Very pleasant meal. Good quality and good choice.
Waited 45 minutes for food and waiting 25 minutes to be told they didn’t have gluten free bread/wraps or anything bread like so we had To change from fajhitas to pasta. But after eating it appears there was gluten in the sauce as my sister in law took a bad turn after eating it. Food was lovely & server was lovely but the wait and the gluten was extremely unsatisfying.
Lovely setting fir the restaurant. Mostly young staff, but obviously trained very well. Food was served about the right time after ordering. Food was lovely and hot.
Great service and staff were friendly with lovely food will definitely be back
Loved the idea for children to create own pizza as did our granddaughter. Would love to have an adult option of this. Service was also very good.
Lovely morning at The Waterside. Looking forward to our next visit!
The maitre d was excellent sorting out our problems - 4 people dining and only 2 received their food - without chips side order - 1 x very small fish cake and rocket - very poor for £7.25. Complained to waitress re only 2 plates - finally after a time the sandwiches arrived for other 2 diners - and the chips - which were for the fishcakes arrived!! Seemed very disjointed with everyone eating at different times!! The staff were helpful but was distinctly chaotic for us waiting on food!!! Very disappointing !!
Upon our arrival we were offered a table inside or out, as it was a nice evening we opted for outside. We were pointed in the direction of the windows. Outside there were a few free tables none of which were cleared or clean. We sat at one of the tables which we cleared and waited 5 minutes hoping someone would come and clean the table, this didn’t happen. Due the disappointing menu options and the service we had not received we decided to leave and went elsewhere for our dinner. We gave eaten at the Waterside on a number of occasions and had chosen to book again as this was a special occasion. This visit certainly didn’t meet our expectations.
My only complaint was the sauce that came with my crispy chicken, was very bland and the rice needed seasoning. The chicken was delicious, and my friends meal was lovely. The young girl who served us was very attentive. I would come again but would choose something else from the menu. Otherwise i have no complaints.
Food was delicious & quick friendly service
Food and staff were excellent
Coped well with booking for 20, and service obviously was expected to be slow. Can't comment on other dishes but the duo of beef was gorgeous. Didn't hear any complaints from anyone else. Don't usually complain about sticky toffee pudding being too big but there was not enough sauce for it so a bit dry. Fab experience though.
Service poor - waited 35 mins from receiving tea/coffee before sandwiches and cakes came Request for water ignored twice Had to ask for side plates and cutlery Food was amazing and price reasonable but service a let down
Nice restaurant in a brilliant setting. Good and prompt service. Good food but on the expensive side. Father's Day set menu restricted and not significantly discounted compared to main menu options.
Had a lovely light lunch, food was excellent and staff very attentive.
Food fantastic busy fathers day not rushed and staff member iona attentive
The staff were very helpful and friendly My husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious the atmosphere was relaxed. Next time we visit Scotland we will definitely stay at this hotel. Maureen
My family and I had a lovely evening. The food was great and the staff very helpful and especially kind to the very young members of the family which we appreciated.. Thank you Ruby Mulholland
Haven’t visited in a while, food used to be great but wasn’t good at all and prices were far too high
Had booked a seat with sea view didn't get that my partner was placed against the wooden interior off building couldn't see anything service was not great and as sharp as it should be too . Fried food was greasy and couldn't find any body to get bill off had to go to bar and get it myself was very disappointed and won't be rushing back
Staff were really friendly and food was delicious. Our only criticism is the music was really loud. We were in for dinner at 7pm and could hear the restaurant music in the car park before we even got in to the main dining area.
First class food and staff are a credit to you, everyone was fantastic.
Good food and friendly staff, coupled with fantastic views makes for an enjoyable eating experience!! Would definately go back.
Great service from Rebekah and Brenda Leigh, and the barman Craig S.... very attentive and welcoming.
