About Woolpack Inn Warehorne
A beautiful and unique 16th Century Inn nestled in the picturesque village of Warehorne. The Woolpack is opposite St Martins Church and surrounded by grazing Romney Marsh sheep. There is a wonderfully welcoming bar, comforting food, a roaring fire and 5 characterful guest rooms.
Our menus are based around the best local and seasonal produce the South Coast of Kent has to offer, showcasing the finest ingredients from land and sea. We are equally passionate about our drinks offering as we are our food with a fabulous range of beers, wines and ciders, sourced from the producers on our doorstep and further afield on the continent.
The Woolpack sits within The Pickled Egg Pub Company, a unique group of 4 beautiful Kentish Pubs around the South of Kent, all owned and operated by chef Mark Sargeant and restauranteur Josh De Haan.
Great food and service, remarkably charming pub, would go again in a heartbeat when down visiting Kent.
We had the burger and chips, unfortunately the burger was only just warm but the Black Forest brownie was delicious. Friendly service and good value with the 30% off.
We enjoyed a long chilled out lunch on one of the last days of summer (Fri 18th Sept!). Food, drinks and service spot on. We were looked after by the lovely lady from the Czech Republic who is unlikely to forget us for a while! Thanks again!
Really lovely pub and the staff were super friendly and made us feel very safe and comfortable
Fabulous service and great food. Highly recommended.
Fantastic time at the Woolpack! Treasured memory of an end of Summer day...
Lovely Sunday dinner at the woolpack yesterday! Friendly lady waitress who was very attentive. Beautiful pub and Covid safe! Can’t wait to return soon. Thank you 😊
A lovely meal enjoyed by all of us. Lovely waitress too. We will be returning and have already reccommended you.
Had to wait for a while to b acknowledged. Waited too long before being led to the table. Also had to wait for a while before we were served. We should have been asked to get a drink at the bar whilst the staff get themselves ready
Lovely service great good will be booking again
Great food as busy and due to covid service a bit slow but can't be helped and we expected this so hence 4 star for service but 5 star for everything else.
Another great night at the Woolpack. Friendly, attentive staff and a great atmosphere.
We had a good time. Wonderful not to cook at hone after so long !
Great evening, food excellent.
All worked well. Thank youb
Do not like the Woden seating on the toilet, doesn’t feel hygienic. The cost of the meal seemed more expensive. However, we had a good meal and will be back.
Really lovely food and great service 😊
Without a doubt we will be back!
Lovely stay! Thanks so much for having us!
Another good meal in a lovely setting with great service, definitely returning.
Beautiful setting, well organized and the food was really amazing. We can’t wait to go back.
The three of us always enjoy this pub and the staff really look after us, The two that ate thoroughly enjoyed their meals and I enjoyed my Guinness! Great location near churchyard and rustic atmosphere.
Very pleased to find 'Harveys' back on again! Another very nice lunch.
This is the first time we have tried the Woolpack under the new owners. Unfortunately the food was really awful (chicken really overcooked and everything else just less than average quality) and although the staff were perfectly polite, all our waitress was interested in was getting us to order the minute we had sat down. She came over three more times in quick succession so we felt hassled to order. Really dissapointing. We won't be back in a hurry.
