About The Windmill Inn Brascote
The Windmill Inn was taken over and fully refurbished in July 2012, opening our doors on August 4th 2012.
Our head chef (Alan Morgan) and head front of house (Steve Bazeley) own the business and are very much hands on! Our Head Bar and Waitress staff offer vast experience and support the team in all ways. It is a happy environment and pleasurable place to work which reflects on customer experience.
We are a team!
We pride our selves on quality at all levels. Our goal is simply for our customers to enjoy their time with us.
We firmly believe that only with quality comes success and always welcome your comments as a means of ensuring that all of our customers, both new and old, continue to enjoy their visit to The Windmill Inn.
Super lunch as always!!
The quality of the food defo does not match the prices. I have been before and always enjoyed what I have had. Yesterday’s Sunday lunch wasn’t up to the usual high standards. Baring In Mind your prices match that of Ashfields in Earl Shilton which is a great restaurant the quality of the food didn’t live up to the prices I’m afraid. My prawn cocktail came with a supplement not sure why, it was small prawns with a sauce I didn’t even get a slice of brown bread and somehow there was tomato salsa in the prawn cocktail which I didn’t like at all. Mains came and I love my veg. It was covered in something so strong me and my son had to eat our Sunday roast minus any veg. The pork was good but my sons beef was tough and tasted like lamb. Maybe it had lamb Gravy or was cooked beside lamb he just didn’t eat or enjoy his food and I have to agree. The waitesss was very nice about the comments and dealt with it professional and promptly so for that reason I would defo come back as we don’t always get things right. If you are charging what you are charging for two courses I really think that quality and attention to detail should match the prices. The waitress said ask for your bwgvplakn next time? I didn’t know you ever have to ask that as I have never been served veg quote like it. A little bit of broccoli wouldn’t go amisss with your Sunday lunch too. Your roast potatoes were good.
We’ve been visiting you for the last five years and have been impressed with your service and food every time. A meat eater and a pescatarian always leave full and happy!
Yet again, a very good meal and lovely atmosphere with the live music.
Very pleasant dining experience, lovely food, and brilliant service, all friendly and helpful, would definitely return in the near future
Sophie looked after us so well during our lunch. She was friendly and professional. Some horses were going by and she came over to tell our daughter so she could go and see them. Both myself and Husband had the pie of the day and It was delicious. In fact all the 3 courses we had there wasn’t anything that wasn’t delicious. The only downside is we were lunching on the way to our holiday and it’s a bit too far from home to visit. Next time we are near we will be back. Thank you so much Sophie
First visit and it won't be the last. Fantastic food, really attentive and friendly servers and lovely atmosphere.
Always good fresh food and good variety, well prepared and served.
We have been to the Windmill on a number of occasions and always had a really nice meal. The menu alas has a good selection and additionally there are always specials that supplement the menu still further. There are a good range of drinks and the staff are always excellent.
It was really lovely good quality and value worth paying a bit extra for quality of food
Lovely Sunday dinner, nice attention to vegetables to make sure they were not over cooked and had plenty of flavour. Gazpacho was delicious too
Food was lovely and service very friendly.
Introduced an old friend to The Windmill and as ever you didn’t let us down. A fabulous meal, lovely relaxed atmosphere and great staff. Thank you
Went for Sunday roast. Excellent food and service. Staff really helpful and lovely environment.highly recommend their homemade cheesecake!
Very good as usual!
Really cramped table setting made it very uncomfortable eating. My father had a very tough steak and let the waitress know.onky to be basically told he was wrong and the chef always leaves the tough bits on and that's what you get when you order rump. We're offered two free deserts which was kind but the attitude took away from the gesture
Pie night!- lovely great value would highly recommend
We will be back. Looking forward to having our anniversary meal with you.
Fabulous 6 course Taster Menu. Great dining experience, relaxed, friendly and fantastic food.
