About Woolpack Inn Warehorne
A beautiful 16th century inn nestled in the peacefully picturesque village of Warehorne. The Woolpack is opposite St Matthew’s church and surrounded by grazing Romney Marsh sheep. There’s a wonderfully welcoming bar, comforting food and five characterful guest rooms.
As per the recent government announcement regarding the opening of pubs and restaurants, our bookings systems are now open from Wednesday 19th May. Visit our website to make a reservation or email us on [email protected] for more information.
We are taking reservations from Monday 12th April, this will be outdoors only* and can be booked via our website.
opening times and reservations will be weather dependent and we reserve the right to cancel or change, due to adverse weather.
we only have a limited number of tables that are covered, we will operate on a first come first serve basis.
We can't wait to see you all soon.
Our opening times could be subject to change, pending updates to government guidelines.
The above comments were made for an "outside dining reservation" prior to lockdown restrictions fully lifted and therefore should be read in that light.
We sat outside on a very blustery day but it was still nice to be out for lunch. Food was really good and service too.
It is a great pub and the service is excellent, we just hoped for warmer weather! Cheers John Craig OBE
Despite showing up half an hour early for our booking the staff at the Inn made every effort to accommodate us promptly. Given that the weather was inclement myself and my guest were seated under shelter enjoying warmth of not only the heaters but also the service. Credit where credit is due the staff here really went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable
Easy to book online, but was called 3 hours before my booking time to say there were no covered tables available, so we’d be at the mercy of the weather! When we arrived the manager had managed to allocate us a covered table after all, but had it been raining before we arrived he would’ve lost our booking! The food was great with the exception of the roast beef... barely cooked and as tough as old boots! Having complained to the manager I was compensated with a free pudding. The serving of chips with the burgers and hot dogs were quite small but very tasty. Very limited menu and nothing available for my gluten intolerant partner. Overall, could do better. The Woolpack has an excellent reputation but this experience was not as enjoyable as previous visits.
Haven’t been since new owners took over, really happy that food and service was excellent, already booked to go back next weekend.
It was great once again to be able to enjoy a pub stop on a walk, long may it continue.
Despite only being able to sit outside the pub due to Covid restrictions, the staff were VERY friendly and inviting. The limited menu for food and drink was a good choice and the new steel framed sturdy canopy with outdoor heating was cosy. Would defo come back again pre and post restrictions. The welcome and continued upbeat manner of the staff was incredible! Thank you Woolpack. Gina Robertson
My favourite pub
We had a very enjoyable lunch outside yesterday. The sharing cheese and smoked fish platters were lovely. Every effort has been made to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Thank you Team Woolpack x
Amazing spot, lovely staff, really decent, generous food. New favourite spot.
Lovely first time dining post lockdown. Couldn't get the heaters to work which may have made things more comfortable, but we had coats. Great food and service.
Excellent food and service.
Taking into account the limited menu due to current restrictions the food offered was well presented and delicious. The weather was a little against us but we couldn't fault the service and the facilities in place to cope with COVID requirements. When the rain did eventually arrive we were ushered to another table with a lot more shelter and a heater. Will definitely return at some stage in the not too distant future. Thanks to all for a most enjoyable lunch.

friendly and competent staff and really good, well-cooked pub food. We will return and heartily recommend it for every category.
Great venue even on a cold but sunny spring day. Prompt and friendly service with good food, beer and wine.
We love it here! This was our third visit, and we will definitely be back many more times. Perfect for a casual lunch with friends or family.
Friendly staff always make me feel welcome. Great wine and beer selection. Lovely outside area (and interior when not covid times). Local country pub with charm and bistro feel.
Lovely to have as our nearest pub. Nicely set up for outside dining. Will visit again soon 😃
A beautiful day to enjoy a perfect lunch after a good walk from Appledor. And the return to work it off!!
Absolutely fantastic place with attentive and personable staff. The food was spot on and I can't wait to book again.
What a gem of a place, I booked without knowing about and what a joy it was thankyou. Great service and location
