About The Vue Restaurant at Castleknock Golf Club
The Vue Restaurant at Castleknock Golf Club is one of the hidden gems in Dublin 15. With spectacular views, overlooking the golf course and Liffey Valley. At the Vue we have something to offer the most discerning diner. The Vue is a perfect location for a memorable lunch or dinner and as a fantastic venue for group dining.
The Vue restaurant is spread across the first floor; open for lunch and dinner, offering a la carte and pre-post round specials menus. The decor combines modern design, warm wooden flooring, and original artwork to create an intimate but relaxed atmosphere.
We had our sons christening in the restaurant, I was very impressed by the service we received from booking right through to the meal. My son was a little out of sorts and a fantastic waitress took him for a walk so we could enjoy our meal. Food was lovely and great value. Honestly couldnt fault the entire day. We will most definitely recommend and be back. Thanks
Smashing venue, food was excellent.
Great food as always. Friendly staff and great service. We'll be back.
We, four friends, enjoyed excellent service & a menu with good choice in a relaxing atmosphere as we looked at the beautiful view over the valley of the Liffey. The value & quality were both excellent. We look forward to our next visit.
We had a lovely reunion lunch made all the more special because of the service, food and relaxing athmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit. Mary O’Shea
Lovely friendly and competent staff. Good service and food. Nice views and atmosphere.
Big improvement on the quality of food. Current offer good value. Staff very friendly, especially Jess.
Lovely surroundings with helpful staff
No chips- wedges as an alternative not very nice
We were very disappointed with our dining experience at the Vue. We were a party of four who dined there last Saturday. It wasn't busy, there was a birthday party and another table besides ourselves. We ordered 2 pints of Hop House, a glass of beer , a bottle of wine, four starters and 4 mains followed by three cappuchino's. We were over charged, we were charged for three pints, two desserts and three teas on top of what we had ordered. We only realised when we returned home that night that there was something amiss with the bill. We had to return the following day and received a refund from Tom. However something was still amiss with our bill. It was then we realised that we had ordered off the old menu which had been handed to us by our server and yet we got charged for the new menu prices. So we are still out of pocket. When we quizzed Tom we were told " Oh there must be some old ones still circulating". This is not a good enough excuse. It is the third week in January and we were informed that the change over happened on January 1st, very unprofessional.Overall I am very annoyed over the whole incident ,being overcharged for courses and drinks that we did not order and then being charged for the new menu prices when we were given the old menu. I will be posting my experience up on Trip Advisor as well. Very bad experience.
Excellent meal complemented by unobtrusive but attentive service
Excellent service, food fantastic in very pleasant surroundings
We really enjoyed our meal. Food was absolutely lovely and service was brilliant too. We will definitely be back
Our waiter was extremely hrlpful and attentive.
Restaurant was quiet the day we ate there. Better atmosphere at night I would think.
Couldn't rate you as you cancelled our meal on tthe day due to the weather so we had our meal in the Castleknock Hotel instead which was fab.
Food & staff both excellent. Highly recommended.
Overall quality and of food seems to be getting worse. The children’s menu is particularly bad and makes no attempt to provide healthy options. Service was good.
Lovely experience. Great value. Great setting
When we looked at the menu the vegetarian option was disappointing as there was only one which was an unimaginative curry. The staff were very helpful in converting a starter to a main meal which was delicious. The overall service was lovely and the staff were very accommodating.
We had a lovely family lunch on Sunday 15th July - we enjoyed a very nice lunch and a very relaxing afternoon, most of the lunch party said they would like to return to The Vue
While the food was good I did feel a portion of veg /salad could have been included for price also a bit more work on presentation is needed.Service very good and waitress very pleasant.
I enjoyed a meal with three friends. Service was friendly, attentive & helpful. The menu provided great variety and our chosen dishes were delicious.
Lovely confirmation meal. Very efficient service. Slight mix-up in order (my fault) was no problem to rectify. Grandparents even broke 2 glasses and staff couldn't have been nicer or funnier about it!! Will definitely be returning again.
