About The Windmill Inn Brascote
The Windmill Inn was taken over and fully refurbished in July 2012, opening our doors on August 4th 2012.
Our head chef (Alan Morgan) and head front of house (Steve Bazeley) own the business and are very much hands on! Our Head Bar and Waitress staff offer vast experience and support the team in all ways. It is a happy environment and pleasurable place to work which reflects on customer experience.
We are a team!
We pride our selves on quality at all levels. Our goal is simply for our customers to enjoy their time with us.
We firmly believe that only with quality comes success and always welcome your comments as a means of ensuring that all of our customers, both new and old, continue to enjoy their visit to The Windmill Inn.
Our first visit and what a fabulous experience. From the welcome we got to the food absolutely first class. We both had pies and can only say they were brilliant,in fact I would go as far as saying probably the best pies we have ever had. Would definitely recommend and it will not be too long before we return. You have got a great setup, something to be proud of.
This was our 1st visit but we all loved it . Food was excellent good portion size and it was hot will definitely be coming back again soon
Excellent! Yummy food and friendly efficient staff in pleasant, relaxing atmosphere.
Excellent food and service :)
We visited on Monday pie night when you had live music. Thought the food and service was great, enjoyed the music but thought it was just a little too loud as we difficulty hearing one another.
Been many times, always good food, good service, good company, and good value for money
We had a fabulous, fresh cooked Sunday roast. We will be returning next week. Staff were friendly excellent service Excellent value for money. One of the best roasts if not the best we have had in a long time.
Yet another excellent night at The Windmill. The food never fails to please, a decent selection of ales, pleasant and helpful staff. You couldn't ask for much more.
The tasting menu goes from strength to strength.Steve and his team make every visit a pleasure and the diversity of meals on offer must surely cater for all tastes.Brian
Beautifully presented and delicious food. We had the 2 course midweek lunch. Love the decor! Friendly waitress, very efficient.
Great taster night , wonderful atmosphere and money raised for a good cause... brilliant
Just fantastic - it was our first time coming for Sunday dinner, and all 3 courses were delicious. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, particularly as we were in a large group. Will definilty be coming back very soon!
Absolutely lovely sunday dinner yet again.
Excellent, as always.
The best steak pie and chocolate brownie I’ve ever had!! On arrival we were quite hesitant as the exterior appearance didn’t give a good impression and the entrance was through the rear of the restaurant past the working area which wasn’t very inviting. You need to pass the rest rooms before reaching the bar area. I visited the ladies and the facilities were tired and dated. However the bar area was nice and we were greeted and served tea before being seated in a lovely modern restaurant area. The teriyaki beef we had for starter was delicious, (not tough or chewy at all) and the brisket beef and ale pie was absolutely amazing, the best by far that I’ve ever had. My partner had the pork noodles which he enjoyed. The chocolate brownie for desert was a 10/10 - and from me that is rare as I consider myself a chocolate brownie expert!!! The food was very reasonably priced, they could easily charge more. It’s clearly a popular place with the locals as the atmosphere was great and the place filled up as soon as it opened. Service was ok, we didn’t have drinks on the table during the meal but the staff more than made up for it by surprising us with a birthday candle in the desert which was a lovely touch. A tart up of the exterior and rest rooms plus front entrance would dramatically improve first impressions. We will be definitely be back if we’re in the area again! Thank you
Prompt service but didn’t feel rushed. All the dishes were well presented and the food very tasty.
good value for money paid
Amazing food. Excellent Offers available weekly Pies are amazing and the cheesecake is delish. Always a friendly welcome. Children welcomed.
Wonderful, food, great service, lovely location. Very reasonably priced for a really good night out!
Usual very friendly welcome and service followed by good food and atmosphere
Food was very tasty. Would have liked more bread as my daughter who didn't want a starter proceeded to have half of mine. Steak knives would be good when having the meat but I did have an injured finger so couldn't cut easily. Lovely to have fresh ingredients and no frozen additions. Service very friendly. Thank you for a lovely Sunday lunch.
Great place with friendly atmosphere and supportive service
As usual a great meal and very friendly service
Friendly staff, very accommodating
