About The Vine
As Prestwick’s original day-to-night destination, Elliots is renowned for delicious informal dining, drinking and dancing in impeccably cool surroundings.
Of course, looks aren’t everything. This glamorous interior is matched by seasonally inspired menus, extensive drinks list & many seriously affordable offers.
There could be no better start to the day than morning coffee and a homemade cake fresh from the Bakehouse, Evolving as the day progresses, our restaurant is suited to everything from light lunch to special occasion celebrations, although if you fancy a burger and cocktails in the main bar we’ll gladly oblige!
Absolutely fabulous night celebrating my wife and my own 60th 70th birthdays Food and service first class Huge thanks to Debi in customer service for helping arrange, also Jordan , Holli, Michelle, chefs and all other on duty staff for making us feel so special. Well done to all . John and Rosie
Food was generally v good although the veggie options were a bit limited and unimaginative. As long standing Elliots fans this was our first visit to the refurb Vic and Vine. Service in the Vine was very poor, slow ands inattentive staff, and not only ourselves but observed amongst other customers Atmosphere in Vic was great and the live music aspect was excellent. Like a lot of the changes well done, but the service on Saturday night was v poor.
Service was excellent. Food was poor. Starter was nice. Main and dessert were poor. I had tortillas with the duck. These were stale. The duck was already mixed in with a sauce it was far too salty. For dessert I had the eclair. It too was stale. The bill was £68 for 2. Way over priced for the poor quality. Waitress and waiter were very good.
Had a lovely meal, restaurant had a very nice atmosphere, then we went to the Vic for a few drinks and listened to musicians, great stuff and atmosphere buzzing 😃😃😃
Your staff in the restaurant were absolutely amazing - we were in for a celebration and they made it so special. Wonderful afternoon, amazing staff, beautiful surroundings and perfect food. Thank you.
Know it was very busy however was very noisy and service was a bit slow
First time visiting since the refurb, loved loved it only issue was the size of the table. When 2 of you & ordering a chateaubriand was pretty tight had to place our wine on the next table. Won’t put us off loved it!!!!
I don't like fish so I find the menu a little fish heavy. What I have eaten has been wonderful. Service is excellent. Love the new look of the place and the atmosphere.
I have to say I was a massive fan when it was Elliot’s and I felt everything between the service, atmosphere, value for money and food was great and I knew if I could always bring anyone for an evening out and everything would be of a good standard but I was very disappointed that this is no longer how I feel about the premises. The place feels unfinished and lacking in the wow factor, the service was slow although our waitress was lovely and can’t fault her. The thing that surprised me most was price. I certainly do not feel I got value for money and this would make me avoid returning to this establishment. If there was the option I would bring back Elliot’s in every way.
Food was excellent as always. Staff so helpful. A great evening.
Delicious meals, good (and sensible) portions, staff provide excellent friendly service Regular at Elliot's will continue to be at the Vine
I liked the look of the Vine, although the flowers in reception are a bit overdone! We were booked during Happy Hour and therefore very good value. Three of us were very happy with our meal. Two of us decided to go for 2 starters each, rather than a main course. We both chose the chicken satay and were surprised to receive chicken drumsticks, having expected chicken on skewers. Neither of us was entirely happy with the colour of the meat close to the bone and they weren't very warm. We were assured that they were cooked adequately and that the pinkness was due to a marinade, however I would not take the chance. We were offered a replacement but declined the offer. We cannot fault the service nor how our concerns were dealt with but we won't be having the chicken satay/drumsticks again!
Lovely night with friends who were there for the first time and loved it , beautiful restaurant
The old Elliott’s was my favourite restaurant, and The Vine carries on the good work. Great food and friendly staff. Looking forward to my next visit very soon.
Loved the old Elliot’s, but the new restaurant is very nice indeed. Different, but still great atmosphere.
Unfortunately my wife's starter (pate) was not as nice as what she buys from her local supermarket which was disappointing.
Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Thank you for accommodating with the booths are we had back pain issues. Great night and will definitely book again! Had booked table for lunch with friends on same day too.
Food was delicious, I loved the variety on the menu. The cocktails were amazing! Quick service and staff were very friendly and assertive xx
Our first visit to Vic’s & The Vine. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Staff were very friendly & attentive. Love the New surroundings. Definitely be back soon.
The food was delicious and the £16.50 menu is a very good price for the portion size. However we were extremely unhappy when the bill arrived and we realised the price of a bottle of prosecco!! On arriving we ordered a bottle and asked if we could pay for drinks as we went along. We were told no as it confused things however I feel now it was to avoid us stopping from ordering any more after realising the £27 price tag! In total we ordered 4 bottles as a whole table which amounted in £108!!!! After speaking to another friend who was dining that night, she had been told by her server that if they went to the bar and ordered, they could get a bottle at a much cheaper price. We feel that as we were a big group, you took advantage of that fact and instead of giving us the option, gave us the most expensive bottle. Our plans had originally been to move through to the bar however after paying the bill we changed our mind and went elsewhere! It left a bitter taste in our mouth after what had been a very nice meal and has certainly put a few of us off coming back. I look forward to your response. Kind regards, Erin Nelson
Love the new look, the food was delicious and the staff knowledgeable and friendly
Lovely meal and staff very friendly and helpful
Enjoyed my first visit to the Vine . Friendly staff ,nice atmosphere and a good breakfast
Place is beautiful. Love the new decor. Food as always very tasty. Staff all very friendly 👍🏻
I visit buzzworks venues at least once a month and was really looking forward to trying The Vine. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. The booked table wasn’t ready until 15 mins after the booking time. The wrong drink was brought. We waited almost an hour to get out main courses. We didn’t think there was very much food on the plate and really feel that ordering a side should be recommended. We ordered 3 milkshakes - one we were told was different to menu before we ordered, the other 2 weren’t as described on the menu (no popping candy which was the whole reason the kids wanted them) and the sundae also wasn’t as described (not raspberry ripple ice cream and no meringue). Overall, ok but doesn’t compare well (and is more expensive) than other venues.
