5 stars for Food/Drink, atmosphere, Service and good value for money. Would recommend The Vincent to anyone.
Really good diverse menu with Sushi bar to boot👍
Great service and wonderful food!
Evening got off to bad start as we waited 20 minutes to be seated at table even though it was ready when we arrived, mix up with bar staff and restaurant. Ordered food and drinks and appetisers duly arrived, starters arrived as we were still eating, not good. when I pointed this out I was told this is how we did things, not really a good idea to have starters going cold while we still had appetiser to finish. Aubergines in curry not cooked, tiny amount of fish in curry. Same with sea bream, two tiny pieces of fish. Tempura was not tempura, soggy and full of cheese. Tempura should be light and crispy. On the whole a pretty disappointing meal. Saving grace was staff very good under trying circumstances. Expected a lot more for fairly expensive meal. Be a long time before we return.
Food and service was excellent, fully recommend this restaurant for people to try
It was a lovely evening . The food and service was first class.
Thank you so much for accommodating us. We had a lovely evening!
I would highly recommend the Vincent Cafe & Cocktail Bar to anyone. Great food and service, a welcoming atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Thanks for a beautiful lunch, I will definitely be back soon.
Fabulous evening as always ! See you next week xx
Best sushi in town
Excellent experience - was very busy so a bit noisy but appreciate there is little that can be done about that. Thank you
We have been lots of times and always enjoyed our food here. On Saturday we were slightly disappointed. 2 meals were served cold with us sending one back, they ran out of the wine we ordered and the waiters struggled to understand us. We were asked to pre order our food and we felt as if it was sat ready waiting for when we arrived as it was quite rushed and not very warm.
Incredibly overpriced for a pub meal. Far from an extensive and great menu like you used to have. Freezing cold restaurant and lost all charm. Used to be favourite restaurant in Liverpool. Doubt I will be back.
Thanks for looking after us sgain..food was lovely
I’ll be back
Very quiet when we went- due to Liverpool playing a match- so not much atmosphere but a fab meal as ever,,
Really enjoyable friendly atmosphere. Pleasant, well presented front of house staff delivering 1st class food and drinks. Only slight negative / constructive feed back is the front door entrance area can become a slight bottle neck during the busy peak times were people seem to congregate at the corner of the bar whilst others are waiting to be seated by the restaurant staff leaving people waiting outside for short periods. Not a major thing but first impressions count.
Excellent place to eat, great food served by the amazing staff, my wife and I had a lovely time returning to vincent and will do everything we can to journey up from London again very soon
Only negative was you charged me £3.75 for olives which we never received but we are partly to blame for not checking bill before paying - otherwise a lovely evening with great food.
Unfortunately I was dissatisfied with the food. I felt it was not fresh.. my husbands monkfish curry was like a microwave meal, while I had the Sunday roast on which the roast potatoes were like frozen potatoes. Service was excellent, drinks were good but can’t rate value for money as it wasn’t what I was expecting to be put in front of me or taste.
Our evening was really let down by the service. The wrong starters brought out, having to wait 40 minutes for our main during which time we finished our bottle of wine and literally had wave and wave to get a waiters attention to ask for another bottle. Then when we finished our mains, no one asked us if we wanted a dessert, and again it was impossible to get anyone’s attention to get our bill. Such a shame as it is a lovely restaurant let down by such bad service.
Incredible experience- enjoyed by all my visiting relatives x
Service was very slow in terms of how long it took for our starters to come out but the staff were very helpful when questioned the amount of time we were waiting.
Really lovely Friday evening meal here. Great staff amazing food - we will be back soon x
Will be back again very soon.
