There should not be a table directly in front of the door freezing every time someone opens it. Also you should consider that not everyone wants to eat their dinner next to dogs at the next table. We asked to move and thankfully the helpful waitress accommodated us inside after a short wait. Food was ok.
Excellent service, great food and lovely location. I can thoroughly recommend.
Compliments to the chef for amazing food!! We absolutely loved every single meal we had. Staff were lovely and we would recommend to anyone and everyone!
We had a lovely afternoon tea at the Terrace. The service was friendly and efficient. A pleasant experience all around!
Good service and food , nice views out to sea.
There was a long wait between ordering and food arriving, despite the restaurant being very quiet. The drinks and dessert orders were slightly wrong, which could have been avoided if it had been read back to us. Though the errors were resolved quickly and easily. There was no offer of crayons etc for our little one, though when we asked they were quickly provided.
Lovely Meal, Great Service. Background Music Fairly Loud
Lovely meal, great service. Only issue was there was a private party booked and we were asked to use alternate door, which had trouble closing and it was cold when Staff were trying to revert it from its the tilt position. Music fairly loud on occasion.
Perfect food, great service, will come back again, thank you
Absolutely loved every second!
Only downside you ran out of crab sandwiches!
Delicious meal, great value for 2 courses.
Great service and good food for us but unclear how vegan or coeliac friends would cope with the menu.
Supplied literature suggested a Xmas Eve menu or specials, but there wasn't one/any - standard menu and specials - if you can call sausage and mash a special. Staff were lovely, decor was nice and tapas were great, but the mains were hugely dissapointing - seafood linguinie, where the only seafood was one type of white fish. Staff were kind enough to remove them from the bill - which is not what you expect when you are out for a special occasion and have been looking forward to the evening for months. Would I go there again? Probably not, I'd try and find somewhere local instead.
Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, courteous staff.
Lovely meal Fabulous service Very friendly Good portions
My friend and I came as part of the swim and dine offer. When we arrived no one had a clue of what was happening and sent us between the reception and restaurant in the pouring rain just to come back to reception again. However the service and food at The Terrace made up for it. Our waiter, who’s name I failed to get, was beyond fantastic.
Food was lovely, highly recommend it however it was quite expensive overall when you can get 3 courses for £21 at Rosewarne Manor on Sunday and the food there is amazing. £82 for 3 people with only 2 courses and a bottle of wine is expensive, however, as said, service and food were lovely.
This was our first visit here and most certainly won't be the last. Everything was perfect from me altering the time of arrival, attention to detail, warm and friendly welcome and superb food. Five star treatment.
We ate in the restaurant as we had booked a spa day. The toilets in the restaurant were not clean. The food was very nice, but not enough of it, so ordered some extra bread. But have to say the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The terrace is a beautiful place to dine with sea views. The staff are welcoming and the food looks appetising. We visited for a long awaited family Sunday roast with our children. Unfortunately the adult meals served were lukewarm, the side dishes of vegetables particularly the cauliflower cheese appeared to have came from the refrigerator. The cheese was congealed from being cooled. The children’s meals were all hot and cooked fresh. After mentioning the adult meals to the staff we were offered replacements but as anyone with little ones knows, you eat your meal as you have it whilst they are quiet! Unfortunately for us we didn’t feel the meal warranted the overall price tag of over £100 for two course meal for two adults and four children. For this reason we will not visit again for food.
All the staff were very friendly and were happy to help.
Lovely spa day. The food was delicious and the staff so attentive.
Quality of service was very good. Speed of service was very slow. Over 2 hours for 2 courses was too slow. Especially when we have 3 kids under the age of 10 to entertain. Restaurant wasn't even that busy.
The service was absolutely fine, the lady was attentive, friendly and smiley. My only grievance is that it isn’t very clear on your online menu, one of the reasons I booked was because of the deal, and it wasn’t made clear that the lunch time deal was on the specials board only. Normally the Specials are never included in a deal because they are ‘specials’. I think that the waiters should be making it clear as I had bit of a shock when the bill arrived.
