
Really enjoyed out meal. Will return if ever back in the area!
Went for the first time yesterday. Couldn't fault it. Will definitely be back
Pity some items on the menu were not available eggs spring rolls. Also no WiFi - Crazy in this day and age! Waitress excellent- pleasant and informative on the dishes.
A top class experience
Surf and turf thats the best burger i had in my life.
It was our first time at The Lime Kiln and we will definitely be back. The food and the service was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal
Nice varied menu
Great evening, with great food and drinks!
Excellent as always
Love the Lime Kiln and 💕 their chicken wings. The scampi cones are soooo good too, great addition to the starter menu. Never been disappointed and have enjoyed dining there many times with visiting family and friends. Whenever we have a celebration in the family, know the lime kiln will be on the top of the list
Fab food, lovely relaxed atmosphere, kids loved it and couldn't finish the ribs. Even before we asked waitress said should i just wrap that up for you to go. We will be back!
We go to the Lime Kiln during our lunch break, so we are tight for time. We always get back to work on time. The food and service are great. I have been there more than 10 times with work colleagues, friends or family and have never been disappointed.
Très bons plats. Ambiance agréable. Service un peu jeune et inexpérimenté mais sympathique quand même. Very good food. Nice atmosphere. Young waiters lack experience but still friendly.
Absolutely love the sirloin steak and broccoli side, we order every time!!
Only discovered this pub last year and omg the food is to die for. Not once have we had a bad meal(and we have had loads)and the staff are great. We travel 45 minutes just to eat here. Unfortunately I am emigrating and Sunday was our last meal there. Continued success, keep turning out the great food
Great food and great service 👍
When planning a trip to Laytown races I looked for somewhere that could provide a good meal, which catered for my coeliac needs, and was reasonably priced. The Lime Kiln succeeded on all three measures. The service was great, the menu interesting. I'd recommend to anyone.
First disappointing trip to The Lime Kiln where we've been many times. Kids food arrived promptly but the adults waited 45 minutes before we had to ask what was happening. Apparently there was a mix up with the orders and food then arrived. I would have thought it reasonable that this would have been reflected in the bill, even the kids desser being taken off but all we got was an apology. Added stress as we had to rush to airport to catch a flight.
Staff and service was excellent but alas my anticipation at the thoughts of being served hand cut fries turned sour pretty much as soon as I saw what arrived . How hard can it be to cook a pan of chips ? I was so disappointed. It’s not like no one ever orders chips .......they are a staple part of the menu .
