About The White Hart Duffield
This superbly renovated pub and restaurant is the perfect setting for many occasions. Whether it’s coffee with Mum, dinner with friends, a pint with the boys or enjoying the paper with the dog. The White Hart’s extensive range of food, beer and wine can satisfy all appetites.
We were very happy with all aspects of our visit - will definitely come again!
Beautiful food in a lovely, relaxing and quirky pub dining area.
Great food and wine and fabulous service. There was a large party of rowdy men in who stood around in the restaurant and caused rather a lot of noise, not pleasant for the others diners. Hence the 4 stars for atmosphere.
Friendly and efficient service, good quality food. I have already recommended you to a colleague!
Lovely evening white hart Thank you Anna for helpping me arrange and take time to help me sort things iut for the night. Friendly staff cute man with nice smile head waiter who went out of his way to make the best browny sunday. Thank hug. Steak could of been bigger. But we all had lovely night thank you and we would come again.
Had a lovely evening with quite a large group. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the atmosphere was great and the waiting staff were super.
Excellent carvery, attentive and friendly staff, good value for money.
Service was slow & waiting time between courses abit too long Food presentation & taste was poor for two out of the 5 eating for a family birthday lunch Seemingly poor communication between restaurant & bar staff members. A below par experience having had much better food & service quality in recent times
It was busy but service and food was very good. Would happily come again.
Really enjoyed our visit, the food was the best we’d ever had at the White Hart and we’re regular diners 👍
Waited 85 minutes for breakfast. Bacon, sausage and black pudding were all over cooked. "Toast" was only toasted on one side. Extra toast ordered did not arrive. Scrambled eggs served with smoked salmon were very overcooked. Really had the potential to be good but seriously let down by the wait and overcooked food. Not quite the fathers day breakfast we envisaged.
We can for breakfast at 10.30 on Father's Day having really enjoying doing the same on Mother's Day. The pub wasn't that busy when we sat down and ordered but gradually filled up as we sat waiting. We ended up waiting for food for st last 45 minutes during which time we saw no good being brought out from the kitchen on fact I'm sure st one point there was no food at any table in the pub! At no point did our waitress come over and apologise or explain the delay - eventually food started coming out of the kitchen all at once but our enjoyment of it and our whole visit had been diminished especially as everyone one around us was also getting more and more unhappy and restless with the lack of food and information!
Excellent attentive service, lovely food nice and hot would highly recommend.
Excellent as always
Absolutely love this place. Fantastic and diverse menu, impeccable staff, great buzz and atmosphere. Beautiful venue for a family meal or romantic date. Cannot speak highly enough of the whole experience.
Went here with friends and from start to finish the service, food were fabulous. Can’t wait until next time 👍
Food & staff excellent but I think some aspects of the interior need updating Regards
Service was fantastic, friendly, accommodating & really welcoming.

A great reinvention of what used to be our favourite local restaurant, now even better. Like the new look, interesting menu, great food and excellent service.
Great service with some genuine friendly communication, plus some well priced tasty food
