About The Walnut Tree Inn Blisworth
Succulent beef from the Newbottle estate near Brackley, tasty free-range poultry from Yardley Hastings and deeply delicious free range eggs from Milton Malsor, just a few of the locally sourced foods we offer in the dining room and bar at the Walnut Tree Inn. We’re committed to providing you with the very best ingredients, whilst supporting local farmers and suppliers – you’ll enjoy a true taste of the county.
Best value/quality in the area
Always a pleasure, the food is amazing and the staff are always welcoming and obviously enjoy their work. We have never had a bad experience here, it is one of our favourite places to visit for either just popping in for a drink or a meal.
The best meal I have had in a long time. The chicken wrapped in Parma ham was absolutely amazing. We can’t wait to return.
Always a pleasure to visit The Walnut Tree.
Came for, and thoroughly enjoyed, the pizza night. Absolutely delicious, and gluten free too! Thank you!
Just lovely good and great service every time we come. Keep up the good work
Excellent all round and a great quiz
A very good family meal out. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Very good food, excellent staff.
Chips came ready salted and far too much of it on them unfortunately. I prefer not to add any, it's bad for blood pressure as well as drowning out the real taste of the food.
Have been with my family three times now and the food and service was brill each time. Will definitely be back x
Always a lovely experience!
Lovely food, waitress (Sarah) was very friendly!
We weren't seated where we asked for but that aside it was great, food and service were excellent, despite a busy wedding in the function room which can ram the bar until they decamp
Very friendly staff and good personal service. Food was excellent!
It never disappoints...excellent service and food.....it was our anniversary after being married here 4 years ago which made it more special....would definitely recommend.
A little more choice on the menu would bve good
Excellent salad with delicious chicken cooked perfectly.
Value was exceptional as we used our taste card. Food was great, one of the best steaks we've ever eaten.
Excellent all round.
Staff were excellent. Dining experience spoilt slightly by children being allowed to run around the restaurant
Lovely place for a meal
Good food and service.
I ordered 'Artisian breads' below is the exact description copied from their menu. Artisan Bread Board.................................................... 6.70 selection of our own sourdough breads, nocarella olives, roasted garlic, hummus with olive oil and black garlic vinegar (V I asked for GF bread, was grateful told this was fine. When it arrived there was FOUR traingle square of toast! Equivalent to TWO slices of bread!!! We where given two plates as its intended for sharing! Far far from a "Bread board!" Or to share! This cost us £6.70! The gentleman behind the bar could not have been more pleasant. Unfortuantly though the good service that had been given was ruined by a different waitress when delivering our deserts. I personally had ordered my daughter's desert and questioned whether she could have ice cream only, rather than sorbet & ice cream combined. A mistake had been made and my daughter was given sorbet & ice cream, a simple mistake, when I mentioned it was wrong, the waitress rudely remarked FIVE times that I had made a mistake when I placed the order, instead of simply changing it. She said that I was wrong and that was defiantly what I had orderded. Her remarks where rude and un-nessarsary. This was our first visit here! Our bill came to £105. We shall not be reccomending to anyone. I hope someone from the Walnut tree decides to contact us and try's to change our first opinion of the Walnut Tree.
