Fabulous time spent with friends enjoying a superb afternoon tea. Wonderfully attentive staff and great service. Thank you.
We were celebrating our daughter’s graduation and she wanted us to go somewhere special. The Headland never disappoints! We loved the fact that the table was decorated as well.
Fantastic setting, delicious food, and service excellent.
A great location.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience made all the better for being able to bring our dog along too. The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return on future holidays.
We went to the Headland Hotel for Afternoon Tea we have been before many times and the food, service is always 100%. Upon arrival we was greeted by Ellis who asked myself and my wife where we would like to sit which was nice he was friendly. Our waiter was Kristian again he was friendly and polite throughout the whole time we was there checked if we had any dietary requirements and explained everything that was served on the Afternoon Tea. Both me and my wife enjoyed our time at the Headland Hotel as we always do and look forward to going again. Thank you to Ellis & Kristian for excellent customer service 100% and very professional and thank you to the chef who created the wonderful Afternoon Tea.
We do have afternoon tea several times a year and while the service is excellent and the views spectacular, we found that the cakes were not as delicious as in previous visits.
Overall, your hotel is fantastic. We had a good experience in the Terrace but not great. The food was ok but nothing outstanding. The wine menu was really poor; not much selection and very overpriced. £35 for bottle of Provence Rose is far too much. Especially when compared to Lewinnick Losge which has similar bottle for £25. The service was good but had to wait a while for main course dishes to be collected. The ambience and view were fantastic so that counts for a lot.
We were seated at a table near the entrance and the outside doors which caused a very windy draft. We asked to be moved but felt we were causing a nuisance. The staff said wait until they had cleared the table but no one went to do it. We eventually moved ourselves and the staff came to clear after 15 mins. We had emailed previously that one of us were vegetarians and we explained when arriving the same. When the sandwiches arrived there were 2 sandwiches each which consisted of egg mayonnaise and plain cheese very very disappointing. We did not want to make a fuss as we had already asked to move tables. We had been so looking forward to our afternoon tea and it was a very disappointing time. The view was amazing and the hotel was spectacular but I could not recommend the afternoon tea which is such a shame
Nice location. Service average, good menu.
We had an amazing evening, helped by the Mediterranean weather. The staff were very efficient and we loved the outdoor seating area.
We had a lovely afternoon at the terrace, great service in particular Kathy, she was so helpful, I found that not everyone likes smoked Salmon, so the choice was quite limited for my husband, I feel there should be more balance between savoury and sweet as it can be very filling, the walnut cake was quite hard. The atmosphere was lovely
Lovely afternoon tea as always. Will be back as soon as we can
Lovely tea in a beautiful setting.
Had 3 evening meals and afternoon tea. The food was lovely. The service was great apart from one evening and the service was slow.
The afternoon tea was very enjoyable and recommended as an ideal treat. The scones would have been better if they were smaller.
The afternoon tea was fabulous; relaxing, tasty and very filling! We needed to take half the cakes away with us, because we were so full. The Cornish tea tasted great too, as did the Prosecco. Topped by the most fantastic view - perfect. Thank you
Fantastic day enjoyed by all the family.
Always great service and food is amazing! My favourite place in Cornwall by far!
We had a wonderful lunch on Fathers day, wine a bit more expensive than I expect compared to other local places.
We were a little bit nervous taking a 4 year old for afternoon tea in such a prestigious hotel. However, as soon as we walked through the revolving door we were made to feel welcome. The staff were very friendly, especially, too our little one. We enjoyed our afternoon tea very much. The only problem was that we couldn’t finish the scones as we were too full. Thanks again. Highly recommend. The Bushnell’s.
Food is excellent quality. For an Afternoon Tea, there is plenty of choice. We all went home full. Service is first rate as always. Views from the Terrace are brilliant.
Your welcome Tim made us feel so special which was so important as it was our wedding day. All your staff are lovely and so welcoming, our waitress was great too. So much better than many other hotels around as we visited a few to try and pick a good place to come after our wedding.
