Food was excellent with good portions and the staff were helpful without being overbearing, desserts maybe a touch on the expensive side.
Lovely food. Couldn't fault it. Steak was very tender and flavoursome. Wish I could eat here more often but will look forward to my next special occasion.
A great meal with great service. Will definitely go there again when possible.
As always amazing food and amazing service!
So good to get out and enjoy a meal with our 2 boys (who loved the play area). The service was friendly and the game pie was really delicious and extremely filling.
Food and staff excellent , becoming a bit of an habit !
An excellent night out - even under lock down conditions - will definitely be back. Alan
So consistently great, especially the Brazilian dishes. Well kept beer too. A better, local, bottled, cider should be available in the winter months when there's none on tap.
Amazing as always
Lovely food, good value, very friendly staff. Thank you!
Great meal as always, loved the pork belly special!
Continues to impress
My friend was so disappointed that he had finished the meal, he didn’t want the experience to end!
Nice to see some Brazilian dishes on a menu and overall a good selection for a good price.
Food is consistently excellent and you are always well looked after with a laugh and joke never too far away. Job done!
Excellent as always ..never disappoints
Quite amazing yet again . I have spent the last month eating in the best restaurants around Asia , but nothing vp an match the flavours created by the Brazilian Chefe de Cozinha
Warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, tasty menu, and consistently large portions..... what more could you want!
Great food service fantastic value for miney
Our first visit to The Wheatsheaf. Very friendly and efficient service and the food was very good quality and value. The Harvey's Sussex on hand pump was in very good condition. It's a nice cosy pub with an attractive beer garden for the good weather. We are not local but will definitely visit again. NB the pub is very convenient for the Sussex Prairie Garden just down the road.
Lovely food and brilliant service, definitely be back
Excellent food and service. We ate in the late afternoon and it was pretty quiet, but friendly and safe.
This was our first visit to The Wheatsheaf as we had intended visiting the Sussex Prairie Garden, however, rain and wind stopped that! We enjoyed the Brazilian meat and fish stews very tasty. The place appeared very well organised for Covid 19 and we felt safe. Everyone seemed to be following the guidelines and everything appeared very clean. Thank you
We were a group of five women celebrating a birthday. Unusually, we all immediately picked the same dish as it sounded very different to the usual pub fare. A Brazilian lamb curry. It was absolutely delicious. lovely to find somewhere that had lots of unusual dishes on the menu. We immediately rebooked, wanting to try the fish stew next. Staff excellent and food wonderful.
