Excellent meal, lovely surroundings, staff were friendly and helpful.
Lovely dining experience. Friendly service and great food
First time on Saturday evening and was made too feel welcome on entrance, service was fantastic.. wine was unreal and food amazing.. would definitely return once lockdown is over
Spot on, everything. What wonderful venue for all sorts of family celebrations. Will be recommending to family and friends. Lovely efficient staff and a chef to hold on to .
We had a fabulous time Mark was very informative however we had prebooked our meal to be told you don't have to anymore. We felt a little uncomfortable having to order a meal anyway and felt It was very expensive. The meal was stunning but felt £60 for two Sunday lunches was a little excessive.
Absolutely stunning lunch and location. Can’t believe it has taken so long to visit but hope to come back again soon.
What a fantastic venue and especially for Shropshire. I felt like I was sitting in a London Restaurant. Great atmosphere and could not fault the service staff so polite and makes a change from going to a restaurant where you have staff so on the ball. I would highly recommend going here to anyone.
Lovely birthday treat with family, wanted to bring my son but with two children under three wasn’t sure it was a good idea. The staff were lovely with the children and we had a really enjoyable afternoon, meal et al. My son and his wife were also really impressed. Thank you for another great meal.
First class food
The staff were fabulous, friendly, professional, helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The lady on reception deserves a special mention, she was always smiling and happy. The young man who did the wine tour/tasting was very knowledgeable and charming.
Fabulous setting and food.
First visit for us, my partner has mobility issues and we were very surprised there was no disabled parking especially as the car park is not close to the entrance, in addition the car park was muddy as it was made of grass. The majority of the staff were very welcoming although the slightly not interested attitude of one member of the team spoilt our visit. My partners Beef was quite grisly which we pointed out, we had a very sincere apology and offered a free sweet. Fantastic views from the restaurant. Overall could have been better especially as menu is quite expensive.
We had such a lovely evening, the food was superb and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Everyone from granny to toddler had the best time and your Hencote wine is the most delicious and perfect accompaniment to the meal. Thank you and see you all again very soon
Had a lovely meal for husband's birthday. Definitely return and enjoy the views next time.
Overall the experience we had was great. The food and service were really good , that shin of beef was divine ! The wine prices are a bit on the more expensive side; but their own Prosecco my wife said was fantastic and a great tasting wine. They seem to have got a good balance now given the current virus situation We will be back
Great food and so impressed with the wines! Didn’t think it was possible this far ‘north’
Very average food
Thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay and glamping is an absolute must for us. 2nd time we've stayed and both times have been spot on! Excellent food both the 3 course menu and the hot breakfast we couldnt fault, very helpful and friendly staff. Cant wait to book again.. we thank you all at Hencote for yet another beautiful experience.
Love this place and service is very good, food however is very hit or miss.
Gorgeous views and great service! The wine was lovely & our food was really nice.
